Andi looked up past Durly just in time to see a man jump out with a gun. She froze looking at him, why did he have a gun.. was he gonna shot everyone... should she run... Suddenly he put the gun away introducing herself. She scolded herself a bit for not recognizing it as the Headmaster, she said mumbled something to herself well at least she thought she mumbled it "That idiot almost shot us" Her gaze was cold as she looked at the headmaster wondering why he would react like that, shouldn't he have known that they were gonna be there

Martin tipped his head, hearing what the girl in the corner said. "Ah but madam I'm not an idiot, and I don't shoot at stuff I don't want to. I'm guessing you are Andi?" He asked with another smile, turning his attention to the girl that spoke... and gazing around the room to see if he recognized anyone else. When his gaze fell on Tyler his smile widened into a grin.

Tyler was still flabbergasted... but a small smile came onto his face as Martin looked at him. He would have to go talk to the guy afterward.... if Tyler had a 'hero', it would be Martin. He tipped his head slightly before focusing his cold gaze on the girl that spoke. How DARE she insult Martin like that? Wasn't one of the rules LITERALLY respect the Headmaster?

Andi lifted her head a bit high, she was a bit embarrassed to know she said it out loud but didn't let it show. She decided to not try and insult him any further so she wouldn't get in trouble the first day "Yeah I am... Sorry for the rude comment I just don't liek havign a gun pointed at me, if you can understand that" Her gaze was still cold looking at him, she already knew that it was going to be a long first year if he was going to be headmaster. She looked around getting a weird feeling someone was looking at her from behind. She scanned the kids finally laying eyes on a tall boy, he looked well built and had a death stare on her. She didn't let tht stir her at all thoug hshe returned a death stare before turning back looking forward

Martin laughed aloud, his voice deep and resonant... but with a touch to it that his eyes had. The slightly wild stare... like he was thinking something you Did not want to know. "Oh don't apologize.... but I wasn't pointing my gun at you. If you didn't know alright, I am a crack shot which means I always know who I a, pointing my gun at." He winked, but the wink was almost more directed at Tyler. Martin cleared his throat, glancing around the kids with a grin. "Well, I suppose I have to do whatever the speech is. So... welcome to the academy, you will be training with dragons... da dada.... blah blah blah..." Martin was reading a letter. He rolled his eyes and put the letter in his pocket. "Pro tip everyone... don't die! You will go to your dorms then we will have food. One more tip... look amazing. The cooler things you do the more I WONT talk to you, and at that moment I'm sure that's what everyone wants! See y'all later!" Martin grinned, clapping his big hands and sauntering up to Tyler afterward. "How are you doing! It's been a long time since I saw you... how the heck did you grow so tall?" Martin chuckled, shaking hands with Tyler

Tyler's smile grew a little bit bigger as Martin gave his speech. THAT was definitely the Martin HE knew. Tyler waited as Martin walked up to him, then shook the man's hand. "It's nice to see you, too. I grew big enough to tower over you, that's the only reason why." Tyler grinned... even though he was only a couple inches taller than Martin.

Andi slightly rolled her eyes, she was already done with the man that was talking to her. She zoned out not even listening to him, as soon as he clapped his hands and the other kids talking buzzed around she zoned back in. She glanced at Durly "Well see at dinner then" She quickly walked off pulling a letter out of her bag, it had all the information she needed including her dorm number. She walked through the halls finally finding dorm 35. Walking into the dorm she looked around noticing her roomate wasn't there yet. Andi picked the biggest room in the dorm seeing it was first come first serve, she got all her stuff unpacked and set up her room trying to make it seem like home

Martin chuckled and nodded to Tyler. "Okay Tyler, I'll see you at supper." He smiled and strode off, his pace almost more of a swagger.

Tyler smiled slightly and watched Martin walk off before shouldering his one bag. He would have fun talking to... Andi. She seemed a lot like him, and the fact that she actually glared back... made Tyler think she might be more interesting than he first thought. He walked into the building, checking his dorm number and entering. Tyler saw that Durly wasn't there yet, so he picked the smallest room, putting down his single bag. Tyler then closed the door to that room and strode out, already going down to supper.

Andi finally finished up, she walked out of her dorm and down the hall towards the dinner hall. She took slight detours heading down different halls looking at the all the different halls. She felt like a little girl inside a huge castle, it was her dream to be here ever since she was kid and now her dream came true. She added a little skip to her walk before finally reaching the dinner hall, she went back to walking normally putting a cold stare on her face so hopefully no one wanted to come talk to her. She picked a table that hand no one there waiting to be told that dinner was ready to go and get

Martin entered the room with a small smile on his face. He had no idea Tyler was going to be here... and that really did cheer him up. Martin knew everybody was going to hate him because he WAS a little crazy, and his personality was... different. That thought made him feel kind of lonely, so he was thankful for Tyler. Martin walked over and sat down at a table in the back, glancing around to see the girl that insulted him was the only one there. What was her name again? Oh yes, Andi. He averted his gaze and looked at the table, waiting for other people to come in before he said they could get food.

Tyler strode through the halls, glancing around. He decided to take a little detour and explore the castle before going to eat, so that's what's he did. Tyler got distracted in the Weapon room... some of those weapons were really cool. He especially liked the throwing ones... the swords... and the daggers. They were all perfectly made... so graceful... Tyler couldn't WAIT to use them.

Andi watched Martin walk in, she held back a scoff -of course he had to be the first one in here after me...- She laid her head on the table just wanting the day to be over with. She was exhausted from all the excitement from the day and it also meant that she was more agitated so her first impressions were probably not going to be the best. She closed her eyes just waiting and listening for the next person to walk in

Martin glanced up with an amused smile. "Well my first impression on this student was obviously amazing. She thinks I'm crazy! Which is true, to some extent... but she also hates me." Martin mused quietly to himself, his icy blue eyes twinkling. He glanced in the direction of the doorway, hearing footsteps so quiet they could only belong to someone trained to walk quietly. "Come sit over here, Tyler!" Martin called, his deep voice booming out over the large room

Tyler decided it was time to go eat. He strode in the direction of the dining hall, making sure his footsteps were quiet... but when he heard Martin's voice he laughed. Obviously not quiet enough for the trained Marine to not hear them. He entered and glanced at Andi before walking over and sitting down near Martin. "So... who all is coming to the academy?" Tyler asked, tipping his head as he looked at the older man
