yeah, my AAs have a lot of frame, my SHs and TBs don't (apart from my TB braves, there frame runs rampant), it's always a risk when breeding two frames together.

Wow, didn’t know we had so may horse experts in one place.

I’m English so English riding is my life and I don’t see how it’s any more cruel than throwing horses round a barrel or making it chase after dangerous cattle (not that I’m against either as they can be alright when done correctly)

I also must insist that you apologise for not having s spare £300 lying around to pay for a custom for saddle for someone else’s horse XD

My horses absolutely LOVE cattle work LOL

I've been attacked about my height of all things according to some people riding when your 6'2 and a 170 pounds is abuse on the horse theres a reason I own a bigger horse then normal people..

XDDDD That is the most idiotic reason I've ever heard of!!
You're tiny compared to a lot of the people out there that ride. I consider riding a pony (10 hands or less) on a regular basis when you're 5'9 and 150 lbs. Come on, people!!

6'2 all leg and arms I'm the tallest female rider people have apparently seen, they are ok with tall guys riding but I got bashed for riding a 16.2 horse because I'm to tall as a girl to ride. It was confusing

I've been attacked for riding a horse in a certain bit (not my horse, I got the greatest opportunity to keep him for 6 months and ride him whenever and use him for speed events) and mind you, the horse that stayed with me came with that bridle because that is what he is used to. I will post below of the bit he has. I didn't ask why he has that bit.

That is the bit he came with (Tom Thumb bit)

I sweat my halter show horse's necks....get flack all the time. They get wrapped every morning, but get taken off at night to air out and rinsed off. I use a sweat when I exercise them as well. They're happy and well taken care of...If I thought it was bugging them, I wouldn't do it. Get mean comments all the time, though. There are keyboard warriors everywhere and there's always someone piping in about something. Had someone get mad I shaved a 3 month old foal once, too. It was 100 degrees and she looked like a woolly mammoth. Poor baby needed a partial shave.

Equine, I can (partially) understand why someone would be opposed to a tom thumb. I don't care for them myself, here's a short, concise explanation. Basically the "nutcracker" effect.

But why would you be attacked for something as idiotic as how tall you are?! I seriously can't even begin to comprehend some people... Lucky for me I don't have to deal with that because I'm 4'11 and weigh 98 pounds.

The best one was that I was abusive for not getting my horses x rayed every six weeks when they get trimmed.....
I also get the " you are so mean for having a stud chain!"

OMW I love it.
I get flak for having a stud. Apparently if I let him breed and maybe geld him sometime down the road, he'll "ALWAYS THINK HE'S A STUD!!!"
And the best part is that's what these people did!!! *doubles up laughing*
Honestly, the time when I wanted my horse to kick someone most was when...ok, let me explain.
I have a grulla 15.1 hand gelding. Gorgeous, smart, etc. LOL
He was broke by the man who I apprenticed under for breaking, and somewhere between then and when I got him, somebody scared him BADLY with a calf rope. I mean terrified, starts kicking, bucking, etc if I'm not the one holding him when one gets around his hind end.
So this woman, we'll call her Lisa, has "helped" me load him into trailers before by tying ropes on him and dragging him in. Needless to say, I was pissed. So now he hates her and (literally!) glares when we go to her place.
So a few months down the road, I've retrained him to load for me without ropes, being mean, etc. Well, we were trying to load one day, and Lisa decides that he's not loading fast enough for me, when he's clearly trying to check the trailer out before loading. So she picks up a 10' long piece of PVC and starts coming towards my horse, swinging it at him. I'm silently praying that he nails her, when he starts dancing and offering to kick her. YAY. She gets the message, backs off, and he loads fine. Now, we both hate her. XD
so sorry for the essay.
