Camera's camera's everywhere. An idiot stole a mini poodle out of his yard and tried to return him for the reward money. The worst part is they couldn't even take care of the dog for a week - the pup was returned with a broken leg.
Hmm definitely will look into that, maybe we could put some in the windows/door/etc. The back gate leading to the alley has a lock, and both gates have No Trespassing signs. And god what a stupid person, but I know people do that >.> Poor poodle. |

There's been another increase of druggies, its crazy at this point. There's also been a lot of out of state plates and big vans with no windows. Last night I went for a walk with Lucky, two people commented on him. TWO. One person blew by in a run down out of state suv, loud music and shouted "eyyy nice dog" And the second one was a bit later, different person, sitting in an old truck, run down, out of state plates doing drugs. They stood up in the truck, and followed us with his gaze, before saying "Nice dog" And kept watching us as we continued. Just to be safe, did a roundabout way to go home. . Scary because never seen those people or vehicles before, and people rarely comment on Lucky, and I got MAJOR creepy vibes from them. And new creepy people are showing up everyday, and polive haven't been patrolling |

Do you have a yard you could take him out in instead of walking him? That might be safer. |

We do have a backyard, Lucky and I arent a big fan of it though. I think that might be the best bet though at night >.< And yeah, Ill try to keep track of the license plate numbers. At the time, I was to freaked out, and just trying to focus on getting home |

Havent seen anymore dogs, just the regular posters. One dog got reunited, not sure about the others :/ Bad news though: Last night when we go out of the car, there was something around the car, Lucky picked it up in his mouth (spit it back out about a second later) This morning Mum cleaned it up, apparently it was like a pound of raw meat chunks with fat around the car (but only on the side Lucky gets out of). The meat was coated with some odd substance. And deliberately placed around the car. Hella suspicious, Im worried that someone is trying to poison/kill him. (it seems to perfect, and just weird and wrong. Plus the crazy lady absolutely despises lucky and wants him dead) Thankfully he is safe and healthy, but Im worried. |

Thank you. Im considering getting a can of pepper spray. We live by the border, so people are already pretty cautious, but we've been needing to be extra on guard recently with no one patrolling. I hope the dogs are found aswell. It breaks my heart to know that so many are lost or stolen, and angers me that no one will do anything about it.
Get the pepper spray, you never know. After reading your other posts, I'll say this: Keep Lucky inside/in a yard/under your eye for as long as you can. Check the streets before walking him, and I'd strongly recommend pepper spray in case something happens. |

We have a rare hybrid hound. Not many people know of the breed, and we have gotten creepy people commenting on him. He is smart and does not let people, even people he know's touch him. His bark is scary, and so is our other big dog's bark, so it keeps people away. We got him, and our other two dogs tracking collars just in case something happens. I would suggest getting lucky one, its very helpful. |

Ill definitely look into a tracking collar, we're also microchipping him at the next event at the shelter (we went to a pet store, but they didnt have a good machine, and they also recommended us a bunch of products+operations of Lucky, so we'll be doing the shelter, a hopefully less unbiased experience LOL) |
