Raven stood up carefuly trying not to fall over,once up she nuzzled her inlarged stomach"Dawn you can go play at the edges of the herd just be careful..."she mumbled then started to look around in the mud for some grass.

Dawn layed on the ground and jerked her head up as Raven got up"I wonder when the foal will come.."she thought to herself when Raven suddenly said"Dawn you can go play at the edges of the herd just be careful..."Dawn got up in a rush and the started to gallop around the edge of the herd,raising her head up and nickering happily.

Granites ears perked, hearing the howl. He relaxed though, as it was far off. Have to keep that in mind though, in case they come closer.

He picked up his speed, his tail bobbing slightly with the movement. Heading over to Soldier, he whinnied a greeting and then said, "That howl was far off, but we better keep a lookout tonight, especially with Raven."

Granite gave a little shake to his mane, trying to shake the gross feeling he had from the warm rain.

Anastasia had managed to get about a mouthful of shrubbery as she walked around with her muzzle to the ground pulling up what she could get but didn't eat too much making sure the herd had some, Her audits swiveling around as she heard a howl making her a bit uneasy as she lifted her head and looked around the herd making sure nobody was missing. She stopped when Raven caught her eye she looked like she was ready to foal soon so made sure she was always in her sight just in case

Eve was still trying to get some sleep, The rain didn't really bother her it was more the mud that was building up on her legs and sides whenever she laid down so she'd settled on standing. The dark colored mare locked one of her back legs trying to get comfy but ended up switching legs a few times before she was able to drift off again

After throwing his brother a soured expression, his audits perked hearing the sploshy steps of Granite coming this way. Blue hues planted to the frame of the silver stallion as he came over. He dip his frame towards the stud, snorting a "Hello" in a low return. Pondering in thought, his hues flicked towards Raven who was a few feet away from where he stood. "Hmm. Will Do. I'll go do a quick round, nothing better to do in this rain" he snorted. Audits flicked as he soon walked past Granite, large hooves stepping under the swuishy mudded grass with each step, letting out a sigh as he exited from the trees into the open. The rain at least was more now of a light sprinkled shower.

An audit quickly pricked back, hearing steps coming behind him. He paused, standing tall, looking back it was his brother. Souring his frame some, as his hues met his brothers "Stay Here. I will be right back. You don't always have to come with me" he snorted rather short. Audits pinned softly in a warning towards his brother before huffing and swiftly moving forward, alone.

Large hips swayed with each step, the further he got away from his brother, as he walked a bit beyond the preimeter of the herds terriory. Grumbling to himself, over the nasty weather. Hues darting out, observing the herd members every so often.

Audits swilved hearing stepps coming towards them. Curisouly he picked his frame up from his grooming and seen the silver stallion coming this way. Pressing his front hooves forward, he chose to stand. Mud covered his legs and underbody and intangled in his long plumage as he stood. Shaking his pelt as he lazily licked his lips, offering a smile to Granite as he approached them. "Hello" he nickered as his audits perked to listen as he spoke to his brother. Hues softly flicked as his attention also went over to Raven for a brief moment back to looking towards the lead stud and Soilder. Blinking softly at his brothers words, he soon glanced to Granite and with a bob of his frame, he walked after his brother only to be caught short

Coming to a pause after making it a few steps from the trees, his hues caught the narrowed icy glare from his brother. "What?" he snorted as he took a step back, audits relaxed as he looked behind him, then back towards his brother with a raised brow and innocent look. At the words that got thrown at him, he huffed "Well. Someone is grumpy" audits softly pinned as he watched his brother quickly pace off.

Letting out a sigh as his thick plumage flick behind him, he turned his frame towards teh attention of the herd, his blue hues softly watched the foals, before his eyes fell apon Anne for a brief moment. Running his muzzle over his front knee, he shook his frame and paced out more into the middle of the opening. Softly running his muzzle along the mud as he snorted bordely. Standing tall, audits perked, he looked around before quietly watching Eve in the distance.

Raven raised her head as the rain stopped and the clouds parted,she let out a sigh"Been a while since I seen the sun shine..."she thought to herself and semi-closed her eyes letting the sun soak her face.

Dawn neighed happily as the sun came out,but skidded to a stop as she almost ran into Sailor"Sorry!!"she peeped and lowered her head mud had splashed up when she stopped.

Granite nodded his head at Sailor, returning his friendly greeting.

He turned to walk away, ready to spend the rest of the morning in misery over the weather. As if mocking him, the sun began to shine, and the rain stopped. Grateful that his coat started drying up, and starting to feel better, he trotted over to Anastasia. "When you have a moment dear, we really need to talk. About the herd." Though his words were rather vague, his tone was serious.

Etoile got up from the edge of the herd where she had been trying to sleep away her hunger. She had always been a rather lean and elegant horse, but at this point, her ribs were starting to show. She let out a dusty snort, wondering when the grasses would grow back.

Anne smiled when the rain had finally eased watching Raven for a little while before glancing over at her daughter debating whether she should go over and she how she was or leave her asleep, When she heard Granite she decided to let Eve sleep and turned so she could see Granite. Hearing him talk about the herd in a serious tone made her straighten up giving him her full attention, "What is it?" She asked concerned though she had a feeling it was about the grass slowly dying and her nervousness increased slightly but she managed to look calm and collected.

Eve now asleep stood still with her head low and her back left leg locked as her dark tail flicked a few times brushing against her drenched coat making a few strands of her tail stick a bit then fall back with the tail as it flicked the other side, The mare had gone to sleep a little while ago but was unable to dream only able to do that when she laid down and the mud bothered her when it dried on her coat. Soon after Eve woke up when her stomach began to growl at her once again so she looked around for some food and for a second eyed her mother remembering when she was able to nurse from her but snorted and lowered her head again to continue her search for food

Raven began to trot over to a little pond a bit off from the herd,as she came near she slowed her eyes scanning the area her ears perked foward.Once she made sure it was safe she walked to the edge and lowered her head drinking in small gulps.
