Art competition and on a weekend :-) |

Hi all, the club arenas are now open and ready for this weekend's shows, so head over and enter your horses now. Dressage on Friday, Cross Country on Saturday and Show Jumping on Sunday, entries must be in by the previous day.
We are currently planning our first ever art competition which will start soon, all club members are welcome to join in regardless of previous art experience. We will be looking for some new and interesting pictures to replace the club insignia (100 x 100) and the club banner (669 x 150). You can either enter for both images or just one. More information coming soon.
We are still looking for donations for prizes, ebs, straws, breeding rights, tack or items or anything else you can spare. Also if you are interested in becoming a club officer then please inbox me with info. As always let us know if you have any ideas or prefferences for upcoming events and competitions.

Please send it to me at Ynys Hafod Stables 272515 and I will add it to the club funds and use it as a prize for our upcoming cometition. The CQE Club Arenas are open and ready for entries.
This weeks shows will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so please make sure that your entries are in by the previous day.

Hi all! For our Christmas competition I have decided to open up the club arenas for some special events! These events will have free entry and take place on Friday 24th for dressage, Saturday 25th for cross country and Sunday 26th for show jumping. Please make sure to get all of your horses entered by the previous day. (Links to the club arenas are at the bottom of this message.)
Horses can only be entered once, (for example, if your horse is entered into the dressage competition it can not be entered into the cross country or showjumping events). Any horses entered into more than one of the events will be disqualified. The previous leaderboards have been cleared so at the end of the competition there will be a cash (ebs) prize for those who come 1st (25,000 ebs), 2nd (15,000 ebs) and 3rd (10,000 ebs). Welcome again! We have one more contest in store for the club this Holiday season. This contest will be creative, but not as artistic. For this mini contest, we will be highlighting some "Chrismasy" colored horses: Silver/white(grey,ect) gold(palomino, pearl,ect) red(chestnut,redroan ect) green(misc items unless you have a green horse somehow) blue(blue roan main/tail dies and othe misc.items) all that good stuff,feel free to add anything else that puts you in the spirit. Of course any horse is welcome, but since we're going for a holiday theme, they must come with a themed name, this can be a pun, a movie throwback, or anything else that coincides with the season. The main part of the contest will be a Mad Lib. We will have 3 different mad lib formats available, but you wont know exactly what it says until we start the voting ;) please see the club forum for the kinds of words you will be needing. you will post your mad lib in your selected horse's remarks. The mad lib formats will be in the club forum. This is also where you will post your final product. Here is the timeline:
Dec 26-29, Preparation/ post your contestant horse
Dec 30-jan 1, mad lib template revealed/ open voting
jan 2-... prizes sent out, contest ends.
