Alexis heard the announcement from inside of her room as she sat on the floor petting Raider. She was not technically a competitor in the competition, but she was the judge, so she stood up and walked out of her room. She went and took the stairs, Raider was walking right beside her as they came into the cafeteria. She looked at the other humans and dogs as she walked towards a seat. Raider turned his head to get eyes on all of the dogs, most dogs loved to go play, and Raider would if he was in the mood, but overall he wasn't a very playful dog. He went with Alexis and then sat beside her chair.

Taxi laid by her owners side, chewing on the small paw. It all wet and some of her fur messed up. Her nose went right to the sky as Raider entered the room. She sprang forward, at the lady. Stopping at her toes as she sat. Breathing quickly, and placing her paw onto Alexis. Her eyes and head turned to look at Raider.

Charles chuckled, shaking his head at the small border collie. He grew a smile looking up to Alexis. " Hello, how do you do day Alexis? "

Philip called Apollo and he came running from playing with the other dogs overexcited to sitting on Philip's hand nudging it to try to get him to respond. Eventually he woke up from his daze and asked "Is that everyone Charles?" For a moment he forgot about the doings at home and just enjoyed being with people that he didnt see. Philip could see that all the dogs were well-behaved and more show dog than partner in crime but he kept Apollo in his lap,Apollo's little eyes peering in comfort up at him.

Philip stared around at people and then smiled at Charles and his dog,Taxi "So what is it you have been wanting to say Charles? " he asked. Then he whispered to Apollo "Good boy you can play later."

He straightened up snd looked at Charles

Charles sat for a second, reaching his hand over his shoulder to reach an itch on his back. Before his eyes wents right back to Phillip. Thinking for a minute, he put his finger to his lip and sighed. " Not everybody, but i guess the show sha'll go on " He groans, before standing. Grabbing his small metal water bottle, and tapping it loudly with a plastic fork that was on the table. " Excuse me everybody, i'd like to announce that you all will be givin' keys to all the rooms, including. Pools, agility rooms, your own rooms, and you may find out more you can discover later. But remember, you all have come for one mission. But only one can walk away with the title. " He smiles, sitting back down calmly. As the Taxi wondered back over to her human, squeezing her way under the chair

Philip bit his bottom lip at the word keys and mouthed Don't be hyper DONT parade with the K word in your mouth. Philip stared at Apollo with his blue eyes and Apollo stared back with his deep

brown eyes... Suddenly Apollo showed his excitement for the word keys and began sprinting around in a mad circle looking for the keys. He leaped off Philip's lap pranced in a circle jumped up onto Chsrle's lap sniffed his pockets then leaped down snd he did the same o everyone in he room. Then he went to the dog and half at them until Philip could get his dog's attention. Philip called Apollo "No Apollo I have your k word Charles not anyone else has them" with that he whipped out a set of keys that Apollo liked to have as Philip first saw him with them in the streets. Philip sighed slightly embarrassed "Sorry he is Just obsessed with K-e-y-s" he laughed slightly nervously and slightly awkwardly

Charles sighed, rubbing the top of his head. Rasing his hands up quickly as the dog jumped up and began to sniffed around. He pondered the thought in his head for a second what was so special about the word keys that would make a dog do such a thing? But he didn't hold that thought for long, before Taxi went over and nipped at Apollo's tip of his tail. Charles shook his head with a small rumble in his throat as a laugh. Shaking his head slowly he replied to the man throwing his hands back down onto the table softly. " Its a-okay. Not the first time a dog has had a favorite word"

Leah was listening kind of absentmindedly to Charles speak, telling them about the competition. She heard him say the word pool and Belka seemed to perk up.

She smiled and reached down to pet the dogs head.

"No going swimming, sorry girl," she whispered.
Belka loved swimming and it was hard to keep her away from it. Leah herself however did not like it much, she was never a very strong swimmer and she always stayed near the edge.

When Charles had finished speaking and sat down, Leah looked around and studied the other competitors and the dogs. She recognized Philip and Apollo, whose room was right next to hers. She thought she had seen Amberle once and looking at the map realized that Amberles room was near Leahs, right on the other side of Philip.

She saw one of the other dogs getting excited, Apollo she believed his name was, and laughed. Belka was getting fidgety so she made her way over to the people to get her keys.

(So sorry, My two brothers and my sisters softball season started and so I have been covering for them a lot at work and overall haven't been on here much. I am finally on top of everything and can be on more! I an typing up a reply now!)

Alexis was sitting in her chair when she heard the announcement. She watched the dog get excited and thought about when she had gotten Raider. As a puppy he would go nuts when the word 'ball' was spoken, even now he gets excited, but he doesn't lost his mind anymore. She stood up and walked over to get the keys, Raider stood up and walked right beside her.
