Mari hummed softly to the boy when he commented that she was still in bed with him, a tired smile across her face. She didn't even feel a little bit sore... yes, her head hurt smallest bit from the day before, but it wasn't exactly... bad. She didn't feel like she was going to throw up everywhere... and that was, admittedly nice. She liked it. And she could cuddle up with Sage for as long as she felt like. Well, until the queen came, but that'd supposedly happen that evening, so she had a little while. "Still in bed," she purred softly, a tiny bit amused by the comment as she curled into him a tiny bit more. "How are you feeling?"

Sage felt a delightfully happy grin form on his face and he buried himself into the girl, really still mostly asleep so it was all just...raw feeling he supposed. It was just nice to be here with her without her struggling so much. He hummed lightly and shrugged with a tiny yawn at the girl's comment. "Better," he hummed. "Not so tight," he admitted, his voice still sleepy but thankful all the same. If the girl was still here, then that meant she was feeling alright too, which was definitely a good thing. Maybe things had regulated out a bit by then.

Mari smiled softly to the boy and reached to run her hands down his back lightly. "Good," she hummed lightly to the boy. His sleepy voice brought a slight smile to her face... and she was happy to be there with him like that. She pressed a slight kiss to his cheek before pulling the duvet up a little bit. His sleepy grin made her feel a bit lighter... she was glad he got to rest a bit longer... she'd only really just started to notice how much of a toll this was all having on him, and to be honest she felt really bad about it. She wanted him to enjoy this whole thing... but unfortunately pregnancy wasn't as glamorous as she wished it was. She was just happy she didn't have to sit in the bathroom for half an hour while she puked everywhere for once, and of instead could curl up with Sage for the first time in what felt like ages.

Sage hummed lightly, kind of in agreement to the girl, his grin widening when he felt her press a kiss to his cheek. He didn't know why that always made him so happy ..but any kind of affection from the girl made him feel almost giddy. He felt the girl running her hands up and down his back, which was still a bit sore but definitely not as knotty as it was before ahed done ....whatever she'd done. He didn't quite understand how rubbing his back had helped, but it had, and he made up his mind to get her to do that again as often as he could, because he definitely liked it. But right now he was more than happy to just cuddle in the warmth and comfort that Mari provided. It would be a busy day, with everyone important returning, so it was nice to relax a bit. He did hope though, that with the queen back Mari's work load would lessen and she wouldn't be so strained.

Mari hummed softly to the boy before pulling the blankets back over their head so that they were in the dark. She was just happy to be with him. To relax without feeling bad about it... they both could relax without needing to rely on eachorher. She'd felt bad about that. But she felt good giving him the attention he deserved the night before... it was just a bit of a shoulder massage, but he seemed to have liked it. She felt a bit fresher now... so as long as she looked after herself she'd be able to give Sage the attention he needed. He was going through things while she was like this too, so she did need to give him a bit of affection... a bit of love and comfort, because this was a big thing for him too... a baby, and it was his baby, their baby... it was pretty huge. She thought so at least... so it was good for the two of them to be together without feeling awful.

Sage giggled lightly when the girl pulled the blanket up over their head, not really sure why....maybe he was just glad to feel....relaxed for a bit. To feel like nothing could go wrong. Peaceful. And he was with Mari, and they were going to have a baby, and it was all so wonderful. Anya and Att would be back soon too, and the queen couldn't exactly kick him out now that the doctor had taken him in, and things were great. He reached up to peck the girl and the cheek, just really happy to be with her, he supposed. And be with her where they could simply just be....she wasn't throwing up her guts or crying into his chest, and he was ready to jump out of his skin. He was more than content to lay there for a while before he knew they should get up soon...they had to be ready for when everyone got back. "We need to get up soon," he hummed, but made no move to get up or untangle himself from Mari.

Mari shook her head a little before curling in a little bit tighter, really not wanting to move from the boy. He was warm, and the light peck on her cheek just made her feel light... it wasn't a big thing, but she felt good. "Can we wait a little bit longer?" She asked quietly. For the first time in weeks, she wasn't throwing up, and she didn't feel in the slightest bit slick... she was scared that getting up would change that. She moved a tiny bit so that she could press a light kiss to his lips before wrapping herself around him a bit tighter, not wanting to let him go. "I feel bad about the last few weeks - and I just want to spend some time with you when I'm not crying," she mused softly.

Sage chuckled lightly and squeezed the girl lightly, a bright smile forming on his face when the girl reached over to press her lips against his. "Of course we can," he hummed. "If the queen doesn't like it maybe she'll learn some patience," he huffed, though there's was no real negative feelings in the comment. He left his face tilted upwards towards the girl, lips still tingling. She was pregnant, so he didn't expect much from the girl in a more intimate sense, but kisses were still nice. "Oh please, holding you made me feel helpful for once," he hummed. "But this is nice," he chirped quietly, glad to be here with the girl. They had a bit of time left...so he'd definitely take it.

Mari gave a kind of happy sound when the boy gave her a little bit of a squeeze. It was nice just to be with him... when they weren't both tired, or grumpy, or crying and in pain... which seemed to be what the last few weeks were all about. Still, even though they'd both been pretty miserable, they both seemed to know something... good would come out of it all. And she was very, very excited. It'd only just started to set in... she loved Sage, and she'd already started to love a little child who was barely even there... who would have been no bigger than a large seed right about then, but still there, and she was still, so, so excited. She shook her head a little bit with an amused chuckle. "Oh, don't say that! You're always helpful," she mused gently. "And I got tears all over your shirt - that couldn't have been nice," she mused lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and shrugged. "I mean I've gotten worse things on my clothes," he chuckled. Then he cocked his head slightly, in a rather curious manner. "Do I," he asked, rather surprised at the fact. "It doesn't seem like I can do very much," he hummed. "All I can do is sit there with you," he complained. "I can't take the pain away, I cant help the nausea, I can't take on all of your work even if you let me..." He sort of trailed off then, not really knowing what else to say. And, well, he did want to hear the girl's response.
