"Duérmete mi niño, duérmete mi amor, duérmete pedazo de mi corazón," sang Carlota as her mare made her way down the trails, "Este-" She stopped as she heard a masculine voice call out, "Who goes there?" Oops, She thought, I hope nobody heard me singing. It was the kind of singing one does when they're fairly certain no one can hear them and they don't worry about hitting right notes or not.
"Um," she called out, "I do?" Mentally she was kicking herself. It sounded a lot less dumb in her head. She caught a glimps of a horse through the trees ahead, a rider atop the steed. That must be who called out, she thought, and nudged her horse forward a little more, slightly curious. |

She heard the riders on the other trail but chose to ingore it and continue to walk down a trail. She heard a whinnie from a distance and sprinted towards it. She gasped..."Reggy? Is that you boy!?" Reggy gave a whinnie and continued grazing. "Reggy you naughty boy! You had me worried sick!" She grabbed him by the halter and gave him a kiss on the nose. She lead him down back to the barn and patted him while talking to him. She thought...Reggy must of gotten spooked and ran, bolted. "Reggy did you get spooked?" Reggy tossed his head cacthing Lexi off-guard. As they walked down back to the barn Lexi checked her phone to see if there was anything from her parents. Nothing. She put her phone in her back pocket and got to the barn putting Reggy in his stall and double checking to see if its locked. She checked on the other horses and noticed a few riders took some horses out. She was happy she found Reggy and didnt want to have to leave his side. She grabbed a broom and started sweeping while humming a tune from the radio. She swept up horse hair, straw, and dirt from the barn to the outside. She kept sweeping while humming a Lana Del Rey tune. Reggy munched on hay and lapped up his water. . Lexi finished sweeping and walked back up to her cabin after giving Reggy a pat. she unlocked her cabin and grabbed a apple. She bit into the apple and grabbed a bag of horse treats. The apple still in her mouth she grabbed a sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight and some snacks for her. She planned on staying the night in the hay loft in the barn, The only night she stayed with the horses for non-emergency purposes. She made her way back to the barn and climbed the ladder up to the hay loft. She had set her things down at the bottem of her ladder exept her pillow, blankets and sleeping bag. She laid down a thick blanket, then her sleeping bag and then another blanket just in case. She went back down the ladder and got her snacks, books, sketch pad and pencil, and her pillow. She laid them out in an orderly fashion and went down the ladder. Lexi patted Reggy and took off his halter. She went back to her cabin to grab her phone and a speaker. She walked to the barn again and climbed the ladder. She turned on some vibing music and read a book. She laid back on the hay and relaxed as she ate her apple. |

Heather would be in one of the arenas, finishing up setting some of the jumps while Eclipse had wondered over to where his owner is with perked ears. The young woman would feel a muzzle lightly bumping her mid back a bit, turning around to playfully glare at the tall equine before gently messing up his forelock a bit. She'd gently grab the stallion's reins before leading him over to the mounting block, having him stand next to it before standing on top of the said block, carefully putting the reins over his head before gripping a hit of his mane while using her left hand to grip the end of the saddle seat, placing her right foot into the stirrup then mounts up in one swift motion when she hoisted herself up while swinging her left leg over his rump. The brunette sat herself down gently into the seat, gathering her reins while placing her other foot into the stirrup. Eclipse shook his head a bit while Heather kicked him in his sides to go forward as he goes into a working walk, deciding to do a few warm ups before they do their jumping practice. After a few walks around the arena, Heather would bring Eclipse up to a trot when she kicked him in the sides again with her heels but she wouldn't be kicking him hard or anything which the Stallion would have his ears perked while he lengths the strides of his trot, he flared his nostrils a bit before tossing his head as he was being quite high spirited which would be a normal thing to the brunette as she didn't seem concerned about his behavior. Heather would feel him started to speed up in his trot as his strides grew over time before long, they would be already cantering around the arena. The young woman would ride her horse towards their first jump, going over it just fine while working on her form so she won't be a annoying load for either of her two horses if she ever gets into competing in a competition for Eventing. The young woman would be counting Eclipse's strides while keeping herself looking forward between his ears....1...2...3...4..they've went over their second jump but Eclipse would have knocked down a pole as he didn't pick up his back hooves all the way. When they've begin approaching the next jump in an extended canter, Eclipse would have gotten spooked by something that caught the stallion's eye. Causing a refusal as the seal brown stallion suddenly jerked to the side, catching the young woman by surprise as she fell off her horse, not hanging on to the reins as she has met the ground, luckily she didn't hit her back or any of her limbs on the poles as she laid there on the ground for a bit while Eclipse would be on the other side of the arena, prancing around in a spooky manner with his nostrils flared while the whites of his eyes were showing a bit. The brunette finally started to sit herself up slowly but carefully as she groaned a bit, quite sore from the fall that she took but so far, she didn't feel that any bones were broken anywhere as she takes her riding helmet off. "I didn't really see that coming." The woman said to herself, letting out a soft sigh from her lips while noticing that her glasses were missing when she brought her right hand up to face. "Oh, great. Now I've lost my stupid glasses." Heather huffed in annoyance as she starts to feel around for her glasses with her hands on the ground.

