Cole sat up, giving her a strange look. "You wouldn't actually do that..." He shook his head, "not for the guy who ditched you."

Lili looks at the ground. "I would if it meant that you were safe" She murmurs, playing with her hands.
"But I hurt you, you shouldn't repay me by doing that," Cole argued, "Hell, you shouldn't even be here. If I were you I'd want to avoid me for the rest of my existence."

Lili shakes her head, "I couldn't do that Cole... Not now.." She looks up at him, "I'm sorry.."
"It's not a bad thing, it's just..." Cole huffed, "I don't deserve you, that's all. I guess I never really did."
| |
"...I was a bad person... a really bad person.." She murmurs looking at her lap. "You made me see that there was more to life than just shoving people into lockers and being a total bitch all the time. You showed me that I could express my feelings..." She says softly, looking up at him.

"I don't get it. I'm the last person anyone would expect to learn that from." Cole gave her a confused look. "...But maybe I'm better at it than I think. Although I'm not sure if being angry or sad all the time counts." He let out a small laugh, almost feeling uncomfortable.

Lili offers him a soft smile. "Cole you taught me alot of things. But most of all you taught me how to let things in - people in." She says quietly. "And I appreciate that. A lot." She adds.

Cole sighed, leaning over to hug Lili gently, "We should go now." He suggested softly, burying his face in her shoulder.

Lili nods alittle, rubbing his back gently, before slowly getting up. Holly nibbled at Lili's fingertips, causing Lili's giggle quietly as she got up.
