Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker! 🎉🎉🎉 ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty slipped off her boots and socks and dipped her feet into the clear water. Fish darted away, but when they realized she wasn't a threat, they swam slowly back, as if they were enjoying the beauty too. Liberty looked up at the sky. It was darkening slightly, and a few pink rays split the sky in the West. Liberty looked back down to earth and saw Ryker walk Dash into the water. They sat still for a few seconds, then Ryker broke the silence. Liberty felt something weird bubbling up inside her. It was like... butterflies that were at the pit of her stomach, resting, but suddenly burst up and into her heart. Liberty suddenly couldn't see Ryker, the waterfall, or anything. All she saw was bright spots. Then the world slowly came back. Ryker was looking away again, but the weird butterfly feeling was still there. But it a little more settled then before. Liberty looked back down at her feet. An awkward silence followed. "Well... it's getting dark. Wanna go in for dinner?" Liberty still didn't look up at Ryker. She knew that if she did that strange yet wonderful feeling would come back. She didn't know if she wanted that yet. She wasn't ready. |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty! [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty - Ryker didn't understand- no, refused to understand the butterflies in his stomach and the feeling that seemed to be squeezing his hearts to bits. He gripped Dash's mane for a moment before letting out a slow breath. Everything was perfect and beautiful, but he tried not to look anywhere but the ground until Liberty spoke. He didn't really register her words for a second before they clicked. +Answer+ he thought, commanding his mouth to move. ".. yeah. Yeah, that would be great." He finally answered, blinking once or twice before lifting his gaze and walking Dash out back towards the barn. Ryker dared glance up at Liberty, and honestly he didn't know why he was thinking this now, but her face was framed so prettily by the sun. +agh, what is my brain doing?!+ he thought, shaking his head and looking back at the trail. |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker! ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty forced herslef to take deep breaths. The air was clean and cool in her lungs, and it calmed her down a little. When Ryker said going back would be great, Liberty could breathe even more easily. She stood up, still looking at the ground, and put on her socks and boots again. She found Dahlia munching on some dandelions, and, grabbing her mane, swung up. As she did so, she had to glance up to get her balance. There was Ryker, sitting on Dash, looking embarrassed and confused. Somehow this made him look even cuter. Liberty had to shake her hapead and close her eyes, the thought was so rediculous. Stop it, Liberty! It's just your brain. Nothing is wrong with you. Liberty gulped, and felt the butterflies in her heart again. She opened her eyes but this time directed them to look at the trees and sky, not straight ahead of her. |

Ryker Rivera [] Male [] 16 [] CR: Liberty [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty - Ryker was a little irritated and confused with himself. Why was he feeling like this now? Why did he have to ruin a perfectly normal evening? He had never, literally NEVER, thought this about anyone before. At this point he just wanted to boot his brain and find a new one. He was NOT going to RUIN a friendship because of a STUPID... well... grrrr. Crush that happened in 3 seconds. He was 16 for Pete crying out loud, he should be able to think by now. However, after a couple moments he realized he was just sitting on Dash and staring at the ground blankly while he thought, so he snapped out of it and twisted his features back to normal. Normal. He had to think normal. "What's your favorite food? A little while ago I was forced by someone to do a survey in school and it was extremely surprising how many people answered Ice Cream. Like, that's not a real food, try again." He cracked a small smile, although he still didn't let his eyes flit towards Liberty. |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - It helped to look at the ground, even though it was brown and unbelieveably boring. Dahlia was on her side. She walked along at a gentle pace, alert if she felt Liberty might slip off her back. Liberty was grateful for it. She nearly did fall when Ryker asked her what her favorite food was. Why was he talking? Couldn't he see she was a little... off? It's not his fault. He was just trying to make friendly conversation. Don't blame him for trying to talk to you, she told herself, then risked a glance up and to her right. The blue sky was slowly turning to black, but purples, oranges, and pinks were slowly taking over as well. Liberty reminded herself to breathe again, then answered. "Well... I like tacos. And bread. But they're probably not my favorite. I don't think I have a favorite food." Liberty was feeling closer to normal, so she tried a small joke. "But my favorite food is definitely NOT radishes. But you know that already." Liberty couldn't help looking towards him when she mentioned Ryker, and when she did, the strange feeling came back. Arg, what is happening to me?! she wondered, as she looked quickly back down at the ground. They were nearing the barn, and Liberty was anxious to get to the mess hall and blend in with everybody before going to bed. |

Rkyer Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Totally 100 Percent Liberty [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty - Ryker wasn't sure if he should have spoken, and a quick glance at Liberty told him he shouldn't have. Her face was twisted with way to many negative emotions. Had he done that? He ducked his head slightly with concern and a bit of sadness, not wanting him to be a problem for her. As she answered he cleared his throat to reply. "A favorite food is hard to say." He said quietly, deciding Liberty probably didn't want to talk anymore. The weird feeling squeezed his heart again, but this time it was worry he wrecked something. As the barn came closer he dismounted Dash. "I'll see you later, then." Ryker commented before taking off the bridle, quickly putting Dash in the stall, and heading to the dining hall. |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker absolutely 1000% ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty sighed with relief as the barn came into view. She hopped off Dahlia, unbridled her, and put her in her stall. Then she walked back to the mess hall for dinner. She got her food, and, deciding it was best to not risk seeing Ryker there, she took her food up to her room. After eating, Liberty showered, wrote in her journal, and finally got in bed. But it took her more than 2 hours to fall asleep after that. She kept going back to the waterfall and trying to figure out where it had gone wrong. Finally, she fell asleep, dreaming of horses, cats, and Ryker. |

Ryker Rivera [] M [] 16 [] CR: Liberty, through and through [] Dashing to Freedom [] M: Liberty - Ryker slowly walked up to the dining hall, his gaze flitting around for a second, but he did not see Liberty. He sighed slightly. He must've scared her away. Great. Ryket gathered up a meager amount of food, then walked up to his dorm. He silently entered and sat down at a chair, staring at the food on his plate for a moment before pushing it away. He didn't feel like eating. He stood and went to the shower, taking a long hot bath. Then, after, he pulled on some soft pants and collapsed into bed to stare at the ceiling. For over an hour he barely even blinked, his brain running at 300 mph. Finally, after a long while, he drifted into a restless darkness. In the morning, sun shone brightly in the window, through the shades. Ryker opened his eyes slightly with a small groan, rolling out of bed. He grabbed some jeans and a belt, pulling both on, then tucking a loose flannel shirt into it. After buttoning it up he ran a hand through his hair, yawned, and went to breakfast with a thick book. Why not wake up reading a good book. Still, no matter how much he tried to forget, he couldn't forget Liberty's face.. and how she seemed to be ignoring him. |

Liberty Norris ✴ Female ✴ 1st Year | 15 ✴ CR: Ryker, obviously ✴ Golden Dahlia ✴ M: Estelle | Ryker - Liberty blinked at the sun shining through her window and onto her face. She groaned, stretched, and sat up, rubbing her eyes. Libert pulled on jeans and a shirt, then took a book from her suitcase. Reading helped her forget her worries and drown in a world that wasn't her own. This book happened to be Pony, one of her favorites. Liberty walked into the mess hall and served herself some eggs and bacon, then found a seat by a window that had good lighting. Liberty read, ate, and daydreamed for the next half hour. |
