(Sorry I disappeared finals week was crazy and I needed the time to focus!)

Andi sort of lifted a brow at his response, he definitely didn't seem all that fine but in the end she knew he wasn't going to admit what was fully wrong. Although seeing his small smile made it a little better for her "No, I'm doing good right now" She tells him in a faint voice, it wasn't the full truth as she was still in a incredible amount of pain. There wasn't any point to complain about it though as it only made Tyler seemed stressed hearing it. Andi slowly twisted to lay on her side to face him, just being tired of laying on her back at that point. At his question she pouted slightly "Oh please don't leave me" She sort of teased trying to lighten his and her own mood. "Just kidding, go ahead and do whatever you need to do" Andi says in a low tone, taking in a deep breathe.

(That's perfectly fine, I was gone for a week pheasant hunting is south dakota so I couldn't answer even if you did lol)

Tyler was trying to keep his breathing steady, because it wanted to shoot all over the charts and get rugged then short then gasping... nothing made sense when your had was so clouded with pain the world was swirling. "Okay- I know that's a lie but I'll take your word for it. I can feel your pain Andi, we're *connected* in a way like that, since I'm supposed to guard you but I suck at that." He muttered lowly, his eyes flickering slightly as he tried to stay awake. Staying awake this long was taking a toll on him- even though he was mostly sewed up. "I don't WANT to leave you but trust me, what I'm going to do will cheer you up." Tyler smiled faintly as he stood with a wince, turning and limping/staggering/walking out the door. He got outsdie the hospital, took in a deep breath, and flew off back to the cabin. After a particulaily painful crash landing, Tyler went inside and kneeled near Jasper. "Ready for a ride, bud?" He asked the dog, petting the male dog for a moment before cradling Jasper in his arms and taking off. Back at the hospital he crash landed, this time on his back so Jasper didn't get hurt. The dog seemed fine and not-traumatized by flight, so Tyler carried him in- if Tyler continued to touch Jasper the dog would remain invisible, like him. Coming into Andi's room he set Jasper down. "Tada.."

Andi frowned and grumbled slightly at what Tyler said, she didn't like the whole connected thing and how he knew if she truly wasn't fine. It didn't seem fair but nothing about Angels seemed to be fair so she just let it go. At his last sentence she just shook her head. "You don't suck at it... I'm still here breathing and alive so I say you do you job pretty good." She said firmly, her voice raising slightly which made it a bit raspy. She wasn't very fond of hearing Tyler talk bad about himself, she really did think he did a good job of protecting her. Accidents just happened and sometimes there's things that you can't control and Tyler always blamed himself for a lot of things he couldn't control. As he stood up she sort of raised a brow "Ok but just don't hurt yourself anymore" She said, her tone full of caution as he starte to walk out of the room. As he left she let out a heavy sigh, not liking the silence that had suddenly settled into the room. Andi looked around the room trying to find something that she could do to keep her mind active but there was nothing to do beside think... and that was the worst thing to do. After what seemed like an hour of Tyler being gone she looked over at the door as it opened up. Immeadiately a smile came to her face as she shot up, which was a horrible idea as pain swelled through her body. "Jasper my good boy!" She cooed to the dog as he jumped on the bed and came over to her. Andi pulled the dog close burying her head onto his scruff as she pet him, this was exactly what she needed at the moment.

Tyler sat heavily in the chair and vowed not to get up again, making sure he was still toucing Jasper so that the dog didn't suddenly just become visible. He could only imagine the nurse's reaction. A slight smile came to Tyler's face as this gesture seemed to cheer Andi up... that's all he really wanted to do at this point. Well, and staying living might be an upside because that'd cheer her up as well. Even though Andi's words comforted him, there was no way he could take it to heart- he would always feel terrible for the things that went wrong, not only becaue he was failing his job but more because he cared about her and she was getting hurt. Tyler wished more than anything that he could just take all her pain away and inflict it on himself instead. Yes, it would be better if it left entirely, but that would never happen.

Jasper wiggled around in Andi's arms for a long while before settling down, both him and Andi were close beside the edge of the bed where Tyler was so he could keep his hand on Jasper. Andi made sure he could keep his hand on him as it seemed important. After a long while of just having her face buried she brought it up slightly, a small smile was still settled on her face. Having Jasper there now along with Tyler made everything tolerable in that room. The beeping from the machine didn't bother her, neither did the pain hurt as much anymore as she finally was happy. Andi turned her attention over to Tyler who was slumpted in the chair "Thank you, Tyler" She whispered quietly to him with a gentle smile. He always seemed to know the right things to do, whether it was because he was her angel or he just knew her well it didn't matter he just always seemed to know how to cheer her up.

