Baltix had dozed off, awoken by the stumbling of Stormfire into her pen. "Stormfire! You have visited me, didn't think ya had it in ya." She scoffed at his question. "If you wanna hear it, your description of Okay is exactly what I'm feeling at the moment. I'm physically good though." She wasn't in enough light to have her chest wounds seen and she was grateful. Judge? She looked at his expression, his excitement had dicipated. "If I was going to ask about your trust issues, anger management issues, depression and bad pasts, I would've asked a while ago." Her ears leaned backwards an inch. "Some stories don't need to be told." A few moments of silence passed. She looked up, "Oh.. um, hey River.." She snorted. "Stormfire, River, River, Stormfire. She's from my herd."

The brown mare looked up from her resting spot under the shade of a few trees. She had lain there after drinking from the pond nearby, and had quietly enjoyed the calmness of her surroundings. It wasn't often she could rest like this, so she always made sure to enjoy it while she could. Her head lowered amidst the grass as she sighed, taking in the peacefulness of the world. Suddenly, out of the semi silence came a voice, swearing and speaking in loud tones. Irritated by the interruption, she rose, shaking the dust and grass from her coat, causing the strange white patches to shine forth. With pinned ears and an annoyed air, she walked over to the fence to get a closer look at what was going on.

She saw a stallion, who she recognized as one of the escaped horses, talking to the captured mare and another mare she hadn't seen before. The mare had spoken back to the stallion, and was currently talking to the captured mare. Delta perked up her ears when a young and small voice repeated the swear word, and upon looking closer, she noticed a foal, who was standing close by the unknown mare. Amused by the foal's use of the swear word, she leaned against the fence and laughed, not caring if her presence was known.

He snorted at rivers question about the swear word. "Shes gonna learn it sooner or later," he snapped. " Besides, I knew that word way earlier than your filly!" Then Baltix's words registered and his jaw dropped. "How did you know about....all of that? I never told anyone. I never dared tell anyone! And you're not even in my herd!" He trembled, feeling extremely vulnerable, with his most closely kept secret out. it does feel a bit like a weight off my chest, but what will they think? I needed the cover of anger to mask that! It's all I know! The anger protects me! He flicked his ears between the mares, trying not to panic. When the flashbacks started, there wasn't much he could do. He tossed his head, gasping in pain. He gave a half rear and stambled backwards, his eyes rolling back into his head. They only lasted for a few seconds, but it felt like he had just ran for miles non stop. His whole body ached, covered with lather and he was panting. His head hurt, though not as much as before. He looked away from the mares, trembling harder, although he stiffened and tried not to show it. Fuck...this visit didn't go as planned

Baltix let out a snicker accidently when Ash repeated the word, she quickly shushed and put on a more serious voice. "I am doing well I suppose, it's not a very kind way to live, I have barely eaten, the humans wreak of.. I dont know., something weird." She chuckled in a more adult way then she had at Ash's word.

She looked over at Stormfire with a kind stare, turning back to River, She stretched out the strange leg and looked it over. "It's fine, though I must say, the roundup did a number on it. The human has plans and I don't like the looks she gives it." She remembered the way Morrigan had eyed her leg while she had been very close to her, she shook, getting rid of that feeling. She heard a laugh, she looked over at the brown mare who had approached, rather strange looking horse. She quickly planted her leg under her. She hated being preyed upon because of her leg, everyone wants a piece of the hurt one, she supposed. Ignoring the mare who had come close, she looked down at Ash. "You seem to be picking up words mighty quick, three days old I presume?" She asked the filly, the more she looked at the filly the more weirded out she got. I do not want to be a mom, it's to much responsibility for my liking.. the foals are cute. She suggested in her mind, then the looked at Stormfire again, she felt of him like a brother. A very assholey brother, but one none the less. Trying to make it not awkward she watched the brown mare who laughed at Ash.

Baltix quickly reacted to his stumbling and worriedness. "Stormfire? You okay?" She said in a rather panicked voice. "Don't worry, I doubt anyone else.. I doubt everyone who wasn't here knows about you, I know things, usually anger problems come about from having something that caused them. Weather that be bad past, bad foalhood or just plain ol' fashioned," She showed her leg. And huffed "Don't be that freaked out, stop thinking for a minute and breathe. She looked over at River worried, then down to Ash. "Don't have a bad foalhood, just dont." She made a terrible joke and she was gonna laugh, she sneered and tried to cover to before she glanced at Stormfire again. She spoke without looking at Ash, "Hello, Ash, nice to meet you." She focused on Stormfire who was in bad shape at the moment.

He shook himself, gradually calming down as his pulse and breathing rates went somewhat back to normal. He looked at the filly, and immediately grief swamped him. Corona, I'm so sorry I couldn't save you. Before he knew what he was doing, he had walked up to the filly and touched noses with her. At on point I hated everyone, especially foals. But...the foals are so innocent. If only they could stay that way forever. he glanced over at the mares. "I'm alright. I just...I get flashbacks sometimes. Ok, often. I get them often. But theve been happening ever since I ran away from my parents when I was 1."
