Anya couldn't help but laugh. He was rather adorable to her yet he had guts. Just what she wanted in a supernatural. Her phone buzzed. One of the hunters were calling her. She picked it up. "Did you finish the mission?" The voice said on the other side. "No. I found an interesting one. I think I will mess with him some more before finishing the job," Anya said into the phone. Her voice was plastered with amusement. "Anya," The voice got serious on the other side of the line. "There is a reason why you don't get many missions, especially with male supernaturals," The voice paused then continued. "You get attached then you become hesitant. I'm sure you let him go without a scratch. You let him go today didn't you?" That caused Anya to hesitate.

They were right. She did purposely let him go. The other hunters would have finished the job within the minute they first figured out he was a supernatural. "It won't happen," She said with lack of confidence. "Just trust me," Anya hung up the phone letting out a strong exhale. If Kaeden figured out this weakness in her he could use it to his advantage. It wasn't a noticeable weakness at first but if he catches on to her not injuring him like she threatens he will surely figure it out. She bunched her hand into a tight first. Tomorrow. She was going to do something tomorrow.

Caden heard a knock from his front door and grabbed his phone heading towards it. He set his hand on the doorknob, opening the door. He smirked as a small thought went through his head. Carson peered his head around the door, seeing as Caden had a smirk on his face, Carson's eyebrow rose. With a quick reaction, Caden swung the door onto Carson's head, which is something he tended to do a lot to Diago and him. "Ow. Why couldn't you just do it to Diago?" Caden pushed him lightly out of the way, closing his door behind him, locking it. "Hmm, because your head was in the way, and because I felt like it."

They made their way to the car, Carson hoping in the driver's seat, Diago in passengers, and Caden in the pack seat. They drove for around 15 minutes, before reaching their destination, Jaycee's house. Caden looked out the window as the car came to a stop, he saw many cars, telling him this was no small party...

Anya gritted her teeth when her phone buzzed. She wasn't going to pick this call up. She was off of work and she was rather tired. Anya closed her eyes to rest them but the call repeated over and over. She finally had enough. She picked up. "What?!" She nearly yelled. "Anya," The voice was deep, a fellow hunter, a good friend. "Your mission. Lev is planning to attack," When her friend said that through the phone, her heart dropped. Lev was an ex hunter. He was let go because he would steal people's missions and even hurt other hunters. "Anya you need to know--" Anya had already hung up when her friend tried to explain something.

"The time I get to relax I get a call like that," She gritted her teeth as she grabbed some things she needed. She put her mask on, the same one she wore to cover her identity when she first met Caden. Anya was able to track down Caden. He was going to a party. What a coincidence? It would be harder to find Lev in a crowd. She cracked her knuckles as she walked into the party. She was surprised that the people inside didn't mind her wearing a mask. She looked around. Caden....where was he? Now was the time to pick up the pace. If Lev found him first, she didn't know what would happen.

"What do you think Carsons doing?" Diago asked. "Ugh, Who knows, It's Carson we are talking about, he's a ball of energy who is obsessed with parties," Caden replied with a slight chuckle. Diago laughed. Caden kept getting a weird feeling with his powers, they had been acting up since the incident with Anya...

She couldn't find him. Where was he? She was beginning to panic. She searched everywhere brushing past people. She adjusted her mask to make sure people didn't recognize her. Anya knew this was going to be bad. Lev was a bulky man, quite tall. He was attractive but he had many fighting scars. He had already spotted Caden. He was inching closer and closer. Soon he was behind Caden, his arm raising to strike him. "Watch out!" Some girl screamed to Caden. That was enough time for Anya to notice.

