Trent had been out in the barn, grooming Phila, when his phone rang. He picked up eagerly, always excited to talk to his best friend. But as Kai explained to him what had happened, his face fell, and a sudden fear gripped his heart. He quickly promised to be there as soon as possible and hung up. He ran to the tackroom to grab Phila's tack. He knew how much Titan meant to Kai. The bond and meaning between them reached far beyond a simple bond between a horse and rider. Phila was being troublesome that day, and insisted on nipping whatever she could as Trent sped through her tacking up. He was ready withing minutes, despite Phila's behavior. He ran to the house to grab some snacks and water. A hoofpick, halter and leadrope were also thrown into his saddle bag. He wasn't sure what they were going to do exactly, but it was best to be prepared. He sprung onto Phila's back and urged her forward, directing her down a trail towards Kai's property. Thank goodness he lived a short ride away from Kai's farm. He pushed Phila into a canter, not wanting to risk anything on the uneven path. It took about ten minutes to reach the farm, though it felt like hours to Trent. As he exited the woods and neared the house and barn, he could already see flashing police lights. The nervous fear gripped him harder and he felt his stomach turn. He slowed Phila and patted her neck gently. She was giving the strangers a nervous look. He slipped out of the saddle and tied Phila to a hitching post by the barn. He ran quickly towards the people and called out his friend. "Kai!" He spotted her and ran forward grabbing her arm. "Are you okay?" he questioned immediately. Looking her over for injuries. He could immediately see the pain and fear in her eyes. He swallowed hard, hating to see his friend in such sorrow. "We're gonna find him and beat the asses of whoever took him." he said softly. Squeezing Kai's shoulder gently.

"The police said t-that horses have been going missing all over town, I'm glad they didn't get to you first" replied the worried girl as she looked around, then back at Trent. "Have you hear anything from the others?" Kai questioned as the comfort of her best friend got to her; her breathing starting to grow calmer.

Spartan looked at Trent, a snort is all he could give. Having seen this guy before he wasn't as bothered. Though he hadn't seen the mare as often, giving the fact he was never brought on trail rides with them; he preferred to be alone. He turned towards the mare, looking her up and down with flicking ears, his eyes full of curiosity. "Thanks for coming so quickly" a faint voice said. It happened to be Kai's, but he wasn't too interested about the conversation that came upon the humans.

It was a cool spring day at the barn, and maggie was enjoying it so much that she had tacked up dynamo, and gone for a hack. When Maggie dismounted her horse, unknowing, thinking that It was a perfect day to sit in her kitchen and read for hours, she saw three missed calls from kai, and one from trent. These calls were unusual for them, so maggie immediately went to call them back, after trent answered his phone and delivered the news, Maggie stood there, in shock. How could this have happened to Kai, of all people? But what Maggie was most shocked about was the description of what happened...

As soon as Maggie realised what was happening, she put dynamo's bridle back on, not bothering with a saddle for fear of losing time. she hopped up onto Dynamo's back and took off cantering down the path to kai's house, thankfully she lived only a short distance from kai and was practically neighbors with trent. As soon as maggie arrived, she jumped down from her sweaty horse, and walked him over to Kai and Trent, to then tie him up next to phila, as they quite liked each other. Maggie ran up to Kai and hugged her, then going to trent to ask about the full story. Maggie immediately tried to reassure Kai that they would find the criminals, so that she could tell them that she knew the theive's tactic. "It'll be okay, we will find him."

Kai's eyes soon came upon a familiar face. It was Maggie! Quickly wrapping her arms around her she smiled. There was something about Maggie to Kai that made her "different" from the others. Obviously they were just friends, but whenever Maggie was around Kai felt a comforting feeling. It could have been just Maggie's vibe, but Kai never stopped to think too much about it until Maggie was actually around. "Thanks for coming so quickly, both of you..." the frightened female stated. She looked over at Dynamo, who happened to not have a saddle on. "D-Did something happen to the two of you on your way here?" Asked the female with a worried look.

Trenton shook his head, "No not yet, I called Maggie before I left, but I haven't heard anything back." he said. Barely finishing before Maggie ran up to them. "Hi Maggie." Trent greeted her, happy to see her, but upset by the circumstances. "Of course Kai, nothing will ever stop me from being here!" he said earnestly. In truth, nothing in the world could keep away from his friends, especially when they needed him. He turned his gaze to Maggie and Dynamo when Kai pointed out the missing saddle. "You and Dynamo are okay right?" he asked Maggie, emphasizing Kai's question. Phila was standing calmly at the post, quitely observing the crowd. It was definitely not something she saw every day, but she knew Trent would never take her anywhere harmful. Her eyes fell on another horse, she didn't know him, except for a few sniffs when walking by. His curious gaze was met by Phila's pondering look, trying to figure out why he was looking at her. Her thoughts were interupted when Dynamo joined her at the hitching post. She gave the horse a soft nicker in greeting and turned her attention to the grass by the post.

Snorting again, Spartan noticed another horse join in on the crowd. Turning back to the humans, he sniffed the shoulder of another female that happened to appear. He hadn't seen her before; at least not up close. He hair reminded him of grass, Kai noticed immediately what he was doing and grabbed another apple slice. She handed it to him behind her back, removing his head from her hair to stop him from eating Maggie's hair. She then turned back to her two friend. "Did you guys happen to pass maybe a trailer with a horse in it about Titan's size? Maybe some people going after a heard of horses? The police think that the thieves might be taking him to a herd of horses to try and make him blend in." Kai asked am with a scared yet patient tone of voice.
Quickly, Spartan snatched the apple from Kai's hand and ate it. He then lowered his head to the ground to sniff a small patch of grass. Fluttering his lips until he got a grip he pulled up some grass and lifted his head. Quickly swallowing the grass his eyes follow a small rabbit into its hole.

Auxedeia was seated outside her home watching the few horses on her property including Alcina relax in a nearby pasture they were always in for turn out, After she received a phone call from her dear friend Kai she was shocked to hear Alcina's boy was stolen and quickly told Kai she'd be over in a few minutes. After hanging up she raced inside grabbing some of her belongings and the keys to her truck before getting Alcina ready and in the trailer a few of her items packed up on the back seat of the vehicle, Once the mare was settled she did up the float and headed out of course letting her partner know first.

The drive was only fifteen minutes as she did speed a bit with her being the furthest from Kai's home, The few acres of property was far off as it was the only one large enough for the house she wanted to build and gave the horses quite a bit of land to rotate on through the seasons. Finally arriving at Kai's home she checked the camera's in the trailer to see if Alcina was okay before she raced out to check if Kai was okay, Running up she went around the police before greeting Kai with a hug as a tear threatened to break loose. Auxedeia loved Titan too as her mare Alcina brought him into this world
