Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at these 3 pieces and giving me your thoughts. I currently consider myself high-mid Tier 2 but I wonder if i could even be low Tier 1 now? I have been trying my best to increase my skill and feel like i get better with each piece. Recently i have been drawing manes and tails and im sure ill get even better with time but i am quite proud! Anyways let me know what you think, and if you'd like you can even tell me what you personally would of paid for pieces like this!

I'd say mid-2. Yes, manes and tails still need work. Also, have an eye for the details, like light direction and shadows. Fitting the horse size, to it's environment could use a slight tweek as well.

I feel like you are very high T2, very close to being low T1. I think a little extra work manes/tails along with doing some shadow/highlight work would bump you into T1 :)

Thank you! Yes definitely trying hard to work on both of those things! Do you know of any lighting tutorials on the forum? I definitely think it would benefit me to see how others do it :) WildWillow said: I feel like you are very high T2, very close to being low T1. This 10000% the manes and tails are good, some work can be done there. the MAIN thing that sticks out for me is your lighting/shadows

Thanks Zomb! Yes definitely working at doing manes, i have done them less than 5 times haha. With the lighting I've definitely gotten better but I need to maybe watch some different tutorials etc to help me narrow it down :) Zomb said: WildWillow said: I feel like you are very high T2, very close to being low T1. .. I'm actually sort of drooling over the manes, if I'm being honest. I adore your shading for them but they don't really fit with the horse very well is my biggest thing with them. And, as everyone else has said, your lighting/shadows, especially the shadow the horse casts on the background, is the biggest thing I would say needs improvement! You're hella close to being T1 though hun, I can feel it! 💕

Thank you Lambda! I'm plucking along and getting better as I go :) I've done mane and tails less than 5 times at this point so we're getting there! As for the shadows and highlights I definitely need to work on knowing where and how to place them. My ground shadows are normally fairly okay but it's the rest that is a hard one for me haha Lambda Estates said: .. I'm actually sort of drooling over the manes, if I'm being honest.
