What ever happened to that beautiful light colored female pup you had? I think you were having some drama with people who were interested in some of the litter.

Introduction
In the sprawling landscape of Northern Colorado lies Belle View International Equestrian Academy. Surrounded by the Great Plains to the East and the Rockies to the West, Belle View provides stunning views accompanying its Old English-styled stables and seemingly vast paddocks. The acceptance rate to the academy is low, yet you have met their requirements and have been accepted. Now, you will choose your major and disciplines. Will you attend to become one of the best instructors of the Equestrian world, or strive for excellence in competition as an infamous rider?

About Belle View Academy
Belle View boasts access to just under two thousand acres of Colorado land, including multiple trails that are beginner to advanced rider-friendly. The property includes the use of two twenty-stall barns that are built parallel to each other, with a 100x200 ft indoor riding arena connecting them. The Old English style of the stables and arena looks and feel of being in the foothills of England, providing a serene yet scholarly environment.

Two outdoor arenas cater towards dressage, reining, and jumping. The largest being 150x300 ft and the smallest 66x131 ft. There is one pasture that caters to XC riders, and with multiple round-pens at your leisure, Belle View gives easy access for all of their student's needs. Paddocks are plentiful, but there are ten that are used for school-horses and student’s horses, providing ten acres each and fits twelve horses to allow for optimal use.

Anthea Moss | Female | 18 | Beginner | Mentions: Instructors, Other Students.
Anthea Moss, quiet as she was, was singing in the little grey shortbed she had recently bought and named Dibby. She had her favorite song playing on the radio, while the made her way up and down multiple rolling hills. It seemed like a far drive, but it was, she had been driving since 7:30 that morning, it neared 9:00. She looked at the dashboard, taking a sip of her coffee.
She approached the Belle View Equestrian Academy, slowly and came to a stop, turning in the smooth cemented driveway. She would have to ask someone, likely an Instructor if there was a 'No Pets Policy', she wanted to bring her dog, Axel, with her, but wasn't sure if she could.
She parked and grabbed her peach and black backpack and matching colored bag, neither were heavy, but she pretended they were while she walked to the women's cottage. She didn't pass anyone while she swam through the halls of the cottage. AhA! Room six. She swung open the door hitting the wall, it was bigger then she expected, it had a table and a lamp, the bed neatly made. She set her bays down next to the short dresser and ran to the window, she stared out at the paddocks and pens. She could see horses and was extatic, she neatly folded her clothes, putting them away. She put her minimal amount of drawing supplies in the drawer on the table, starting to make herself at home, she was going to have to till the end of her lessons before she could draw. Then she realized she was out of coffee.

Heather Proudstorm | 17 | Beginner | Nightmare "Prince" | Discipline: Eventing | M: Instructors, Other students

A Red jeep gladiator would be rolling up onto the property of Belle View Equestrian Academy. This is it she thought, feeling quite nervous while her German Shepherd slept soundly in the back seat while the vehicle pulled a grey two horse trailer. The anxious gelding was moving around in the trailer, ready to be let out as he let out a few bellowed but loud neighs to announce their arrival to the facility.

Once she managed to find a parking spot. She pulled right into it before bringing the car to a halt, turning the engine off. Toby finally woke up as the large dog yawned before stretching, sitting himself up into a sit in the seat now. The brunette ran her fingers through her hair nervously, feeling the flutter of the butterflies in her stomach or she probably feels nauseous? Heather finally managed to calm down her nerves with a few breathing in and out tatic. She placed her car keys into her pocket before opening the driver side door, stepping out as her feet touch the gravel, turning around to reach back into the car to grab a halter with a lead already attached and a leash.

She shut the driver side door before opening the back seat door. "Wait." The young girl said, Toby would be listening as he waits. The brunette clips the leash onto his collar. "Okay, break." Heather said, stepping out of the way as the dog jumps out of the car, shutting the car door behind him then she makes her way around to the back of the trailer but she put Toby in a place command first so he wouldn't be in the way, dropping the leash as she starts pushing the latches on each side upwards then opening the trailer as she set the trailer door down, Becoming a ramp before she goes inside the trailer to get her noisy gelding.

