Jagger soon stopped, panting. His heart galloped in his chest. He had been chopping wood all morning. His short wavy hair was already soaked in sweat. It was lunch time though, so he had to stop. One by one Jagger grabbed the wood and placed them into a wagon. Then, he shifted into a smokey dapple gray Pegasus and started pulling it up the slope. He knew he could never been seen like this so he did own a horse of his own. He called the stallion Smokey. He was a full black Clydesdale with brown eyes. "Hey Smokey" snorted the dapple gray. Smokey just gave a lip flutter back.

After an hour or so of traveling Jagger and Smokey finally made it to the town, Jagger had obviously shifted back to his human form as well. He slowed Smokey to a stop at the side of the road and lowered his side cloth, revealing all of the wood. The town lived a bit always from the woods so he would be the one to supply it for them, with a bit of a cost though. People had already surrounded his cart with money, but they also knew that had to wait as the royal family always sent someone to get wood for them. The king should have come himself to get it, but he never really liked Jagger's family, or so he thought. Jagger's dad, Ralph, had been known as a thief. He disappeared after the kingdom found out he was stealing from them. So, Jagger had always assumed Ralph had kept himself hidden.

Mable sighed as she listened to her mother lecture her again about her duties as a princess. Why couldn't she ever let her have some fun for once? It just wasn't fair. "I know you're still young," the queen sighed. "But one day I will not be here, and you will take my place as queen." Amable rolled her eyes as she rambled on. She had already gone through lots of training, and never once had she just taken a break. "I know, mom, I know," she said. "I've learned so much already. Can't I just spend some time out in the garden?" Her mother looked thoughtful for a moment, before replying, this time with a more gentle tone. "Amable. You can't let anyone know your abilities, do you understand? Who knows how the townsfolk would react." For a moment, Mable felt sympathetic for her mother. She knew she was just trying to protect her. "Yes mother, I understand." The queen smiled proudly at her daughter. "Good. Alright then, fine. You may spend some time in the garden for a while."

Amable ran through the lush green grass, a swift breeze blowing through her ginger hair. She smiled, the feeling of the outdoors and fresh air overwhelming her with joy and excitement. She leaped into the air, within moments shifting into a mare. Mable galloped through the garden, the feeling of wind running through her mane. She trotted over to her personal horse, who was named Dutchess. Her horse never got locked up in her stable, unless it was weather such as rain or snow. "Hello, Dutchess," Mable neighed, flicking her tail. "Hello there, Mable," her horse replied, her voice rather gentle and sweet.