Tyler suddenly heard a quiet, whispering voice. "look what you did. Look at your little Andi, laying in a hospital because you decided to be weak and give into your pain. Did it ever occur to you she may not ever leave? You try so hard just to fail... but I've given you too much slack. Wings, mind reading powers, slight healing powers- I'm astonished you haven't done more. As a punishment, try being fully human for a while. I'm sure you will fail in just the Same ways. Tata!" The voice cut out, and Tyler was left flabbergasted, confused, angry, and upset. Suddenly he felt like a part of him was being ripped away, on top of all the other pain. "Ohhh crap..." he mumbled before blacking out as the pain became unbearable. The only reason he hadn't died yet was because he still was technically an angel and he was constantly healing himself, if not very slowly. It was like painkillers, so the pain he had been in was nothing compared to what just slammed him as he became... human. No wings. No powers. No mind reading. Just like Andi... a completely normal human.

Andi was turned her focus back on Jasper who had turned himself on his back and was asking for belly rubs. She smiled as she look down at the dog when suddenly she heard Tyler mumbled. She slowly looked over at him not thinking much but when she saw him just suddenly passed out she filled with a bit of worry. "Tyler?" She said sort of worriedly, she never seen him pass out so fast... Scratch that she has but it was from extreme pain so that sent a wave of panic over her. She shifted herself with a groan to the side of the bed, letting her feet touch the ground. Andi took her one working arm and shook Tyler gently "Hey... Tyler wake up for a moment... please" Her voice a bit shakey as she wasn't getting a good feeling from this.

Usually when you fall asleep (or pass out), the pain leaves because you are unconscious. In this case, the pain was so great Tyler's body couldn't decide what to do. It passed out from the pain, but now it wanted to wake back up because passing out didn't get rid of the pain. After it woke up it wanted to pass out again because the pain increased. The summary? His body was literally panicking because it had never felt this before, and every single one of his cells was being rearranged, plus all the normal pain from everything he had endured. Tyler's brain as getting so flooded with pain signals, kind of like a million red lights flashing in front of your eyes and ten million sirens going off right in his ears. His body had absolutely no idea what to do so it was trying to shut down- he was going longer without breathing and his heartbeat started to sound irregular, cutting out every now and then. When Andi grabbed his arm he snapped awake from the sheer pain of that small movement, letting out a small gasp. "A-angels.. m-me... h-human..." He managed to creep out, his breathing quickening before slowing again and his eyes drifted shut, his pulse slowing considerably.

Andi flinched back as Tyler jerked awake from her touch, she held her breath as he spoke... Well more like muttered weakly. She completely froze not knowing what he could possibly mean by that. Had he completely gone crazy.. How could he be human.. Those three simple words left millions of question for her.. Andi suddenly shook her head getting out of her rabbit hole of thoughts as she looked over Tyler. His breathing seemed slow and his body just look limp, no movement at all besides a few twitches and his muscles spasming in his arms most likely from extreme pain. Just that sight alone sent panic through her mind, she frantically wanted to help but there was nothing she could do without getting too involved and hurting herself. She also knew there was no way this was a "suck it up" situation for Tyler and she didn't want to take the chance of losing him so she did the next best thing. Andi carefuly but quickly leaned back in the bed, reaching her one good arm abover her head to grab the remote for the bed. Her ribs were screaming at her at that point as stretching out like that was not the best idea but it was important in the moment. As soon as she grabbed the remote and shifted her way back up with a grunt, letting out a grunt as her ribs were still scolding her. She quickly pressed the nurse button, over and over and over again, wanting to make sure the nurses got there fast and if Tyler really was human like he had muttered then this was the best option for him, he coudl be mad at her later if he didn't like it. Soon enough two nurses came into the room, their faces annoyed as can be, Andi quickly points over to Tyler "Help him please..." Her voice loud but raspy still and as the nurses looked over their faces go from annoyed to shocked as they went straight to Tyler and start to check him over. Soon enough they had two more nurses in their to help them and were wheeling him out in a wheelchair where Andi could only assume was another room.
