Dakota | Beta, Open "You'll have to catch me first!" Dakota's soaked silver and white coat glistened in the dappled sunshine. She galloped around, Hazel following close behind, with her tail and head held high, a lively and mischievous glint in her eye. She raced back towards the creek and lept into a deep pool. Her head broke the surface and she swam to where her hooves could touch. She smirked. "Catch me if you can!" Her tone seemed as if she thought Hazel wouldn't leap in after her, but she knew she'd give in. All Dakota had to do was wait about 30 seconds max, and they'd both be sending waves of splashes at each other. She gave the mare a daring look.

Legend laughed as she saw Dakota galloping around. "What are you doing?" Legend came up to the the horses and smiled.

Winter: Winter sighed as he watched Dakota and Hazel playing around. He wished he could join them, and at the same time he knew he wasn't that type of horse. So he watched, and chuckled to himself. The sunset's shadows brought out the long scar down his face. He knew he had many lessons to share with the herd about fighting, he knew he could teach them all to be better, but most of them didn't care to listen.

Xena // M: Luna ~~~~~~~~ She smiled. The old mare had been waiting to be asked a question liked this. Xena slowly looked around at the herd before answering. "I believe that Versace is a little jealous. She seems to get worried and upset when a different horse talks to her brother. She doesn't want anyone to steal him from her. Do you understand?" she asked, sending a fun and playful wink Luna's way.

Legend glanced at Winter, she walked over to him again. "You okay?" she whinnied, swishing her tail. The light evening breeze blew her mane gently. "Its so pretty out here, I'm glad this is out home. Where do you think we would go if we needed to leave?" Legend knew there wasnt any predetors around but she was just wondering. She and Winter had known each other for a while and she felt she could talk to him more openly than even the lead mare...

Luna | M: Xeno, Open. "I can understand that in a sense." The mare answered Xeno respectfully, trying not to flustered again before playfully rolling her eyes in response. "But she doesn't have to worry about losing her brother since all we do is talk, there isn't really anything there I don't think." Luna said this, almost in thought while looking around a bit since she was quite wary of his sister. "Plus, I wasn't being completely honest with her when she asked me what me and her brother were talking about." The Crossbred mare shyly added. Edited at November 8, 2022 09:47 AM by Aspen Fire ES

XenA // M: Luna ~~~~~ Xena looked the mare in the eye. "Well, I believe that you have a pretty good head on your shoulders that whatever you didn't come clean about should stay between you and Prada. Definitely shouldn't do anything to upset a mare like that..." The arabian looked over at the direction the mare had walked. "Perhaps you should tell Versace that nothing is going on between you too?? Unless there is." She looked back at the mare, the slightest smirk on her face. Prada // M: None, Open ~~~~~~~~~~~ The stallion was now gone for a few hours. He decided to make his way to the cliff before heading back to the herd. The beautiful sights from the tall height he was at was breathtaking. Prada closed his eyes and breathes deeply as the wind blows through his mane. The warmth of the sun absorbed itself in his black pelt. He opened his eyes and turned to walk back.

Winter: Winter liked talking to Legend, and she always knew when he needed it most. She was a close friend of his and he felt like he could be honest with her. "I was just thinking, I have so much battle experience. I know fighting isn't really the glorified heroism that these horses think it is. I fear that if the time comes for them to protect themselves, they won't realize how grusome, horrendous, and sorrowful, fighting really is. It will take someone's life to teach them the lessons I have learned. But if I taught them, if they tooks lessons with me and I told them my stories, maybe they would be better prepared. I mean, not that we have anything here to worry about, but..." He knew it was better to be aware of the horrible things that came from battle than be ignorant. Many horses thought that after a fight with a predator they would have an amazing heroic tale to tell. Winter was once one of those unsuspecting horses. But know that he knew how the world really worked, maybe he could inform them. He needed someone's advice and he knew Legend would give him her truthful opinion. He had given her fighting lessons. She had done well. She had listened to the stories of terror and learned from them, he had no doubt that she wouldn't go into a fight over-confident and arrogant like most of these horses would.

Legend nodded, "I think thats a wonderful idea! Maybe talk it over with the alpha, I bet she would let you!". Legend knew about his battle experience, he had taught her how to fight. He was a strong stallion and she thought it would be good for the herd to know about his storys and how to fend for themselves incase something happened.