She dashed, blocking him. Lev struck her in the face. Luckily her mask had guarded her face. Part of the mask chipped off. Anya grunted when she fell to the ground from the force of the punch. Anya was able to stand up but she was a little wobbly. "You touch him again. I will kill you," She said, her voice slightly muffled through the mask. Her voice sounded pure evil. Lev growled under his breath. Blood dripped from underneath her mask. A bloody lip she had gained from that punch, even with the mask protecting her face. Lev charged at Caden. She grabbed Caden's arm, moving him out of the way, knocking him to the ground as Lev threw a punch, noticing that Anya pulled him out of the way. The punch headed her way but she easily blocked it with a hand. She grabbed Lev's arm, twisting in a painful way. She left Caden on the ground. She wrapped his arm behind his back, to the point where if she gave a sudden movement it would break. "Not the first time I put you in your place," She snapped.

Caden had never seen such a harsh side to Anya. It was hard to see her this way. Since she was a small heighted girl people doubted that she could be this powerful, especially when it came to beating up a guy like Lev. She grabbed Lev's hair with the other hand making him yell in pain. Not only that but she pinned him to the ground, on his stomach. placing a sharp heel at the base of his neck. Her breathing became sharp like she was getting tired already. Lev, with his free hand, reached behind him, grabbing Anya's ankle. He jerked his hand making Anya yelp. He had twisted her ankle in such a subtle movement. Her leg buckled underneath her, causing her to fall, letting Lev go. Suddenly a group of men hurried over. They were hunters that Anya worked with. They grabbed Lev murmuring something in his ear and forcing him out of the house. Anya breathed rather hard as she gripped her aching ankle. Everyone was staring at her with her partially broken mask still on her face.

Caden was very startled by this side of Anya, a more harsh type of side of her than the side that he met her with. He watched as she continually fought back at him, widening his eyes. He looked over at Diago, Carson standing next to him. He motioned for them to get out of here. The boys looked at Caden, "Now.." He mouthed. He didn't want a chance of either of then getting hurt. Caden swallowed harshly as he watched Anya getting hurt, soon watching as a couple of other guys took him away.

Caden looked around to see everyone staring at her, he shook his head. "Oi assholes thought it wasn't nice to stare, go back to doing whatever you were before!" Caden said in a rather harsh tone. The others all went back to dancing and doing what they were doing. He stood up walking over to Anya, soon stopping when he got to her, he crouched down to her level. "Hey, you good?" He looked at her, listening as she breathed hard. He had many questions for her, but now and here wasn't the exact time to be asking her them. He hated to admit it but he was worried for her.

"I need to go," She managed to stand up. "Next time watch your damn back!" She said sharply to Caden. She grabbed his shirt, pulling him towards her. "This is a one-time thing, you hear me? I was just..." She hesitated. She noticed Diago. She patted Caden on the chest, to make sure Diago didn't think anything odd was going on. She turned and limped away. Anya didn't know if Caden would follow after her or not. She gulped as she stepped outside. She removed her mask. She wiped her bloody lip with her thumb.

Anya was lucky that none of the hunters actually seen her protect Caden that much. It was one thing for her to protect him but she actually took a hit for him and was now bleeding. Caden had to learn quickly that supernaturals were always targeted around here. She was just protecting him because he was her mission but she had noticed a feeling she got when she fought Lev. It was a feeling that she was protecting someone that she enjoyed being around. She felt that way about a supernatural? No! He was a mission. She protected him because he was a mission.

Caden began to walk towards the front of the house, towards Anya. He walked outside where she was and turned his head to see her. Leaning against the door frame across from her he starred at a spot in front of him. "Mind telling me what the hell that was, or are you not gonna talk.." Caden has a mild yet aggressive in a small way type of tone.

"Don't speak to me in that tone after I saved your life," She said in a bland, slightly angered tone. "His name was Lev," She finally gave in and began telling him what happened. "He was planning on invading my mission and killing you himself. You are my mission, Caden. I am the one who gets to kill you not him," Her voice was harsh. "He shouldn't be coming back to bug you anymore." She narrowed her eyes. "Now go," Her teeth were gritted.

Anya began walking away again, her limp looking even worse than before. "Damn," She murmured. It was rare she ever got hurt this bad. And she did this all for a supernatural. She bunched her hands into fists. She looked back at him. "I may have to kill you sooner than I thought," She kept a straight face when saying this.
