"yeah i was in a bit of a rush too, getting here, its a long way away." she said. "oh cool! my main discipline is also showjumping, but me and my horse Moon do a tiny bit of dressage too." she pointed to the field where moon was peacefully grazing. he stuck his head up and nickered a hello.

Lukas W. Schneider --- A slight breeze blew as the two of them walked. "Show jumping eh? Looks like we might be working together then. Have you met anyone else here yet?" Lukas looked out in the pasture where Amelia's horse grazed. He laughed at Moon's greeting. "He sounds chipper. What breed is he?" Nightmare was not as friendly as Moon was. Lukas worried about that. Dang, I hope we don't get kicked out or something.

"yeah, probably!" she said as she thought lukas would be a lovely person to work with. "ive met a girl, Lindsy, who seemed nice, but other than that, nobody." she said and smiled as they walked. "yeah he looks happy, but he can be funny around certain people. i think he was mistreated in his past. He's an English Warmblood. who's your horse?"

Lukas W. Schneider --- "English Warmblood? That's pretty neat." They approached the house and Lukas stopped. "My horse is Nightmare, aka Night. She's the black Swedish Warmblood. Kind of a handful. What makes you think Moon was mistreated though?" Lukas asked as he set his bags down. He searched around in his duffle for his phone. Don't usually keep it in here, he thought Edited at February 7, 2021 03:44 PM by Fox Bend Manor

"thanks!" she said. "oh yeah i think i might have seen a black WB, beautiful horse youve got there." she said as lukas searched for something in his bag."im not sure, but he acts all frightened whenever there are men like builders, big men with sticks, just anyone with a general 'im going to hurt you' vibe." she said, puzzling over Moon's past."he was bought at an auction, we think he came from a breeding stable. his bloodlines are good."

Lukas W. Schneider --- Lukas stood up, almost giving up on looking for his phone. "Aww man that sucks. People who mistreat animals are sick." He stated in a disgusted tone. He knelt down and continued searching. "So I bet he only trusts you right? Must of taken awhile for him to warm up to anyone. Is he skiddish?" Suddenly, Lukas felt something cold. "Finally." He stood up with phone in hand. "What's your number?" He asked. "Don't wanna be on my own here." He laughed as he handed her his phone with an empty contact page open.

"yeah animal cruelty is the worst." she said, thinking of all the poor mistreated animals in the world. "he trusts me, and people who i trust. he can be really spooky, especially with things like sticks and bags. i guess its good, they say spooky horses are the best jumpers." she took his phone and put her number into it. "yeah im glad i made a new friend," she said, and smiled at him, handing his phone back. she liked lukas, and hoped he liked her too.

Shay made sure all of her tack was in the right spots before she walked out to Edge and had unclipped the one crosstie when Edge saw a reflection from a phone screen and pulled on the crossties just slightly, he released the pressure when he saw he was tied, he snorted uneasily. "Easy, buddy." Shay said as she stroked his face calmingly.

Jess | M: Open She decided to do some more complicated work with Asteria as the mare caught on quick to what she was asking and seemed to remember what she was taught last summer. She took a little break, thinking up a little rutine they might try, just for the fun of it. "Good girl, you remember all this easy stuff don't you," she smiled at her smart mare and stroked her face, tickling the pink patch on her nose. She figured out a rutine and decided to give it a try. It wasn't too complicated but it was harder. She started off with asking the mare to circle around her, doing a nice 10m circle. Once she felt the mare was ready she started the hard work. She took off running to the other side of the arena and abruptly stoped and mare following her every move. Jess then turned to the mare and swerved from side to side, the mare bouncing back and forth, following the movments. Once they had 'bounced' for a few seconds she threw her hands in the air and the mare threw herself into a powerful rear. She came back down and Jess took off at a run for the other side of the arena, Asteria thundering after her. Jess came to a sharp halt and the mare skidded to a stop. She pattered the mares neck and asked her to bow. The mare sunk down low on one knee and bowed to the invisable audience. She stood back up and Jess gave her a chunck of carrot that she had snuck into her pocket when the left for the arena. She decided to do some other tricks, but these ones she would be mounted for. She started walking down one side of the arena and then moved into a canter paced run. Asteria noticed the cues and made sure to keep pace next to her owner. Once Jess was happy with the pace and feeling confident she grabbed a chunk of Asteria's mane and pulled herself onto the grey mares back, skipping a bit and planting her feet to help throw her body over the 15hh mares back. She landed a little heavy and unbalenced but quicky corrected herself and they continued around the arena.

Lindsy - She saw her friend coming in as she tightened the girth on venus, she talked to a different person then came over. "Hey there!" She called. She slipped the halter on her horse and did a quick check over her. ______________________________________________ Venus (horse) - She shuddered as the girth was tightened over her. She saw her friend. "Ha, you were up early!" She laughed at her friend. The halter was slipped over her head, and she was looked over as she whinnied importantly.
