Again, depends on the dogs future life. If the cropping/docking help avoid later injury and need for surgery to repair then fine. If not, then it is indeed unnecessary.
I also highly dislike most show grooming and clipping on horses and dogs. My animals live life to its fullest, and that usually means they need to keep the *unsightly* hair and whiskers that the good lord gave them.
If that keeps a judge from placing them, so be it. I refuse to take a razor and shave my horses face to the skin, and I will not cut all the way down inside their ears |
