Baltix could feel anticipation rising, they were both uncomfortable with how close she was. She wanted to go closer but then she wasn't comfortable, right now, she was in power. She stepped closer, the space between her and Morrigan closed further, 3 feet had become 2.

She tried calming herself, to much excitement and adrenaline had been pumping thru her. She wanted to jump the fence and run away but she couldn't do that. Her eyes twitched, she stepped with her bad leg, she often stepped on the edge of her hoof because of the bend. Never the most pleasant feeling. She let out a few hot breaths, her head dropping a few inches while she corrected it, she still watched the human and her weirdo of a horse.

Morrigan watched the mare closely as she inched forward to them, crowding into Adonis' personal space. She sent a silent prayer in her head in hopes that the stallion wouldn't do anything stupid as she felt him shift under her legs. The brunette suddenly noticed an odd movement from the mare in front of her now, she angled the seemingly injured leg to a more comfortable position. Morrigan cocked her head curiously while she observed said injury. It looked to be an old one, sonce there was a large scar along the outside of her leg. Hmm... she pondered multiple thoughts in her head. She would have to call the Vet over to examine her, maybe he'd be able to bring a portable X-Ray with him. If she wanted to do that though, she'd have to get this mare desensitized to human touch to prevent stress and backlash during handling.

Baltix could see the angle of which the human was looking, she angled it so she couldn't see her leg. She stepped closer, sniffing her boot that was hanging on Adonis' side. She huffed, making a face, she wasn't a fan of the way she smelled. She examined up her leg, wondering, What the hell? She stepped close enough to look over her lap to see it she was hiding something. The stallion's nerves were growing. She brushed her lower lip on Morrigan trousers and jumped back, with her ears perked. "What was that?" She sound out loud without meaning to say it out loud. She looked at Adonis, he looked funny, angry and nervous, wait is that angry?- She looked away as Daxilu stomped, Being mad a squirrel in the her pen. She let out a hot breath and backed up a foot or two.

Thankful of the distraction given by Daxilu spooking a rabbit, Adonis' tension released as Baltix backed away. He saw Dusty and Daxilu out of the corner of his eye, lazily strolling around their pasture while he was dealing with this inner turmoil. Maybe he was becoming sick? This mare was making him feel weird, and he didn't know what to make of it. He responded to her question with another one, "What was what?" He curled his neck around to peer at Morrigan and tried to find what the mare had been poking around at. He didn't see anything out of the ordinary though.

Baltic looked at him oddly, staring at him. "Something touched me." She said spooked, she trotted to the other side of the pen, to her 'safe' spot. She felt like the human was planning something, something with her leg. She had a feeling the blood bay knew this, she was mad at them. She shook off a weird feeling, that of being close to the stallion, she brushed it off and huffed at them, trying to get the feeling off her.

She pawned at one of the lower fence pieces, not liking their presence, but if they were gonna be here she would have to get use to it. She calmed down and tried to ignore them.

He woke up from where he had dozed off under the trees, and got up, walking down to the river. Maybe I could skirt around the trees after I get a drink and see how Baltix is doing. He glanced back at epona and frowned. I can be back by the time she wakes up. He broke into an even gallop until he reached the edge of the human's barn. He noticed Balix interact with the human from where he was hiding in the bushes. At least she doesn't seem too upset by staying here. I mean, I'm sure she wants to go home, but she's trying. He was about to leave when Baltix spooked at something. He looked hard at the blood bay stallion and the small tiny predator on top of him. Did they do something? He wanted to charge them so, so badly - every sight and smell made him think of poor little corona. He held still, though, knowing that Baltix wasn't hurt, just startled. Besides, Epona would have my head if I did something stupid and got myself captured agin. He snorted softly, in amusement and then stiffened, hoping no one heard him.

Baltix shook her head and scoffed at her being spooked by Daxilu, she soon realized how dry her younger was, it had been near two days since she had drank, there wasn't a water trough in this pen. She would be willing to move pens for water, as long as it meant she wasn't touched. She looked around, then heard a snort. She quickly looked around, pinpointing the sound, she saw Stormfire, hiding in the bushes. Her ears perked and she glanced at Morrigan and Adonis. She didn't want to draw attention to Stormfire so she wandered to the other side of the pen. She faintly signaled something to say. "I'm Okay." or "I'll be fine." hoping he'd know to wait till nightfall before visiting, it was dangerous at that moment, after all the human was in the pen. She huffed and watched Morrigan and Adonis.

He saw Baltix signal to him, and he nodded once before slipping away silently. He cantered into the forest, where he waited until nightfall. He slipped into the human's place and took a flying leap over the fence and into the paddock where Baltix was. He dropped a bunch of moss full of water for her, since she had none. "Hey," he whispered. "You doing all right?" I hope this doesn't sound like I'm in love with her. Oh, Stormfire, just quit thinking the worst of things! It's not gonna help the depression! He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Being back in the human's encampment was....aggravating, to say the least. His nerves were on edge, his entire body tense as he continuously scanned for danger. He glanced back at Baltix and gave her a look. "And don't just say 'ok'. I know better than anyone that 'ok' is just another way of saying 'I'm dying inside but I'm afraid that if I tell you you'll judge me'. So be honest." He laughed without humor - a short, dry bark of noise with a bitter undertone. "I'm the last one to judge someone who's going through something hard or terrible." He lowered his gaze, suddenly self-conscious. Shit! What if she asks questions about my past? How will I answer? He answered himself. Tell the truth. She's wise beyond her years....she's trustworthy, even if she is from mountain herd.

He heard a snap of something heavy behind him and he whirled, pinning his ears and baring his teeth. He darted to where he head heard the noise and slammed into a furry body. He darted around, catching whatever was there off balance and then darted a few meet away to see exactly what it was. Its a mare?! What the hell? "Who the hell are you and why are you sneaking around?" His blood felt hot with fury and his whole body was tense and trembling. "Baltix, you know this asshole?"
