Cinnamon brown hair that falls to her waist(She always keeps it up neatly so no-one knows how long it really is except her), vibrant blue eyes with strong flecks of green, medium height (5'6'') and light weight(117 Ib), softly tanned skin. She has scars on her back from a flogging she endured once. She is slim but strong with soft curves.

Personality

Madrigal is very watchful and calculating. She's blunt, but generally likes to talk to people she's comfortable around. She prefers being by herself most of the time but does enjoy the company of others in smaller doses. Extreme sense of loyalty. Does not enjoy killing but she won't hesitate to do it, but she does love to jump into a fight, crescent moon blades in hand.

Weapon of choice

Madrical carries a set of crescent moon blades, which she guards with her life. Each knife is made up with two curved crescent-moon shaped blades interlocking, hence their name. They are small, their grips in the middle, requiring one to get close to their opponent. The knives provide a number of slicing points and blocking points, and are the perfect weapons for one against multiple opponents.

Madrigal also carries an array of throwing and carving knives.

Strengths

She's a great thief, so she often steals clothes and other things from vendors. She's really good at slipping into the shadows and disappearing, blending in. She has great skills when it comes to blades of most kinds. She carries a set of throwing daggers, and her crescent blades are her most prized possessions.

Extreme self-consciousness (Because of her past, she overwhelmingly feels eyes on her when she's out, especially in open spaces, which is why she's really good at slipping away so she can get away from the feeling)

She is scared of being caught by her old kingdom.

Years ago, her parents left to go on a quest to save her little sister, but they never returned and the sister died. She found an old journal of her mothers giving her a strong lead to what cure they were looking for. She believes her parents are still alive.

Her grandmother was the princess next in line to the siren throne but ran away with her human lover, never to be found at sea again. So, Sadie is secretly royal, but because of a shortage of royal babies in the generations after, a cousin took the throne after her great uncle died, and therefore, she is the unknowing heir to the siren throne.

Ceri has collar bone length honey blonde hair, big green eyes framed by thick lashes, and a face that she would say is not beautiful but is striking. She has a natural lightly tanned skin colour which tans quite quickly under the sun. She has a brown birth mark on back which she is self-conscious about. Unable to go to bed early most nights, she stays up either reading or watching TV, durig which she likes to paint her nails, so she often has painted nails and the colours change regularly.

Background: Ceri was born in Adelaide, Australia, to Mitchen and Elissa James. She grew up on a farm where she learned to ride at the age of 4. She soon grew a love for jumping, and had her first jumping pony when she was 11. When she was 12, her fmaily moved to Melbourne. From there, she competed in the Junior classes, then Young Rider classes in at the Australian Jumping Championships. She was 17 when she rode her first Grand Prix class on her past GP horse Korina. She was set to ride in her first World Cup at 19, but had a major accident which killed her horse and left her in hospital. After that, she became scared to jump again, her mother told her father she wanted a divorce, and Ceri and Mitchen James moved to the US to where Mitchem's family lived in Montana. Ceri doesn't speak to her mother anymore, and she has never met(nor does she ever want to) her step-father.

Personality: A very mare-ish personality. Is a little grumpy, but is starting to build a good bond with Ceri. She is not a fan of other horses, but is also more bark than bite. A bit spooky but not unsafe. If Ceri asks her to do something she doesn't want to do, she might rear, but as their bond strengthens this behaviour lessens.

Backstory: She was bred by a small stud in Ireland but sold to a man in the US as a filly, where she was left in the paddock until she was 4. Ceri was driving past her paddock on the way to try another horse and pointed her out to her father. On the way back from trying the horse(Which Ceri disliked), they dropped in to see the man about the grey mare. He said he bought her for his granddaughter who had a brain tumor who recently died. Whist Ceri was by the paddock fence watching the horse, her father explained their situation and that Ceri had just lost her horse and the man sold Nitid to them. Ceri took Nitid home, where she just did ground work with her for a year, and then she started riding and flat-work as a 5 year old. Now at 6, Nitid is established on the flat, has done some pole work, and Ceri is planning to start some work with the jumping soon.

Backstory

During the year of her eighteenth birthday, the year she came of age to be married, she was assaulted and is no longer considered 'pure' by social standards. So her family cast her away, so now she is only a princess by name. She has now surpassed the right age to be married, and because of what her family calls 'the incident' no-one will touch her. So she likes to train with the knights and learn battle strategy etc. instead so she can still be of use to her kingdom.

• When Josee was 17 her mother had a surprise pregnancy and had twins. Because they'd only planned for one child, Josee's parents had only budgeted for her and her compedidive equestrian life. When they had the twins, they had to re-budget and that meant selling the horse and Josee didn't ride much afterwards.

• Attended pony camp at Canterwood Stables for 3 summers at the ages 11, 12, & 13.
• On football team in highschool
• Car crash at 18 (senior in whilst driving home for Christmas in grade 12, a mother driving her two children from school got destracted twisting to tell her kids off in the back and crashed into him head on. He suffered a severe concussion, and was hospitalised for over a week. 4 months later he suffered another moderate concussion playing football where he lost consciousness, and he was told not to play contact sports again.
