Andi looked up a bit startled by Martin's loud voice. She glanced over at the door wondering who he was calling too. As soon as Tyler walked through the door she rolled her eyes -guess that's the headmasters favorite.. better steer clear of him...- She glanced around seeing that no one else was really walking into the hall. She got up walking out deciding to explore the halls more instead of sitting in there with the other two

Martin glanced up as Andi left. He realized... if she really hated him that much, she might start hating Tyler because of him. That wasn't good. Martin's face turned a little worried as he watched Andi leave. "I'm... sorry Tyler, but I have to go." He said quietly, tipping his head to Tyler before standing up and exiting the room. He strode down the hall, quickly catching up to Andi. "Excuse me, Andi?" Martin asked, hoping she actually stopped. "I do want to apologize for the gun incident. I'm sorry, I am a little jumpy and I forgot you all were coming today, not tomorrow. I know you most definitely think I'm an idiot, and that's fine with me... but please give Tyler a chance. He isn't a bad kid, and he really does want to make friends... even though he is a little prickly at times. I'm asking you a favor, just don't hate Tyler because you hate me, okay?" Martin asked her. His icy blue eyes flashed in the darkness, almost amusingly. Martin was half doing this because he didn't want Tyler to Be hated by Andi because of him, and half doing it because he knew Tyler probably didn't want friends and this was his way of teasing Tyler. Martin looked at Andi, waiting for her answer. His thin framed swayed a little to the side as he tipped his head

Tyler looked slightly confused As Martin left abruptly. "What did I do...?" Tyler wondered quietly, a very small tendril of loneliness creeping in already. He sighed slightly and stared at his hands, waiting for Martin to come back

Andi didn't turn around when she heard foot steps behind her but she did stop when she heard Martin call after her. She froze and turned around thinking -crap what did I do...- She looekd at him with a emotionless face as she lsitened to what he had to say. She paused for a moment holding her breathe as soon as he stopped talking. She finally let out a long breath before speaking "It's okay, I also have to apologize for calling you an idiot... I can come off a bit rude at first and I don't hate you I was annoyed cause you called me out. I may dwell on things like that..." She fiddled with her hands trying to figure out what to say about Tyler "I will give him a chance, just don't expect me to get along with him right away" She put her gaze up examining Martin now that he was close, he had nice deep blue eyes that looked gentle but at the same time could kill you with one angry glare. She looked him up and down slowly waiting to see how he'd respond to her

Martin listened to what Andi said. He seemed to relax slightly. "I don't expect you to hang out with him or anything, I just don't want you to act angrily toward him. Thank you." Martin nodded briskly, turning on his heel and striding back towards the dining hall. He would have to call to eat soon, so he had better be there. He entered the big room and glanced around. Martin didn't even see the loudspeaker device right there, he just used his louder then normal voice. "Y'all get down here if you want to eat!" Martin bellowed, his deep voice reaching up through the walls and to the dorms on the second floor, and the first floor. He ran a hand through his ... fluffy hair, then walked down to Tyler. "Sorry I can't eat with you. Someone might get mad." Martin said quietly, tipping his head to Tyler before walking up to go make sure the food was all ready. He got a plate for himself, going to sit in a dark table in the corner that was covered with shadows.

Tyler watched Martin walk back in. "That's fine... I'll see you later." Tyler smiled and tipped his head, watching the man walk off. Martin was like a father to him... their relationship went back to the day Tyler was born Martin was there. His first birthday... there was Martin. His second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth.... all the way to his seventeenth birthday, Martin was always there. Granted most of the time he arrived there with dangerous gifts like axes, and he was usually injured in some terrible way... Martin was always there. Tyler sighed as he watched the man go sit down in the corner. He stood up and got some food, returning to the table he had chosen.

Andi nodded as if to say 'no problem', she walked back with him to the supper hall, she glanced over at Tyler as she walked in -Why did he come out of his way to make sure I didn't hate this boy... He must be special to him or something..- She huffed looking around, her spot had been taken by another student, she looked around the room trying to fidn another spot finally settling on leaning against the back wall not wanting to sit next to any other of the lively students. She glanced up at Martin who announced dinner was ready, she waited a bit letting a good handful of other people get a plate before she went up to get food. After she got food she looked back around the room, the table that was mostly empty was... Tyler's she sighed walking over to his table and sat down not saying a word or lookign at him.

