Elena Trempe | Rider (helps paige out when needed) | Koko | M:Paige, Lorry Driver, open Elena had just walked into her room when her phone binged. She looked down at it to see who had messaged her and cursed, dropping her stuff in the middle of the room, turning around, and running outside, texting the driver back. Lorry Driver "Pulling in now, which fork do I take?" sent 11:53am Elena "Right one" "I'll be right there, I'll get the boys Paige, it's no trouble to me." sent 11:54 Paige "Great! I have briefing in 5 minutes so I won't make it. Thanks Elena!" sent 11:55 Elena, put her phone in her pocket and made it down to the parking lot just in time to see the huge lorry pull in a park. She jogged over happy to see the boys. One of them let out a whistling call. With the help of the driver they opened the back and took out Koko and Patch. She would be back for Laddie as he was a little more wild than Patch and Koko. She led the boys into Stable A and towards stalls 67, 68, and 69. She stopped them outside their stalls and quickly pulled off their rugs and shipping boots reavealing the shinny, sleak, fit bodies of the black stallion and paint gelding. She turn them loose into their stalls and each getting a cookie from the bags hanging by their stalls. She went back out to where Laddie was causing a commotion in the large trailer. She quickly got him out and was leading him across the yard when he suddenly stopped, planted his feet, and let out a piercing call. He reared up, pawing at the air, eyes rolling wildly. Elena gave his lead rope a quick jerk, wishing she had put his stud chain over his nose instead of clipping it to the ring under the chin of his halter. Paige Skipper | Event Trainer | Patch, Laddie, Mars | M: Elena, Lorry Driver, Open Paige was grateful for Elena being able to get Patch and Laddie from the Lorry Driver and to their stalls. She hoped Laddie wouldn't be too much of an issue, but who knows with him, especially since he was in a new environment. She made a mental note to make sure to pay the driver a good sized tip since he had to deal with that unruly stallion. Paige then opened up the group chat that had been made for the trainers and asked "Hi everyone, I'm Paige. I am the new eventing instructor. Do you know where the instructor briefing is meant to be held again, I somehow lost the email 🤦♀️😅." sent 11:56am |

Callum Santiago | Owner | Ty | M: Instructors Callum checked his watch. 11:57. He grabbed his official looking clipboard and headed for the office/lounge area. He hoped that all the instructors. Or most of them at least, would make their way their for an introduction and schedule debriefing. Ajaya Sharma | Rider | Kodi | M: Ophelia "Oh!" Ajay said caught a bit of gaurd. "I'm not necessarily lost, just looking for one of my instructors. I want to make sure there's nothing I need to do before lessons start." She spoke quickly and animatedly. Ramira Palmer | Dressage, Liberty, Horsemanship Instructor | Mars | M: Eli Remi flipped a bucket and sat down, she started working over the saddle in front of her. "I'm Remi," she introduced. "Ramira actually, but I think that name is a bit much." She countined working if the saddle, settling into the silence. She was a bit inwardly started when Eli spoke. "Dressage mainly, but also Liberty and Horsemanship." She said, "best case scenario is those things combined." Laughing softly, Remi looked up. "A wild guess, but I'd say your the racing instructor?" Leon Maxwell | Horseball, SJ, XC Instructor | Ivor | M: Leon had made it back to Ivor's stalk for just a bit, before he had to head to the briefing. He saw a small group of people meandering that way, and he fell in with them. Emmett Anderson | Reining, Cutting, W Pleasure Instructor | Zodiac | M: Emmet stood and folded his chair, propping it up on the wall by Zodiac. Emmet then checked the directions, as this place was confusing and headed for the briefing area. |

Tessa Hart | 29 F | Barn Manager Hunters | Pragmatic ∴ Honor Location: Barn | Tags: Open Sometimes you just had to drop what you were doing and have a dance party. The barn was completely empty with no one in sight. The new staff and riders weren't supposed to arrive for several hours and Tessa was busy getting the barn as absolutely spotless as she could. She'd already wiped down the tack room and the feed room, restocked the grooming area with just about anything anyone could want from hoof ointments and liniments, shampoos and detanglers, and all sorts of funk-be-gone. Her current task was sweeping the last remaining dust out of the aisle and knock down any enterprising spiders' architectures. Her only companion was the lazy barn cat napping on a tack trunk that happened to be collecting the only sun spot filtering through a stall window. So when the wild hair and a good song came piping through the overhead stereo, who was she to stop herself from getting down. ♫ ...did Venus blow your mind?

And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there? ♫ Using the wooden handle as a microphone, Tessa did her best lip-sync impression of the Train song, just rocking her best self. With the conclusion of the song and the radio transitioning to a slower song, the barn manager turned back to the task at hand. ∴ It had been a bit of an anxious morning - the people were arriving, and Tessa was doing her best to keep everything organized. Sometimes it's easier to control the chaos when there's only a couple of factors - she could easily manage a twenty horse facility, but start adding all the instructors, boarders, and new students - then it became a bit of herding cats. Orderly papers on a clipboard barely helped when she was bombarded with hundreds of questions all at once by the eager new clients. Tessa's usually tidy french braid was slowly becoming fly-away nightmare as the strands frizzled around her face. Her cellphone chimed in her pants pocket, and the front screen showed an alert about the Instructors' meeting scheduled at noon. She swiped the screen and cleared the alarm. She took a moment in her office to attempt to pin her bronze locks back into a tidy plait. Grabbing a quick sip of coffee, and she was ready to face the next wave of visitors. Seeing the gorgeous horses stepping off the lorries and out of their boxes was exhilarating - she was so excited to meet them and see how Moss Grove could help them! A beep on her watch reminded her to head off to the lounge and check in with Callum. Tessa was unsure whether he wanted her at the Instructors' meeting or helping the boarding clients settle in. "Hello Mr. Santiago!" She called with enthusiasm. "It's been a fantastic morning so far. How are you doing? Do you need anything?" Tessa asked the facility owner. |

Mr. Santiago is way to formal, plus it makes me feel old." He chuckled a bit. "No hiccups so far," he agreed holding up his crossed fingers. "I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking. I'm on my way for the instructor briefing. You could come introduce yourself if you'd like." |

Elena Trempe | Rider (helps paige out when needed) | Koko | M: Trainer Group, Paige, Open Elena was able to get the stallion to put all four feet on the ground long enough to coax the stallion forward. He kept the forward motion, but had decided that he wanted to preform airs above the grounds movements, by rearing, bucking, and striking out the rest of the way across the drive and part of the way into the barn. She eventually managed to have the stallion stand still long enough to change the chain to over his nose so she had more control. As she was walking down the isle she passed a group of people heading towards what looked to be the lounge. She guessed that they were instructors and we heading to the briefing. Elena hoped Paige would spot them and join them, knowing how easily her trainer could forget and lose things. Elena gets Laddie into his stall with no more incidents. She gave him a treat before going and taking Koko out of his stall. She brought him into the isle, looped the lead rope through the halter ring, trusting him to stand, before starting to brush and prep him for a quick lounge in the arena and a hand walk around the property afterwards. Paige Skipper | Event Trainer | Patch, Laddie, Mars | M: Group of Instructors, Callum, Tessa It took Paige a couple of minutes of searching, but she eventually stumbled upon a group of instructors walking together, she fell in with them and eventually they made their way into the lounge where two people were already there having a conversation.
"Hello, my name is Paige! I am the new eventing instructor, is this where the briefing is supposed to happen?" She asked, stepping forward.
