Amber sneakly baked two loaves of her favourite bread and headed back to her tree in the park. She ate one and kept one in her bag.

Sage sighed and opened his eyes, unable to sleep. He ran along the tree tops, dropping down into the cave he went to when wheather was bad. He saw storm clouds gathering on the horizon, and figured he had nothing better to do then get here while he could - the sky was looking nasty. Does Amber have a safe place to go to? You dumbass, of course she does! And why are you caring about her? Ugh

Amber looked at the sky "ugh a storm really?" She jumped out of the tree, walked past a cave, stopping briefly to decide wether or to stop there but decided against it. "To the bakery it is..at least I will be fed"

The rain started a few minutes later, and the wind picked up a bunch. Sage sat in the back of the cave, watching the rain fall. He couldn't see much else because of how hard it was raining, but at least it was something.

Amber ran to the bakery but it was shut "shit..." she muttered. Amber was getting soaked in the rain so she ran back to the park to try get to the tree for some sort of protection. As she tried to cross the river her foot slipped in the mud and she got sucked into in the fast flowing river. She couldn't keep her head above water, she was being whisked away too quickly. She gargled help twice before being exhausted.

Sage heard a yelp a cocked his head, curious. He climbed up to the top of the cave and looked around. He saw Amber in the river and was confused as to why she would be swimming right then before he realized she was being dragged around. "Fuck it!" He reached down and grabbed her arm as she went past and dragged her back into the cave.

Amber looked around in the dark bearly able to keep her eyes open. She started cough but nothing came up. She was shivering and exhausted so she just let her body start shutting down what's the point of life anyway

He poked her. "Hey. Can you try to cought that water up? I really dont feel like doing CPR." He was worried but trying not to show it. Why do I care so much?!

Amber stopped responding, she was still breathing she just wasn't saying anything or coughing anymore

|
He groaned and flipped her over onto her stomach and whacked her back, sending the water out since she had stopped coughing.
