She smiled at him, and ran to turn the water on, it sprayed through the hose and splashed at Dakota's hooves. She splattered it on his legs after she returned, careful that he wouldn't get spooked. She ran it up his legs and over his back. "Like a river, running water, nothing to different!" She said, splashing it and rubbing it on him. Using her hands because she didn't know what brush to use.

he stood there allowing her to wash him soon her gandma came out "oh dearie he likes you! lets get some soap and a proper brush ya?" she said and got her some soap and a brush then she closed the gate and let her be

She froze, having been caught by her grandmother, surprised that she hadn't yelled, and even got her soap! She took the brush and splashed a glob of soap on it and broomed it through his thick coat, she raked through his fur, pulling out all kinds of debris, burrs, fur. "Man you really needed a bath." She said, pulling out a stick from his mane. She rinsed out his fur, getting the soap out.