"Settle down, Prince. We're finally here so calm down." Heather softly said to the equine which in turn received a loud snort from him in reponse, clipping the lead onto his halter before carefully backing him out of the trailer. Once he's fully out of the trailer, the sun's light gently shined on his black coat. The gelding stood tall with his head held high, checking the surroundings as he loudly blew out some air from his nostrils while his ears flicked backwards then forwards every now and then.

The young girl gently patted the gelding's neck, hoping to keep him calm as she starts to walk the large equine around in a circle to hopefully keep him busy with his feet moving since she was use to seeing other people do it with their horses that usually acted nervous in new places. Toby stayed right where he is while he happily wagged his tail, taking in all the new smells, the new sights and the new sounds.

Brooke Camden | M: New Students, Alden

Sat in her Mini, strumming her fingers along the steering wheel, Brooke debated whether to run out for coffee last minute or stay and welcome the incoming students that were due today. She had just sat down in her small four-door when Alden had texted her, asking when he would need to be available for orientation. Anxiety winning her over and quietly grumbling, she snatched her satchel to go back inside. Accidentally slamming the door, she cursed herself for mistreating the innocent car, and quickly strode across the parking lot with smooth, easy strides. Alden's airy voice echoed down the walkway as Brooke entered the barn. A small smile lifted at the corner of her mouth while she listened to him sing one of his many favorite songs. Her riding boots clacked on the hardwood floor, her footfalls easily giving away her entrance to her brother.

"It's so early, Alden. Please, spare us from this torture." Her small smile had long turned into an evil grin as she rounded the corner to lean on Chance's stall door. Brooke watched as her brother, currently stood behind the gelding's munching form, and laughed at his attempt of gaining the bay's attention. Completely ignoring his poor owner, Chance would not budge from his food as Alden struggled to place a halter on him.

"Come on, the new peeps will be here any minute, and I'm sure they'll be needing directions and the like." She knew that he would stay there all day arguing with the gelding, and rolled her eyes at her brother's antics. Turning around on her heel, Brooke went to the main hang-out space of the stables. Once in the room, she prepared a cup of coffee from the small kichenette that was built into one of the corners. She enjoyed this area of the stables the most, it had a small fireplace matched with a sofa and reading chairs next to a large bookcase. An odd room for a stable, but it allowed riders and instructors to relax and wind down from stressful days.

Catherine E. Bergman || All, Tamlin.
The black Volvo glided slowly up the drive to Belle View. The estate rolled into view gradually, white-capped mountains acting as a frozen halo for the property sat dismally in the distance. The day was nice despite the crushing weight on the girl's chest as she drove. Quietly, Marina and The Diamonds played on the radio, only occasionally interrupted by the GPS system which confirmed that she was in the right place.
The call from her father last week had been unexpected, to say the least. With no warning he had told her she was transferring to someplace in Colorado, he had been researching it, and "This is a much better fit" for her he had decided. She had been too upset to fight the decision and when he showed up three days later to help her pack she did not object. She said goodbye to her friends and hit the road for the 20-hour trek from Washington state to Colorado.
Her seaside view faded into the browns and reds of California and gradually into the grays and tans of the Rocky Mountains. Of course, her father didn't stay long enough to ride with her. He had to catch a flight to Virginia for some unsaid meeting with her sister. Distantly she recalled that the brunette's birthday was in a week, maybe that's why he had to go so quickly.
Catherine shook off the thoughts as the main building of the Equestrian Center finally loomed before her. Others had arrived before she had and were unloading horses and bags all over the front of the property. She found a spot to park, far enough away from the others that Tam wouldn't get upset by their equines' scents but also so she could avoid speaking for her first few minutes in this new terrain.
Cutting the car off she took a quick glance at herself in the review mirror, her eyes were rimmed a slight red from countless hours of restlessness but her morning mascara had stayed in place as had the rest of her quickly applied makeup. She ran a finger under her eyes to liven them before stepping out into the brisk mountain air. A quick smoothing of her trousers had her feeling better. She had dressed nicely this morning in her motel, impressions were everything weren't they?
The long-sleeved white blouse she had worn was topped with a sage green knit vest, both of which were tucked into cream-colored slacks. Her black rain boots squeaked against the road as she made her way to the trailer.
Silently she realized that Colorado was not nearly as damp as Washington and she made a mental note to head to town soon for some regular boots. She'd keep the knee-high hunters for mucking she supposed.
From the trailer, an annoyed huff followed by a stamp of a hoof sounded and Catherine found it in her to crack a smile. Tamlin had not enjoyed the trailer ride despite the many stops his girl took to stretch his legs and give him rest. The dappled equine let out a relieved whinny when the trailer door came down and the sun filtered in to greet him.
"Good afternoon Liebling Junge."
Catherine muttered as she stroked his dark muzzle. A leather lead was clipped to its matching halter and the gelding was led carefully from the trailer. Tamlin stretched and let out a low groan as Catherine tied him to the outside of the trailer so she could grab her bags. The others that had arrived were beginning to mingle and Catherine ducked her head into her backseat to avoid them for a moment longer.
A heavy thud signaled that all of her (few) bags had finally been removed from the car and she sighed as she turned to Tamlin.
Taking a look at the mountains in the distance that seemed to never end she laid her head against the gelding's shoulder.
"You don't seem to mind the view."
She whispered into his coat before untying him from the trailer once more.
It was finally time to go greet the others she supposed.

