Zara was about to move in but when Keith arrived she opted to just continue her tasks. The vets had control of the situation. She moved onto the next stall, Harold. A large Clydesdale with an injury to his left pastern, exturnal damage that was left untreated to the point there is an infection. The wound has been cleaned now, and wrapped but the horse shows signs of sickness. So they have to conduct more tests.
Zara quite likes Harold, a gentle stallion that has a kind nature. Een when in pain he does not cause issues. Sadly the injury to the leg could cause long lasting effects, but they will have to wait and see.

Anastasia moved so Keith could see and continued to observe the mare not wanting to intervene unless she had to, The mares pushing started to slow down as it got to the foals shoulders struggling to move the foal Anne took hold of the foals front legs near the hooves and pulled when she next had a contraction letting the foal slide out the rest of the way. She let Keith clear the foals airway and do what needed to be done while she checked the mare . Heidi still nosy looked over yet again and eyed the brown foal that had only a large blaze on it's face and a white mark on it's hip the rest of it's body was a plain brown, Nickering she tried talking to the foal but stopped when the mother glared at her leaning forward and looking back sniffing the foal.

Jayden patted a milky brown colored mare"Easy girl"he cooed as he led her in circles, she was limping a bit and tossed her head up."Hey,hey I know your leg hurts but you need to get some time outside!"he said shaking his head.He walked into the barn and noticed what was going"Sorry I missed it!I was outside leading this mare.Did everything go well?Is she okay?"Jay asked and put the mare he was leading back in her stall. He walked up to the stall door and looked in.

"Well hello, Keith smiled at the foal, clearing its airway. It was a bay with a large blaze and a white marking on its hip. He stroked the foal. "The foal is healthy." (Colt or filly?)

(Filly :) ) . Anastasia made sure the mare didn't tear or have any issues on the inside and gave her some meds to ease any cramps or post birth pains and something to help the placenta drop, Finished helping the mare she wrote down some more notes on how the birth went before getting a photo of the two. "Gender?" She asked Keith as her pen hovered over the blank part of the paper just behind the word 'Colt/Filly', After a minute the mare got up with a snort as the foals back feet quickly slipped out and the umbilical cord wasn't connected anymore she moved around to the foal lowering her head and grooming it with her gentle pink tongue. there was quite a bit of chatter as the mare talked to her foal and the little foal nickered right back making Anne try and hide her tears of joy as there was yet another healthy foal

Once Zara finished the Clydesdale she completed the last two stalls, that of a pair of old welsh mares, both caught chest infections and are in for treatment, but due to their age and lack of funds from the owner at this time, it is slow progress. Both chill and easy going she was quick to move them and finish the stalls.
By that time the foal had been birthed and there were a few vets around. Zara stood by Jayden as she too peaked in to get a glips of the newborn. Which was a beautiful sight to see another life being brought into the world. "You are seeing the best part then Jay," Zara informed with a grin, nudging his shoulder.

Stepping into the stable aisle from the staff room, Wren was stifling a yawn. In one hand was a fresh mug of coffee, steam rising enticingly from the lid. She had just woken up from her mandatory nap - working 24 hours straight through the previous night; by the end of the shift she wasn't helpful to anyone, thus sentenced to time away, a shower, and some grub. The young brunette was all to happy to get back into the swing of things, and honestly hated missing any of the action. Especially when it had been so packed lately. From cute foals being born, mares being bred, stallions collected, and of course the normal rounds of care to other horses - it was always busy in the veterinarian's office. Wren glanced over to the white board on the wall that was kept updated as to everyone's locations, their current condition, and the care provided. She was eager to get into the thick of things, but also knew as an experienced vet tech, when the going got wild, a lot of the boring, tedious and the 'domestic' chores often got left to the weigh side. Just as she'd assumed, a huge pile of laundry had been built up, of course left neglected when compared with spending time saving lives. She also noted the sink was overflowing with items and the surgical tools were piled up as well. She'd have to package a few trays and set the autoclave going. She couldn't help but sighing at the growing chore list. No doubt a couple stalls needed to be picked and at least one stall needed to be stripped and scrubbed clean for the next patient. Wren closed her eyes, took a deep breath, a long sip of coffee then set to work on her list. The sooner things were taken care of, the sooner she could be in there helping the vets keep their patients happy, healthy, and alive. And cuddle some adorable newborns!

Heidi yawned her head lowered as she chilled in her stall happy the noise next door had died down to a few people talking, She pricked her ears forward when Anne emerged from the stall and gave her a few pats looking a little tired. She gave a soft snort lipping at her hand seeing if she had any treats making her chuckle . "Silly mare" Anne smiled and looked back at the other mare happy the foal was now up and nursing, She would take Heidi out on a little stroll later to stretch her legs since she was an escape artist in the pasture and that was currently being fixed but right now she needed a little break. Glancing back at the mare and her small bump she turned on her heels and make her way to the break room
