He snorted. "Well they couldn't see me, but they could feel me there. And then they would freak out." He sniggered. "It would be funny. Scaring people is fun."

She giggled "true true". She sighed and sat back into the chair "I would love to be a bird" she said randomly with a thinking face

He looked at her curiously. "How so?"

Amber realised what she had said and quickly snapped back to reality. She shrugged "I dunno..you can see everything from a great height or from the ground....plus you can get some really pretty birds!"

He shrugged. "True." He grinned. "I wanna be a dragon"

"People tend to be scared of dragons..for once I want to be seen as something pretty" she said after thinking about his comment.

He chuckled. "People are scared of me already, so that doesn't change, and it never will." He cocked his head at her. "You say that like you think you aren't pretty now."

Amber slowly looked at Sage with a 'seriously?' "Uhhh look at me! I'm grubby, stick thin and my clothes don't help either!"

she looked away briefly before looking at him again with a sparkle in her eye "I know what could make people less scared of you!"

He grunted. "Yea, but the right guy won't care about your clothes to know you're pretty, even if at first glance you just look like a rug rat." Then he snorted and looked at her. "What would make people less scared of me," he chuckled.

"If we or well you! Managed to make things right in our lives! Instead of me working for bread in the bakery I could work for some money!" She quickly stopped talking and sunk back into the chair without saying anything else
