Sage snorted and rolled his eyes. "Who's the evil witch? Anya? Or her mother," he chuckled. "I think the queen would make a very good evil witch, don't you," he asked lightly, referring to her more ...scary moments when she got annoyed or angry at someone or something. Then he groaned and nodded. "I know you will. That's why I'm worried about it," he chuckled lightly. He wasn't necessarily actually worried about it, though....he was just making fun. He chuckled and nodded when she mentioned the doctor. "You're probably not too far off. It's all hell talk about. He won't get off my ass about making sure I have everything we'll need for it when it gets here," he chuckled lightly, his tone a rather fond one.

Maria chuckled and shook her head. "Anya seems perfectly fine," she hummed lightly. "I have to agree with the queen bit, though... she can be awfully scary, and I wouldn't put it passed her not to try and brew some potion up," she giggled quietly. "So we need to be kind about her... she might be listening," the young woman teased before shaking her head. She did like the queen, though... and she did hate talking so horribly about her, even though it was a little bit funny. She smiled a bit wider when he spoke of the doctor. "He just wants everything to go well. I think he knows this might be the only chance he gets to have a grandchild that's actually his son's," she sighed before gently falling back on the bed and rolling onto her side. "Unless you go and find a much healthier version of me, it might not happen again... you do know that, don't you? We might have just gotten lucky with this one." She added in a more somber tone.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment about the queen and then shrugged. "You never know," he chirped. He nodded and chuckled slightly when she mentioned the doctor. "He is plenty excited. And he likes you too," he hummed. " So he wants it all to go well." He hummed lightly and shrugged at her comments about them having been lucky. "Well, even if we only have one, that's alright. Besides, if we got lucky this time, wr could get lucky again," he hummed. "And if not, and wr really want another one, we can adopt....there's plenty of kids out there who need a loving home and family," he pointed out with a chirp. He pecked Mari on the lips lightly and cuddled up around her belly as best he could. "Don't dwell too much on it all."

The girl nodded when he mentioned the doctor... she really did like the man. She was glad he was here, because this could have been a lot harder for everyone. Well, this wouldn't even be happening if it wasn't for the doctor. She probably wouldn't have bothered to get to know Sage if it wasn't for the old man, and he was helping her plenty now too. She gave Sage a doubtful look when he said it might happen again. She doubted that fact... but if things went well with this one then there was always a possibility it could happen again. She wasn't counting on that, though. She smiled softly when he pecked her on the lips, shook her head. They could always adopt if they did want another one, and she knew that much. That did settle her mind again. When he tried to wrap around her, the girl chuckled gently before running a hand through his hair. "I'll try," she whispered, though it was a little bit hard to not to think about it.

Sage hummed lightly and chuckled slightly after a moment. "I will say, I'll be glad when it does come out of you cause then I don't get pushed out of the way when I try and cuddle," he giggled lightly, giving the girl a joking grin. It was true, yes, but he was just excited for the baby to be here, and being able to cuddle with Mari better was also nice. But still, it was nice to joke around a bit too. Especially since he knew the girl was a bit down about probably not being able to have another one. But that was alright ...they had one, and if it happened once it could happen again. Besides, trying for another one more often was definitely something he could get down for. The thought was rather amusing, really, but he was really excited for it to be born. (You can have her go into labor whenever lol)

(I'll do it in in a bit) Mari rolled her eyes at the boy before chuckling softly. "When the baby comes you might just be pushed out the bed completely. It might steal all your cuddles," she joked lightly before shaking her head and placing a light hand ont her stomach, which was moving the tiniest of bits every few seconds as the baby got itself comfortable. "It won't stop moving," she complained with a bit of a chuckle as she went to try and bury her face into the boys collar to get comfortable. Her baby bump did, admittedly make it difficult to cuddle up with the boy... but she could still reach an arm around tuck her hand under his shirt the way she normally would, so she was content for the most part... she eventually closed her eyes and got comfortable, begging herself to finally drift off to sleep.

(Yeah she's got a few days range) Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes. "I won't be kicked out of bed by an infant," he chuckled. "I'll just curl around it." He chuckled again and reached over to feel the little one shift underneath Mari's skin and hummed fondly. "It'll have a lot of energy," he hummed. "Hopefully it'll be happy just as much as it is wiggly," he chuckled. He wrapped himself around her as best he could with her larger than normal stomach and closed his eyes. He fell asleep rather quickly, more than content with how things had been going.

Mari slept pretty much through the night, though she'd started waking up earlier for... whatever reason. She tried to get back to sleep, craving nothing but rest for a while, but sleep just wouldn't come to her. She eventually did decide to get up, forcing herself to get a shower and into some clean clothes before slipping into bed behind Sage, where she cuddled into his back... she thought it was easier for her to cuddle him rather than have him trying to cuddle onto her while her stomach was in the way. As much as she loved being pregnant, she couldn't actually wait to see the child... in the next day or two, they would, hopefully.

Sage slept pretty well that night...hed been sleeping much better thanks to whatever medicine it was that the doctor had been giving him at night. He did feel a bit bad about being out cold when Mari was up through the night, but there wasn't anything he could do about that. He woke up eventually, and smiled when he noticed the girl curled around him, closing his eyes and letting himself sort of just rest there for a while.

Mari lay there for a little while, just enjoying the peace... she knew well that soon enough there'd be little to no peace, but they could enjoy the time they had left together. She groaned after a little bit and buried her face into the side of his neck. "Good morning," she whispered gently to the boy before pecking the soft skin on the side of his neck before settling down again as she got comfortable. She wasn't sure what the boy was planning for the day... but she was awfully bored, so she might just end up reading a book on the front lawn while the weather was nice.
