Keelan O'Brien | Owner/Dressage Trainer | M: Juliet, Callum, Charles, all Keelan's eyes search over the crowd, catching on the retreating figure at the back of the group. His brows crease in curiosity, and confusion, but he smiles once he sees who the mysterious figure was: Juliet, Staghaven's only, so far, working student. Her work ethic was beyond what she had put in her application, and she strived to excel at her job despite how tricky it could be. He nos to himself, knowing it was the best choice to invite her along. She could use the break before things truly picked up. Keelan looks back over the group, now all collected in one big conglomerate of horses and riders. Perfect. A final headcount, last checks, and his voice rings over the courtyard, "Everyone seems present, and those who aren't can't really miss us so should be able to catch up quickly. Trainers, find your spots among the group. One does need to go at the end, so rock-paper-scissors over who gets it I guess? If that is everything, let's head out." He clicks and tugs the lead for Poko to wake up and follow, which she does begrudgingly. The crunch of hooves softens to a thud as they start down the worn grass path between the paddocks. Grumps seemed interested in the horses behind the fencing, and a few foals had come up to follow them, jumping and running with little squeals. The excitement seemed to catch the attention of some of the mothers as well. A few lifted their heads to watch the procession, wildflowers and grass hanging from their mouth with a delicate late morning glow. The stallion calls back, tossing his head to play along with the babies. Keelan chuckles, "Everybody, meet Staghaven's newest crop of potential world-class winners." ---- I want to get started now, but I filled this with random place fillers for those still catching up or that aren't available at the moment :) |

Anastasia Greyson (Anne) | Female | 26yrs | Rider | M: Taz, Keelan, Open . Seeing everyone begin the trail Anne clucked and nudged Taz on as he seemed a bit distracted by the other horses, It was a lot being around so many horses for a young stallion but she just hoped he'd pull through alright. With one last pat on the neck Anne sat up properly and looked ahead only turning her head when Keelan mentioned foals. Feeling Taz slowly drift closer to the fence Anne discouraged him and pulled him back in line "Not today" She chuckled to herself hearing him snort, "Snorty dragon again I see, Yeah i know it's a new path" She mumbled. . Tazzy Land (Taz) | Stallion | 5yrs | SJ | M: Anne, Broodmares & Foals, Open . Flaring his nostrils Taz looked around observing the foals and broodmares in the field before turning his attention back to the new smells and scenes, Snorting curiously he walked along as his rider cued. Ears pricked forward Taz had a bit of pep in his step eager to see what was ahead of the path they were on and what today had in store for them . Reinas Chamber (Reina) | Mare | 14yrs | SJ | M: Open . In her stall feeling left out Reina gathered they'd left by now for whatever they were doing, Letting out a long nicker Reina wanted to see if anyone else was left behind like her surely she wasn't the only one. Stretching her head out the stall door Reina tried looking for herself if she could spot another four legged, After a few moments she relaxed back and waited. |

Heather Storm | 22yrs | Eventing Rider | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | M: Keelan, All Heather seemed quite in awe from the beauty of the facility, listening to Keelan's words while following the group of other riders. Eclipse would spot the broodmares and foals, it wasn't long til the stallion started getting riled up as the stud let out a loud neigh, following up with bit of a sideways prance to obviously show off. The brunette tried to suppress a laugh from slipping out of her soft lips as she managed to get the KWPN stud somewhat calmed down, bringing him into a kinda tight circle to hopefully get him to calm down all the way so he'll be manageable to handle again. "Nope, we are not here to flirt with the broods today. Ya silly stud." Heather softly said this to her equine before getting him to walk on, breaking off from the circle. She would have earned an ear pinned from Eclipse, playfully rolled her eyes at her stud before leaning forward a bit to pat his neck gently with her left hand. "Yeah yeah, love you too sourpuss." She quietly said to her equine again. Etria | The Lovely Marisol | Mare | 4yrs | Eventing | M: Reina, Open The dapple grey mare would be by herself since her owner left with Eclipse for the camp out. The mare flicked her tail before beginning to munch on the leftover hay that Etria didn't finish eating this morning. The equine would hear some of the other horses that still remained, Etria would have noticed movement from the corner of her eye which has successfully caught the mare's attention. The dappled grey Andalusian mare moved away from the haynet as she goes over to the stall door, sticking her head out as the mare turns her head to look over to see Reina, becoming quite curious of the other mare as she let out a bit of a loud nicker with her ears perked forward in curiosity. |