Brooke Camden | M: All

Hesitation ran through Brooke's chest as she stood next to the coffe maker in the small lounge room. This was the hardest part of the year for her, meeting new people and pretending to be open and extroverted. It was a terrible habit of hers, but one that she couldn't seem to kick. She preferred to make people feel welcome with open arms. However, with her natural personality, she came off as aloof and disinterested like her brother. Her mother taught her from a young age to supress those emotions, but it seemed more and more difficult the older she got to maintain this fake persona.

Her attention turned to her outfit and she briefly pondered changing it before meeting the new students. Fingers picked at the fine white material of her long-sleeved jumpers shirt that was tucked neatly into high waisted tan riding pants. This is fine. She had to repeat that in her head as her fingers tightened around her favorite mug.

Taking a brisk gulp of her hot coffee, she finally decided to put on her big girl pants and head oustide when she heard multiple vehicles pulling onto the property. Her long legs carried her through the the double doors of the lounge and down the aisle, past Chance's stall. Alden greeted her with arms crossed and a brief nod in her direction. She followed after her brother's taller form out of the left side stable, the courtyard between the two barns had a roundabout bewteen them for easy loading and unloading for transporting horses or dropping off students.

Brooke forced a large smile on her face before her nerves got the better of her. She wanted everyone's first day to go well and refused to let her shyness ruin that for them. Alden stopped and she halted next to him. Their height difference was noticable, despite her tall stature. Now that they stood arm to arm, one could tell that they looked like they were cut from the same cloth with their shared hair, freckles, and skin tone. Alden wore more casual clothes compared to his sister, since they wouldn't be riding for another hour or two in order to organize the newcomers.

"Welcome to Belle View!" Her green eyes took in the students that were in the parking lot, some of them still gathering their belongings and others stood with their horse in tow.

"The left barn is where we keep the main board for organizing pasture space and stall order. Some of the stalls are free to choose from, some of them are already assigned. Feel free to check on them to see where your horse is situated." Brooke swept her gaze over the girls present before remembering she hadn't introduced herself.

She tried to ignore her cheeks turning red at her error and quickly said, "My name is Brooke Camden and this is Alden Camden, my twin. We're both Seniors of Belle View, you are more than welcome to ask us for help or any questions you may have." The black-haired female gestured to the man beside her with a shrug of her shoulder before continuing. "I live in the studio on the second floor of the left barn, if you ever need me and can't find me I am most likely there." She pointed to the barn that she and her brother had just exited.

"I'm not sure if this is all of you, but while we're all here, we can start introducing yourselves. Your names and where you're from should suffice." Now she waited expectantly, curious about the new faces in front of her. They would have time for questions after introductions were complete.

