Sage was more than happy to lay there for a while, though when she spoke up he sort of groaned and halfheartedly stretched before settling back down again with a sigh. "We have a couple hours still," he half mumbled, though opened his eyes slightly to peer up at the girl. A sleepy smile crossed his face when he saw her face, all shining in the light. "You know, you're really beautiful," he hummed, nestling up against her leg as he stared up at her.

Sage sort of chuckled in response to her comment, giving her a lazy grin when he noticed the smile form on her face. He sort of half leaned his head into her hand when she ran her fingers through his hair, settling quietly into a slightly different position. The woman sort of smiled to him before moving to peck his head again and getting comfortable. They had a few hours just to relax, and she was happy to take it. "Good. At least you're saying you believe me now," she mused softly to him before moving to peck his head again. It had taken him years to actually accept her compliments, so it was nice to know he was beliving her now.

Sage felt a lazy grin spread across his face when she moved to settle down next to him again, and nestled in happily, resting his chin on her chest lightly. "I didn't have much of a choice, as often as you shower me with compliments," he half teased the girl. Both of them knew he appreciated the comliments though, as they were definitely nice to hear. Soon enough though, he knew they really did have to get up, so he moved to sit up with a bit of a sigh, patting her leg gently as he did so.

The woman smiled softly when he sat up, and just sort of moved to press a light kiss to his lips. She really didn't want to leave... but she did want to see her children. Sage gave the girl a happy sounding hum before chuckling and nodding in response to her comment. "I do miss everyone," he hummed. And by everyone, he'd included Amber and the horses....of course, he'd had Chaos here with them, but he was eager to check in on the mares, many of which could have foaled while they were gone. And of course, watching the foals grow and develop was always nice. Plus, he had so many new art ideas he wanted to get done....it would be back to hard work, but that was alright. He enjoyed it. "Silas and Liz will be glad to be home too," he noted with a chuckle. "Do you think they've driven mom crazy yet," he joked, knowing both their kids were wonderful, and Edith loved both of them to death.

"I'm sure those kids have aged her ten years by now," a he mused lightly to him before shaking her head. "But they'll be happy to see everyone too..." she mused sort of moving to flop back down on the bed. "Oh, but it is lovely here she mused lightly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment, shaking his head in fond amusement. "I can already imagine the looks Amber is going to give me when we come back," he laughed. When she mentioned her mother, he gave her a rather mischevious looking grin. "How much did you age her then, I wonder," he teased her lightly before leaning over and pecking her lips lightly. "We'll come back in a few years, when the kids are old enough to come with," he hummed. "That'll give us plenty of time to save up enough to splurge on a bit," he chirped.
