Congratulations! We have reached our 15 members target and giveaway info has been sent to all members. Our next giveaway event will take place when we reach 50 members, so tell your friends and get recruiting! There will be a prize for the person who recruits the most members by the end of the month. Edit: Our Halloween 'Tryck or Treat' competition has ended, congratulations to our winner, Equestrians dreams! No-one figured out the riddle, there was a boar (or pig) hiding behind our young SH mare 'Hidden Secret'. Thank you to those who took part in the competition. Details of our next event will be sent out as soon as the details have been finalised. Edited at October 31, 2020 06:37 AM by Ynys Hafod Stables

For November's selection of games, I thought in honour of Thanksgiving we would do a poll for the most individual looking horse you can find in your stable (basically the ugliest, though in these enlightened days of sensitive natures we are not allowed to be discriminatory). You cannot choose your relatives but you can choose your horses, plus they may have hidden gems like a high bravery rating, homozygous quality or may just have a lovable character. The horse can be of any age up to and including 19 yrs. You do not have to have bred the horse yourself as long as it is in your stable at the time of submission & voting. To give your horse the edge when the voting is active, it may help to explain in the remarks on the horses page why that horse was chosen for the contest. The prize for the winner will be this lovely rare 1/1 PEP mare: https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=23654770Please send the link of your entry to me at Wyldewoodland Estate (313447) as soon as possible and the closing date for receipt of links will be Sunday (November 15th). The poll for voting will then be placed on the forum on Monday 16th November. The closing date for voting is Sunday 29th November 2020. Good luck to everyone! World Kindness Day is on 13th November 2020. To mark that occasion, we would like you to introduce yourself to the other members of the club and pass a compliment on their stable. It can be anything from something about the horses to names of barns/pastures etc the list is endless. There are, unfortunately, no prizes for this act. Please ensure that all your horses are fit and ready for a new type of contest next month (December) in which you will have to pair up with a partner from the club. Should you have a friend who is not currently a member then please request they find out more about us as the more members we have the better the prizes we can offer. Later on, this month, there will be a quiz to test your knowledge of all things equine. You will be notified about the details nearer the time. Have you any suggestions as to what you would like from your club? It is disappointing that the Halloween quest we arranged did not produce the desired interest. Without your input we are at a loss as to how to keep enthusiasm bubbling in the cauldron and fireworks to entertain you. Due to a lack of participation I have temporarily put our club events on hold. If anyone wishes to send me any suggestions as to what the club can do to increase club activity please do not hesitate to contact me. Club fees have been scrapped until further notice. The club arenas will remain open holding shows on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's at a cost of 100ebs for each entry. The club barn will also remain and continue to offer free studs and broods to club members. Edited at January 5, 2021 05:11 AM by Ynys Hafod Stables
