That's why? They are only pups, and it's not their fault they have strange powers! Selena thought. Seeing that Fang was irritated, she bowed again and said, "Well, I must not be in your way any longer. I'm sure you have many important things to attend to." She walked away and stopped at the center of the camp. Noticing that Valor was sleeping, she decided to go to her favorite place and think about what Fang had said, and to find out what she could do for the unfortunate pups. She walked out of the camp and, after a few minutes, arrived at a little pond where trees provided shade, and the flowers bloomed everywhere. She dropped down on a tall grassy area and mulled over the day's events in her mind.

A few minutes after Selena was gone, Valor woke up and exited his den. Now I might be able to give the report of the battle to Fang. I'm sure he'd be happy to hear it. He thought as he walked around, looking for Fang. Not long after, he saw Fang in the distance, and ran towards him, saying, "Fang, I have come to give you the report of the battle. Would you like to hear it now? It won't take long."

Fang nodded and said "Lets hear it." He could tell that his best warrior was excited about his report so he allowed the male to report

Valor sat down and began his report. "I was on patrol with some other warriors when we came across a group of loners in the pack's territory. We told them to leave, but they refused. Upon hearing their refusal, we attacked. Two of us went to the left, two to the right, and two in the center. The loners didn't have much fighting experience, so a few minutes after the battle started, the loners retreated. I sent a smaller patrol to make sure they left."

Fang nodded and said "Did they have a aura of a speacial wolf around them." He said Speacial as though it was like eating a rotting carcass

Valor shook his head and said, "No. They were normal wolves. Why would they be any different than the the wolves in the pack?" He was confused. Why would loners have special powers? Why would any wolf have powers? He looked at Fang, hoping the alpha would explain.

"You know the wolves in the prison den? They have speacial powers. Wait here." He said and walked into the prison den and grabbed Snowflake

Snowflake yelped as Fang grabbed her by the scruff and was taken out of the den.

"This pup is one of the speacial wolves." He told Valor as he pinned one foot on Snowflakes pure white wing

Valor didn't approve of the way Fang handled the pup, but he didn't want to anger the alpha, so he said, "I've never seen a wolf like her before. She certainly does look like she could be related to Apollo. Who else was famous for having wings?" Not wishing to stress the frightened pup further, he summoned up some courage and said, "Do you need to be so rough with the little one? She looks harmless."

Right at that moment Snowflake had twisted quickly out of Fangs grasp and snarled.

Fang immediatly grabbed Snowflake and put her back in the prison den

Valor was startled by the winged pup's sudden movements, and he watched as Fang brought her back into the prison den. "I guess she isn't as harmless as I thought." He said once Fang came back. Looking around, he noticed Selena wasn't in the camp, so he asked, "Where is Selena? Wasn't she here a couple minutes ago?" He still wanted to tell Selena about the battle, and despite all that had just happened, he hadn't forgotten his promise.

"I belive that she went into the forest." Fang mused
