Yeah, pretty much. She was seen as a way to get money and after she was spayed, they more or less dumped her since she couldn't make them money anymore
..Although, it's turning out that I'm becoming the exception to that rule lol. I found out after the fact that she doesn't like being touched around the front of her neck/the groove next to her esophagus
It wouldn't surprise me. I read an old library book once, that said some abused horses will be fine or even act like you aren't there... until someone goes to handle them. O.o
She's a horse that speaks very loudly with her body language, but gotta pay attention. In the month I've worked with her, I'm starting to suspect she has an abuse heavy background
