You want to be careful on carrots. They can't be given daily due to the high vit A content in them. That can cause liver damage in piggies. Mine usually get a baby carrot each twice a week. But daily they get bell pepper, zucchini, various lettuces. There are a lot of nice lists with various foods and how often you can give them to piggies on line. |

Oh yeah I forgot to mention most piggies don't like oranges due to the high acid content they have, plus from what I've heard sometimes it can cause issues with the boars, but that's just hearsay. My piggies like mandrian oranges, but not navel oranges lol. Then again they also go nuts for cherry tomatoes.

Interesting! I normally give mine a big veggie buffet once a week, with bell peppers as treats daily (their fav.) I am so going to check out what else I can give them, it's so neat to watch them try new things! ** Yea, mine didn't even try and eat the little bites of oranges XD

I highly recommend looking up the ultimate guinea pig food list. It has a whole bunch of info on there about the safe and unsafe foods for piggies, plus the amounts and how often they should get these items. |

I also make homemade pea flake treats for my piggies. Some of them love them, some of them are just ehhh it's food but not my favorite treat lol |

I have been hearing a lot of piggie owners feeding their pigs, Pea Flakes.... What is that exactly??
