Nydra was getting excited as she heard the sound of other horses coming from the big barn, it was quite different from what they were used to, usually barns that Emily and Nydra boarded at were quiet, small and messy, but this.... this was a whole another feeling, this barn was huge and very gorgeous, it didn’t take to long for them to find stall #1. Emily tied Nydra to the stall whilst she set up the bedding, "Right, so please don’t mess this up right away Nydra... " Emily told her horse, Nydra wasn’t paying to much attention as she was fonder over the horse that was in stall #6.

"Alright Nydra, bedding is all done! I'll let you settle down a bit, then maybe I'll find out when we can go on a hack! maybe someone will join us!" Emily led her mare into her stall and undid her halter, "lets see... what can we do with all this stuff-" picking up her dark sage green wheelbarrow filled with tack, brushes, shampoos all of the stuff thats needed for a horse, Emily simply moved it out the way of the isle so she could go and get herself settled before organizing everything.

Opening her map reminded Emily just how big this stable was, "Cabin B! Thats.... kind of far, better get going then..." She fed Nydra a apple before leaving the barn to set off to find her cabin where she'd soon meet her roommate and possibly make a new friend. Emily passed a giant lush pasture with a barn next to it, along with a indoor arena and it did not seem to disappoint! Finally, she got to her cabin and found that her roommate had not yet arrived, but that her bags had. Emily didn’t want to be rude, as first impressions are everything, so she set her suitcase and carry on in a corner of the room, and her back-pack on a couch. Energized from all the excitement Emily decided to go ask when they could take their horses on a hack or in the arenas.

Nyellie arrived on campus only to realise she was late! she quickly scurried into the building ahead and grabbed her paper, it was quite ironic as she was also later then everyone last year when she first came to Golden Satchel! Since this year she was leasing from the stables she didnt need to get her horse from a trailer and simply headed towards her cabin! "Haha! Cabin B! Just like last year! Hopefully this year is even better!" whilst dragging her bags behind her she ran into a decently tall, young women, with gorgeous brown hair, "Im so sorry! I wasn't really looking where I was going!" the other girl seemed to be very sweet about the encounter and had offered to help her with her bags!

"Im Nyellie by the way, thank you so much for helping me! Is this your first time here?" Turns out it was! and her names Emily! Nyellie found it crazy how it turns out they were actually roommates, Nyellie claimed the bed closest to the door just as she did last year, leaving the bed on the right for Emily. "Oh? You didnt know? Well we can ride whenever we want but ide suggest giving your horse a day to settle as last year, well, I got decked when I tried to ride the first day" her roommate was greatful for the info, and they both started to get to know each other whilst unpacking their clothes and hanging up any pictures they brought along!

Emily had woken up with excitement, it was day two of this exciting journey here at Golden Satchel stables. Nyellie hadnt yet woken up, but she had gotten in later last night so it wasnt a big surprize. Emily threw on some sweatpants, a hoodie, and then made her way down to her horse (Nydra) the sun had not yet come out so it was harder for her to see but she had a idea of which way to go.

Finnally, she got to the big barn and headed to Nydra, she forgot that she hadn't moved the boxes/wheelbarrow with all her stuff yet, so that was one of the first things she did before making a hay net with some hay she had brought, mixed with some they supplied at the stables, "There you go lovely, maybe later ill hand walk you around? Get you used to this place more!" Nydra didnt care for what Emily was saying, all she knew was that she had a haynet in front of her. Emily decided to go organize her stuff in the tack room, found her saddle rack, bridle rack and her little cubby/locker.

Kieran Jones | Advanced Rider | Horse: JFR Hot on the Rocks (Mamba) | M: None

The afternoon sun hung high, glinting off of the truck's hood as the driver made his way down the road. At some point Kieran donned his sunglasses, and occasionally he'd raise his fingers in greetings to other drivers or would look down at the screen depicting his horse, happily munching on hay during the drive. The roads eventually became long and empty, lined with fences and adorned with the occasional horse or herd of cattle in the flowing green pastures. A sign indicates a turn off, and the empty road became a long gravel drive. The man looks at the sign as he passes under it: Golden Satchel Stables. His drowsiness turns into an excited grin as reality sets in.

The drive went smoothly and now he had officially arrived at his soon-to-be new home. He pockets the key, stopping to greet his horse through the bars on the trailer window, before joining the line to check in and receive his stall and room assignments. Documents in hand, he returns to his truck and drops the papers in the seat, taking a final look at his stall number. An inpatient screaming neigh sounds from the trail soon followed by a nose trying to squeeze through the window. Kieran chuckles, poking at the horse's nose on his way to the back of the trailer.

"Hey, boy. Let's get you settled in, yeah?" He greets the horse, clipping a lead to the halter before unloading him. Once the horse's hooves touch the pavement of the lot, he tosses his head and prances, tugging to get a better view at the commotion and other horses. A couple little hops and small rears garners the attention of a few others unloading as well, and Kieran offers an apologetic smile and wave of his hand. The man turns the horse, shushing him until he settles into a prancey trot as they head towards the barn. Mamba, although familiar with the constant traveling and commotion that came with new places, still enjoyed making sure his presence was known. At some point in the walk the horse had settled down and meandered calmly next to his owner, ears alert. Kieran finds his stall, turning the horse loose inside before closing the door.

He chuckles, "Spicy today, are we? Don't worry Mamba, I'll give you time to stretch your legs a bit later."

He passes a treat to the horse before turning and hurrying back to his truck. He spots the cabins, tucked between trees and other flora. They were cozy, just as described, but now his task at hand was to find the one he was assigned to. He collects his bags, deciding to move his tack later to avoid the crowded barn, and makes his way towards the cabins. Once found, although with the help of the documents from his check in, he nudges open the door and pauses to catch his breath. Again, they were cozy. The space was smaller than the outside looked. He drops his bags, careful to avoid the doorway, and joins them on the floor. Sprawled out on his back, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, hoping to wait for his roommate before deciding which bed to take.
