I guess it's some magical space horse escaping to a snowy planet? This grew from a practice piece for learning to use Corel painter and its powerful brush/cloning tools. Its color corrections effects are more limited but probably because it suits a different workflow. Will be auctioned off soon (as I seem to be spending a good deal on this coming RO)
I dont know what you mean Den... this is absolutely amazing and the creativity of the horse is so unique and the whole piece just ties together so nicely. I'm scared to ask what the sb and ab are going to be though 😂😳
Thank you so much! <3 I had some fun ideas that didn't make it into the piece though, like chunks of ice or tiny "moons" orbiting the horse. I also tried making moons visible in the sky but that idea flopped. Maybe for a future piece :D ~Skye Acres~ said: So pretty Den *.* How do you like the new program?
It's perfect if you take a painterly approach to manips and art in general! There are tons of brushes that feel great to blend with (and brushes can interact with colors on layers below it). Plus natural media mimicking brushes if you're into traditional media. It has cloning tools beyond what I'm used to, like the ability to resize/skew/transform when you're cloning (by setting down reference "pins"). Kind of like a basic image warp/perspective deform tool but better. There are also different clone brushes with interesting textures, which to me feels like painting using the colors of the cloned source image (so you don't need to color pick). There's also texture painting and an "image hose" you use to spray images? Haven't explored those yet, but they sound fun! Basically tons of tools that let me do creative things way faster than I could before! But as I said, I've encountered a few annoying bugs on Mac, but maybe the Windows version is better.
