Maxine laughed when she felt his arms wrap around her waist and she laughed "Okay okay you caught me!" she yelped happily "What do you want for your prize?" she giggled "Whatever you want just name it." she assured happily.

Sage giggled and pecked her on the neck playfully. "I'll cash that prize in later," he purred. "Right now I'm hungry," he chuckled. He went over and started rummaging around in the fridge and cabinets curiously. 'what should we make," he hummed.

"Okay sounds good to me." she giggled before she too started rummaging "Hmm... Blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes sound pretty good to me...?" she admitted looking up at him "What about you?"
Sage chuckled and pecked the girl on the cheek before releasing her and nodding. "Sounds fine to me," he chirped happily. "Those are always good." He was fine with anything, really, and those were really good.

"Okay perfect then thats what i'll make." she chirped happily "Wanna help?" she asked curiously with a smile.
Sage chuckled and nodded, sliding up to Max happily. "I have nothing better to do," he chirped. This might be fun anyway.

Maxine smiled and nodded before she started getting out the ingredients she asked Sage to get the blueberries out of the fridge for her as she divided the pancake batter, since they each ate about 3 pancakes she always did one of each and one that had a mix of the blueberries and Chocolate chips when she did this, she loved it this way and she couldn't wait for the day she could make these for Charlie as well. She smiled and playfully put a blueberry into her husbands mouth along with a chocolate chip before she started frying the pancakes in the pan "I can't wait... its been a little bit since we've had these." she chirped happily.

Sage went to grab the blueberries happily, eager for a good breakfast. He giggled slightly when she fed him the little snack, and grabbed a handful of blueberries to eat out of his palm as she mixed the rest into the batter. He nodded and grinned, humming "your cooking is always the best," before rummaging through the cabinets to find a spatula which he handed to Max.

"And you said i'm biased?" she giggled taking the spatula from him "Thank you though." she smiled before she flipped the pancake "Can you grab plates too?" she asked "Also do you want your usual 3?" she asked curiously.
Sage chuckled and nodded in response to the girl's request and reached up to the cabinets to find plates. "Well, maybe I'm also a bit biased," he chuckled. "But anything home made is gonna be yummy. well, unless you're awful at cooking and screw it up " he thought for a second before grinning a bit sheepishly. "Make it four...I'm hungry this morning," he told the girl. Then he gave her a pointed look. "Wonder how that could have happened," he mused, though in a rather amused tone.