Tyler glanced up, seeing Andi looking like... a storm cloud as she walked towards his table. He looked around, seeing all the others were full. Most of the other people were too scared to sit at his table, so his table was empty. He kept his face emotionless and finished his food quickly, standing up and striding towards the dorms. Tyler stopped near Martin on the way out. "It was nice seeing you... maybe when I get some time off we can hang out." Tyler said quietly, leaving the room. He went out to his dorm, going into the small room that he had claimed for his own.

Martin glanced up as he finished his food. He nodded at Tyler as the boy spoke, then watched him leave. Martin stood and glanced at everyone, most of them still eating. "Once you are done eating please return to your dorms... your schedule starts tomorrow, nice and early!" Martin called, his loud voice ringing out around the room. He glanced around one more time before turning and walking out to the battle arena. Martin stopped in the sand, taking a breath before practicing some moves he had been working on. He then found a sword and practiced more moves... they all came easily to him, considering he had started in the army when he was sixteen, moved up to the marines when he was 20, worked in the Seals for a couple years, and was on a secret board called 'The Phoenix' which was pretty much an assasin board for the war.

Andi mostly picked aroudn at her food, she wasn't super hungry neither did the food look appetiezing to her. She glanced as Tyler got up and walked away she let out a sight pushing her food away and slumping onto the table. She stayed still as Martin's voice boomed through the hall, after a minute she finally stood up throwing all the food out and making her way to her dorm. She walked into her room getting changed into more comfortable clothes, she looked out her window at the stables. Andi eyes lite up as she got an idea, she looked at the clock it was already 11pm but she didn't care. She opened her window quietly hopping out, it was easy since she was on the first floor, looking around to make sure no one was out there she swiftly made her way over to the stables.

Martin stopped in the middle of a sword swing as he heard... very loud footsteps. That's how he knew it wasn't Tyler. Someone was sneaking out.. or in... that didn't know how to be perfectly quiet. This person was better than most, though. He put the sword down and put a hand on his holster, creeping forward with perfect silence. Martin heard the person in the Stables, and the thought crossed his mind that it COULD be a disobedient student... so he didn't pull his gun out just yet. Instead he stepped around the corner, surprised to see Andi. "Well hello, Andi." Martin said cheerfully, his icy blue eyes glinting in the darkness. "How are you this night? Let me guess... the food wasn't the best?" He asked, tipping his head slightly. Martin let a small smile come to his face... he could've guessed it was Andi. He crossed his arms over his chest, raising his eyebrows.

Andi made her way into the stable slowly down, she strode over to Death's stall he let out a crackling sound as if saying 'Hello'. She smiled hearing the crackle "Well hello to you too" Her mood automatically changed when she heard a familiar loud voice, she jumped a looking over at Martin. Death peered his head out of the stall looking at Martin, he opened his mouth slightly letting sparks fly out of it. Andi quickly but softly smacked Death "Cut it out it's okay" He sank back into his stall. she glanced back at Martin "Uh hi... I'm fine and yeah just not used to having a meal outside of home" She sounded hesitant but her face told a completely different story as she had a strong confident gaze. She looked at Death then back at Martin "I just wanted to check up on Death here y'know since he's a super sensitive dragon, I hope thats okay" She smiled slightly hoping that he would let her off easy, meanwhile Death snorted at what Andi said almost sounding offended

Martin glanced at Death with a smile. "My first comment is I like your dragon." He said gruffly, his eyes twinkling. "I do understand not liking the food here... as you can probably see, I don't eat enough, and between us... the chefs here don't cook enough." Martin winked. He was just playing around with Andi, almost trying to get her nervous... that's just how he was. A jokester and a prankster, that's how he was described... when people weren't calling him crazy. "It is fine for now, since this is the first day... but please don't come out after 11 again." Martin nodded, turning his back and striding out. He went back to the battle arena and continued honing his moves, not wanting to get out of shape just because they kicked him out of the army because he was 'too old'