Anthea Moss | Female | 18 | Beginner | Mentions: Brooke, Alden, Other Students.
Anthea walked out of the cottage, approaching her truck for her coffee, she heard the voice of someone a ways away, she ran to grab her coffee. She ruffled thru her messy truck and found her coffee, then she slammed her truck door shut and sipped it while running to where the voices came from. As soon as she saw other people she felt severely underdressed for this occasion. Introductions? She sipped her coffee slowly, nobody had spoke up after near to a minute, so she did. "Hello, I wasn't here to get your name, but I'm Anthea Moss, I'm from Nevada. I've never ridden a horse before, I own a Friesian, named Crocus Wing, I have never seen him or met him in person. I think I'm gonna help help." She spoke as loud as she could without yelling so everyone you hear her.
Her hair was in a messy braid, falling over her left shoulder, she was wearing a baggy T-Shirt, jeans and a cute pair of sketchers. It was a Miracle she hadn't stepped in horse droppings yet. She admired the horses that stood behind some of the other equestrian students. She made a face. Wow, that's one pretty pony. She looked back up at Brooke, then the Barn. Ho-ly Sheets. she was wondering how she had even gotten accepted. Now.. where the hell is my horse?

Heather Proudstorm | 17 | Beginner | Nightmare "Prince" | Eventing | M: Brooke & Alden Camden, Athea Moss, Catherine Bergman, Open.

Once the young girl got her equine to settle down fully, she brought him to a halt while keeping a firm grip of the lead in her left hand. She looked over to where Toby is. "Ok, break." Once she said this, the dog picked up his leash before padding over to her. The brunette softly smiled at her dog before petting his head a bit then gently takes the leash back into her grasp with her right hand.

Her green eyes gazed over all the other Equestrian students with their beloved equines. She would be lying that she didn't feel nervous at all, How the hell did we even get accepted into this? she thought. She was just a beginner and she hasn't been riding for to long as both her and her gelding didn't see one another eye to eye at times but so far they got along with each other.

Heather took notice of the Siblings, taking notice of when Prince was starting to pin his ears at the man while his dark brown eyes narrowed. She held the lead rope a lot more firmly in her left hand.

Once she heard the introductions, she cleared her throat a bit then began to introduce herself. Her voice held a soothing tone, "Hello, I'm Heather Proudstorm. I erm, I came from Florida and I started riding when I was 16." a shy smile made its way to her lips, "This is my gelding, Prince. and this is my dog, Toby." She added, it felt normal to her to introduce her animals to them as well..Right?

Heather would be wearing a black beanie, a white t-shirt with a black printed skull on it, black fingerless studded gloves, faded grey ripped jeans, and black combat ankle boots. Her eyes studied every single person, the young girl felt a little out of place since she wasn't wearing her riding clothes, those were stuffed in her suitcase.

Catherine Bergman || Mentions: Camden Simblings, Anthea, Heather.
Tamlin pressed into her side gently as the ebony-haired siblings emerged. The two were nearly identical, down to the spatter of freckles across their attractive features. The girl reminded Catherine of the faeries she read about as a girl. The boy seemed like a sentry carved from stone, impassive and quiet by his sister's side. Alden and Brooke. Those were their names. Shortly after, a girl, who seemed older than she spoke up, Anthea. This girl too seemed nice but nervous and confused, Catherine was sure her own face revealed much the same.
She raised her hand to her loosely curled hair and brushed it behind her ear, the lead rope wound around it tugging the locks slightly.
"I am Catherine Bergman, Im from Germany originally but I lived in Washington for a year before this."
She gestured to the grand barns on either side of the group and Tamlin tossed his head, awaiting his introduction.
"This is Tamlin, as you can see he is very excited to be here."
She eyed the siblings before her and she hoped the group would find some humor in her statement. She forced a soft smile and looked quickly at the others before back to the barns and mountains beyond. It seemed as though they were all nervous, a fact that should have put her at ease but somehow made her feel even more alone. If even one of them seemed as excited as Brooke maybe being the new kids wouldn't be so hard.
Catherine looked up once more and took in the group's attire. Only one of them (Brooke) seemed armed and ready for a ride, though Catherine was not opposed to riding in what she now wore. In Washington, she had ridden in layers upon layers of water-proof and wind-proof jackets and chunky rain boots. Eyeing the snowy mountains she assumed that would soon be switched for fleece and fur.
To be honest, she was not entirely sure which outfit she prefered.