(Aspen Fire, I can try :)) Carlota looked up at the sky, which seemed to be starting to get dark. Though she was curious as to who the other rider was, she also didn't want to stay out riding too late. She had to get back and take care of her grandmother, after all. Turning her horse, she set Blaize off towards home in a trot. As they passed by the arena, she noticed the woman who had waved to her earlier was on the ground, her stallion prancing just out of reach. He must have spooked, She thought, as she climbed off of Blaize, wrapped her reins around the fence quicky, and darted into the arena. Grabbing the stalion's reins, she cried out, "Are you ok?" |

"Your being a pain!" A trainer yelled towards Ghost as he bucked in the air in a spare round pen as he was being handled. He was running around the ring and Jessie was standing to the side. She sighed and placed her hands in her hips. Ghost whinnied loudly and the trainer walked to the gait. "Show horses shouldnt act like this." Jessie held her tongue and walked closer. "Hes a free spirit." "I realized." Jessie side eyed the trainer as he jumped the fence and stood next to her. "Im telling you, Jessie. If he cant be handled without a halter or being tied and clear that oxer, you two aint gonna go far." Jessie looked at him blankly before nodding. The cold shiver that went down her spine triggered her response to walk closer to her horse. She placed her hands in the gait as Ghost Rider slowed down and sniffed the soft sand ground. "You have to learn to calm yourself." Jessie told Ghost as the horse pranced next to her as she led him to his stall. He was energetic but she didnt want to let him lose in the padocks. Just incase. She led him in his stall, re did his hay net and walked out. Closing the gait she leaned againts the door in a frustrated mess. 'I got to train but if your not gonna be cooperative what am I gonna do...' She thought as she started walking to the tack room. |

Heather would have glance over to where she heard the woman's voice. The woman she met earlier looked quite fuzzy to her since didn't have her glasses on which they've fallen off when she fell. "Yeah, I'm fine. No broken bones thankfully. Just um, just looking for my glasses." Heather said this, Going back to looking for her glasses as the young woman was on her hands and knees as it felt like she was looking for a needle in a haystack. "Where did those blasted glasses go, they couldn't have gotten far from where I fell right?" She quietly mumbled this to herself. (Sorry for this being short 😅) |

"Oh, ok", Carlota replied as she left the horse and darted towards the woman. She knelt next to her and began looking for the glasses. She soon found them lying in the dirt and picked them up. One of the lenses was broken, "Here they are," She said, handing the glasses to her, "I'm afraid they're a little banged up though" |

Heather gently took her glasses from Carlota after the woman found them, letting out a sigh. "Good thing I have spares back at my cabin. Just getting back to the cabin isn't gonna be an easy task." The young woman felt very much annoyed with herself since she knew that she was down on her last spare of the game glasses. The brunette carefully stood back up on her feet, carefully dusting herself off. |

Carlota stood too, brushing dirt from her knees back onto the arena. "I can help you, if you like," She offered, then realized she'd never actually properly introduced herself, "I'm Carlota, by the way," She glanced up at the sky and noticed it was getting darker and darker. It must be pretty late out by now, she thought as she turned and smiled at Heather. |

The woman softly said this before feeling a rough bump from her stallion's muzzle hit her chest a bit as Eclipse would be standing in front of her now since he came back over. "This is my trouble maker of a stud, Eclipse. He's one of the horses that I've brought with me from home. I would appreciate the help back to my cabin, it means a lot." The brunette said this while carefully taking hold of the reins with a firm grip with her left hand while petting the right side of Eclipse's face with her right hand. |
