What I do for shadows and highlights is I make a new layer, take an airbrush, and for shadoes use black, for highlights i use white. Then i lightly paint over the horse :D If it's going to be in dramatic lighting, sometimes I'll use a different color In that piece, I used blacks, red, and purple/pink (Its a WIP) For grounding, I normally make a layer underneath the horse, take black, and go around the hooves, making a moon shape. Then, I lower the layer opacity, and if done correctly, it should look like theirs an impression on the ground because of the hoof :) Edited at July 16, 2020 09:13 AM by Lucky Ranch

Just so you know, I'm not mad about reexplaining, but I think that's how it sounds, but know that's not what I mean 😂 . How do you need me to explain it? Like, what part isnt totally clear?
