Drake pulled into the parking lot, stopping his truck and trailer next to Barn A, where Wayne's stall was located. He hopped out of his black pickup, glad to be stretching his legs after the drive. Drake's black shorts and red flannel hoodie billowed in the fall breeze as he walked around the truck to unlock his trailer and unload Wayne. He attached a lead rope to his horse's halter, backing him down the ramp and led him into the barn, and stopped at stall 23. The stall had a gold engraved name plate, reading Weezy Outta Here. Drake unlocked the stall and made his way in with Wayne following. Drake knew that there were stable hands to take care of it, but he still checked for hay and full water buckets, having developed a nervous habit at his old barn. Taking off Wayne's shipping halter, he gave the large bay horse a kiss on the nose before locking the stall. Drake's running shoes squeaked on the barn floor as he walked back to the trailer to grab his trunk, and the rest of Wayne's things. He was happy to find the tack room right next to Wayne's stall and he set his trunk down underneath an empty bridle rack and saddle rack. Drake removed the tack from his trunk, placing it on the bare racks above. Once he was content with his tack situation, he walked out of the tack room to move Wayne's blankets into the blanket bag hanging in front of the stall. Glad to have finished unpacking his supplies, Drake gave one more kiss to his horse's soft nose. Walking with purpose, Drake quickly reached his truck, he removed all his possessions from the back seat of the pickup. He saw the dorms sitting near the barn and made a beeline for the one labeled 'Cabin A1.'

Finnally after waiting awhile Cade decided to go unpack. He didn't see anyone in the main house so he might as well do somthing productive. He saw someone take their horse into the barn that Jazzy was in. Once Cade found Cabin A1 he unlocked it was the key he was given. He saw his suitcase on the bed on the left, nearest the bathroom. He took it off the bed and opened it. He had brought everything he needed and immediately took out his phone carger. He hooked it up to the outlet and plugged his phone in. He had a couple texts from Shelly asking if he had gotten settled in. He responed, telling her that he was doing fine. Cade set his phone down and began to put his clothes away. He went into the bathroom and changed out of his travel clothes, putting on some grey sweatpants and a white hoddie with flecks of grey that read "Statue of Liberty - New York". Feeling a little more comfortable he put the rest of his clothes away in time for the door handel to turn. Cade began to figet with his fingers, this was it. His roomate.

Peter knew that he was late. He was very well aware, actually. He might as well have been called a psychic. Last night it had been a passing thought to himself, a thought that ended with him asking Luvaine and Adelle if they might be able to greet the newcomers and direct them to the main house after getting settled so he would have one less thing to do. It would save him at least an hour or two, yet despite all of that he was still late. He was right to worry, apparently. Desti had been acting strange this morning, so he had gotten occupied making sure his mare wasn't sick or injured in some kind of way. Much to his relief, she seemed fine but he would probably have to call Cindy anyways and ask her to make a small checkup just in case. Desti was an old mare after all, but he doubted it was her time yet. She acted fairly young for her age, and still performed like she was in her prime. One less thing for him to worry about. Nevertheless though, Peter quickly made his way from the stables where Desti was staying, barn B with Luvaine's horse Chant, and entered into the main house to see if anyone was here. The house itself was whitewashed with dark wood flooring, and immediately from the door was a hallway to the left and right. Directly in front of him across the hall was a large spacious area, the dining room and also the place he would make the announcements. Down the right side of the hall was his office and stairs that lead up to the second floor where he slept and was decidedly off limits. The left side of the hall was used as storage, but also had a bathroom with medical supplies in case of emergencies. For now, Peter just stepped across the hall into the large dining room and busied himself to wait for the riders to start coming in so he could give the orientation.

As the other boy was unpacking Cade sat and watched him. He was a lot taller than Cade, and more filled out. He was deffinatlly muscular. He had black hair and an overall intimidating look. Cade went on his phone and began to fidget with his nails. Once the other boy was done unpacking he spoke to Cade. "Oh um hi, im Cade. Its nice to meet you too." Cade looked up and saw he was smiling down at him. He didnt seem terriblly mean, he just looked it. Cade wanted to keep the conversation going and racked his brain for conversation starters to help him get to know his roomate better. "So I heard we had some sort of orentation soon, in the main house. I can um show you if you want." Cade tried not to seem desprate for Drake to like him. It would be akwared for him and Drake not to get alone but it wouldn't be anything Cade hadn't delt with before. Because of his scrawnyer build he was picked on a decent amount so as long as him and Drake were aquanted it shouldn't be horrible.