Alila Moore- Smoke Signals (sig) M- Aster, open. ------- Ali smiled happily at his compliment. "Well i guess you might see, or rather hear for yourself later." she concluded, taking up the reins again. "Ooh, swimming sounds fun." She said after she heard somebody, probably Keelan or Callum, mention stopping for a swim. "Once, when i lived in France, me and Sig went swimming in a lake. It was amazing." She recalled to Aster. Alila enjoyed his company, he was an easy person to talk and relate to. She quickly double checked that she had everything she needed in case she or sig could get injured, as well as things like bedding and food. Once she was satisfied that she had all of her things together and in place, she gave Sig a feather light squeeze to signal to move forward with the rest of the group, who seemed to be slowly moving out of the barn and towards the tracks outside. |

Aster Kalfling| eventing student | 'Trigger Happy ' | All , Open - Hooves started moving, and Trig followed without being asked. Being the excitable horse he is, he immediately tried to to canter a head of the group, but Aster diminished those wants with a short pull on the reins, and waited a same one or to until he was next to Alila and Sig.Asters eyes drifted and on sere ed the trail ahead of them, he wondered how long it would take them to get there. Not that he wouldn't enjoy the journey, riding Trig was always a delight, even when his eyes were kept firmly on a group of brood mares, causing him to trip. He didn't fall, just a little stumble , though it did give Aster a mini heart attack "Trig you silly animal, watch where your going" . He heard Alila start to talk about her experiences swimming , whipping his head round at an almost worrying speed. "wait, we're going swimming?" That has to be the worst thing he could imagine, but at least Trig would have fun right?He how's he wouldn't get forced to go in water, but the trainers all seemed nice, so assumed they wouldn't. It just weather other riders peer pressure him or not, see he didn't know what all of them were like seeing how he'd only spoken to Alila |

Alila Moore - Smoke Signals (sig) - M- Aster, open. ---------- Alila laughed lightly at Trig getting so excited, enjoying hte hustle and bustle of all the horses moving together along the scenic, dusty path. "Yeah, i think so, why?" She asked, her eyes questioning and a little concerned at his worry. Sig felt light on the reins and wasnt pulling, and she could tell that he and Trig had already made friends with eachother. The two were happily walking side by side, with some of the riders and horses a little further ahead and some further behind. She was glad that there wasnt so many horses that they would be all cramped together. The birds sang beautifully in the overhead trees and she could hear happy chatter from the riders, and some delighted neighs from the horses up ahead of them. (sorry short!) |

Callum Santiago | SJ Instructor | Ty | M: All Callum decided to take one for the team and ride in the back, at least for the way out. His mount waited patiently for everyone to go before taking up the last spot. Callum was pleased that he could still here Keelan. Looking to his left he saw the group of gangly foals. Bean gave a snort but continued in what seemed to be his quiet manner. Callum continued along the trail listening to the tour and watching the riders. Everything was going good so far. He was happy. Ajaya Sharma | Rider | Kodi | M: Open Ajay found herself and Kodi in somewhat the middle of the group, she was doing okay. No body was crowding her. Kodi was still comfortable. The smiled at the foal, noticing one with an adorable snip. That looked sorta like Kodi did as a baby. Says wasn't one for camping but she was excited for the laid back trip before the hardcore stuff happened. |

Skye Lovato | 21 yrs | Female | Eventing Rider | M: All Skye gently nudged Nickel forward when the group started moving. He was in a good mood today and happily followed the other horses, excited for the ride. Skye looked around at all of the riders, wondering what they were like and trying to decide who to talk to first. Usually she would have been talking with everyone by now but she arrived late and that was one thing she surely hated. But maybe now that they were riding she would start making some friends, and hopefully Nicky would too. He turned and whinnied to the foals in the field as he walked by, probably hoping to play with them. He was a big baby after all, very snuggly and playful. She patted Nickel and thought a bit about what might be next on this trail ride. She heard someone mention swimming and smiled, thinking about the times she took her old pony Panda swimming a couple times. She never took Nickel swimming, so she hopes he will like it. He certainly liked the water jumps on the cross country courses. |

Keelan O'Brien | Owner/Dressage Trainer | M: All The group reaches the towering trees lining the important aspect of the property. The path narrowed, now only one or two able to ride comfortably together. It wasn't difficult, other than a few branches fallen over the path since they last cleared it, and the ten minute hike through the trees eventually opens to a large meadow. Normally it held cattle or sheep, but they were moved earlier. Now the space was cropped grass, vibrant green with splotches of colors from flowers. Keelan sets to the side of the gate, watching the group pass, "If you want, since some seemed eager to go, you can race to your hearts content. Just gather at the very back. Otherwise, enjoy the sun and relax. Pick some flowers. We have a couple hours of trees and meadow left to tackle. And if you want to your horse to get an early drink, there should be a pond to the left. This is essentially your time to be free. Enjoy it." Once everyone had cleared, he makes his way back towards the front, meandering at a slow walk. His reins sit on Grump's withers, and he uses his hands to lean back on the horse's rump as they make their way, extremely slowly albeit, to the trees beyond this last pasture. |