The other boy, Cade, seemed nice but terribly nervous. Drake ran his hand through his hair, genuinely trying to look a little less intimidating. He knew he definitely wasn't showing it, but Drake was a bit nervous to meet people and get going. He was plugging his chargers into the wall, making sure his airpods were plugged in when Cade spoke again. He looked back up at the other boy, his hair falling into his eyes.

"Yeah, I'd appreciate that, just give me a moment" he replied keeping his smile from earlier. Drake really hoped him and Cade would become friends as it would be awkward and just overall no fun if they didn't get along. Drake continued to take things out of his backpack. A couple books, a pair of grey sweat pants, which looked quite similar to the ones Cade was wearing, some gum (watermelon of course), and a black beanie that typically lived in his backpack. He moved the hat into his night stand's drawer next to his gum. A gatorade water bottle sat on top next to the lamp, and his books were sitting in the open, lower area of the night stand. Drake's sweatpants were moved into the closet with his other pants. Now that he was fully unpacked, he let Cade know he'd like to go to the main house.

"Okay." Cade watched yet again as Drake unpacked more of his stuff. He seemed quite nice and Cade began to feel a little less anxious. Even if they didn't get along Drake seemed like a respectful and respectable person. Cade was startled from his thoughts as Drake told him he was ready to go to the main house. "Alright, lets go." Cade slipped his phone in his pocket as well as an acupuncture ring. He found orientations borning and liked to fidget so he brought it along. He walked out of the cabin with Drake and walked over to the main house. "This is the main house, Ive only been inside it once so I dont know where the orentation is but this is the house." Cade began to fiddle with the ring in his pocket. He heard Jazzy call out to what Cade assumed was another horse. He let out a small smile. "That was my horse, Jazz. He's very loud." Hearing Jazz made Cade feel more at ease and he began to drop the tension in his shoulders. So far the program wasn't bad at all. Shelly would be proud of him he thought.

It took Wisteria everything she had in her to not spin around when she heard the person behind her. Calm. She took a deep breath and turned around more slowly.

"Wisteria. I'm looking for my cabin. C2. If you could just point the way, that would be great." Wisteria had the feeling that neither of them really wanted to be having this conversation, but rather it was a necessity for Adelle like it was for her. If she hadn't had her suitcase she would have just wandered into one of the barns and taken a look at the horses there, if she was lucky, she would have found Chance and she could hang out with him and have gotten a break. However, until she got her darn suitcase put away, that would not be an option.

Wait, I should probably thank her shouldn't I? While she wasn't here to make friends, she didn't want to make an enemy of a stable hand on the first day. She knew from experience that they could be nasty if you got on their bad side. "Thank you," she said grudgingly.

Mist Chandler || 16 || Female || Angel's Dance (Angle)

As the truck neared Mallow Grove Stables, Mist's family was getting a bit oppressive. "You guys, I'll be fine. I can just hang out with Angle if it ever gets to be too much. 'Sides, I know my limits and if I need to leave I will let you know." Her family still did not look quite convinced. "I'll make sure to call at least once a week, okay?" "They know you can look after yourself, they are just worried. I know you will do great there." Maya's words seemed to mark the conversation as done, that or the fact that they had just pulled up to the A barn. Mist hopped out and went around to the trailer, grabbed Angle, and lead her into the barn. She got the mare settled into her stall and gave her a little kiss on the nose before going back out to the trailer to grab all of Angle's tack and put it away. When she found what looked to be a tack room pretty close to Angel's stall she put her tack away as neatly as she could. There was no point in doing something sloppy when you would only have to fix it later. That done, she grabbed her suitcase and started to head toward cabin A3.

Cindy check the mare out and said "are you sure you didn't leave her with a stallion " Steve said "no that I can remember but I know I left for week and had a stable boy take care of them so he might be the one who might put her in with a stallion " Cindy nods and said " oh I understand that can't trust stable hands as well " before she walks to her side and checks her belly before saying "sir I believe your horse might be in foal " Steve nods and said " thank you Cindy " before Cindy nods and walks back to her truck and said " I'll check on her every 2 months " Steve nods and waves bye to her as she drove back to her home waiting for another phone call as she decided to get her something to eat and drink
