Appearance: Cam, as he likes to be called, is a typical jock. He has blonde, sunbleached hair which hangs on one side until his shoulders. The other side of his head is almost shaved, the hair cut short. He stands at about 2.1 metres, with tanned skin. From Australia, he speaks with a drawl and enjoys adding slang that only Australians would understand. He often wears a silver chain necklace around his neck, a sun-shaped pendant dangling from the bottom. His smile is indulgant, his almost unnaturally blue eyes sparkling.

Demon From Hell

Riding experience: Sakura learnt to ride when she was 6, having had no previous contact with them. She has competed in a few national events, joining the under 18 squad when she was 17. Sadly though, the pressure got to her and she was 'kicked off' so to say, after completing some atrocious courses. This is to show herself and others that she truely can make a place for herself.

Personality: Sakura

Appearance: Sakura is a bubbly young woman. Her gangly build doesn't help her already younger looks, and strangers often mistake her to be 15 or so. She has super straight black hair with a mild fringe. Her face is delicate and feminine, with dark brown, almost black eyes and soft dimples when she smiles. She has a rather quirky fashion sense, and is a huge fan of Shakespeare. Most of her t-shirts are emblazoned with some quote from a play, especially from Twelfth Night.

Butterfly Summer

Appearance: Nara is a sturdy chestnut mare. She is a cross between Trakhener x Hokkaido Pony, so she isn't the finest in build. She has a thin blaze down her forehead, ending a couple centimetres before her nose. Standing at 14.3 hh, do not underestimate her jumping skill.

Personality: You know the phrase, "stubborn as a mare"? That was made for Nara. She will not do anything unless she thinks it's her idea. If you force her into something, just be warned: her bucks are big. She rarely shows large amounts of affection, although she will love you forever if you stay with her in her stall overnight.

Rider's Notes / Quirks: She HATES cats, dogs, stallions and the dark. The last one to the point that she will rip a tendon trying to escape from it. Keeping a nightlight near her stall is advised :) Also keep her away from other horses. She was originally a polo pony, so that aggression has stayed in her. She also loooves water jumps.

Riding experience: Nadine grew up on a polo farm, her family fairly wealthy. Her home environment was cold and distant, which contributed to her personality today. She had access to many blue blood horses from a young age, beginning when she was 3.

Appearance: Viva is a tall bay Oldenburg. The stallion stands at 16.3 hh, his presence amplifying this effect. He has three white socks, only just passing the fetlocks. He has a neatly trimmed but short mane, with his tail pulled.

Personality: Viva is a sweet people-loving horse. He absolutely adores attention, to the point that he will chase you around the paddock for a pat. He hates people with beards though, but is fine with most other people. Viva normally listens, unless you ask in a forceful way. Then he will go WAY out of his way to make life a nightmare for you.

Rider's Notes / Quirks: He loves cats. If he sees one during a dressage test, he might stop and trot towards it, ignoring you. His rider also HAS to listen to him and ride differently, depending on his mood. Viva is also extremely afraid of:

Experience: Not much. Nadine bought him as a yearling, but has been building him up slowly.

Personality : Alex is as independent as a girl can get in he Victorian era. She hates the patriachal society and plans to rebel against it once she is older. If she hasn't already xD She is a deep thinker and can engage in an intelligent conversation for hours on end, especially if it is about women's rights. She can be a feisty little idiot though, speaking before thinking.

Appearance: Alex doesn't have any striking or intriguing features. She has dark brown, almost black hair that hangs plainly until just past her shoulder blades. She has mysterious grey-green eyes which always possess a slight noble air to them; her stature adds to this effect. Her build is slight, although she wouldn't quite be described as skinny. She usually wears a dark veil or hood, keeping her face away from viewers. Reason to be discovered in roleplay :)

Peoples no. 2

Appearance: Valent is a tall dark-haired woman. Her hair is cut short, only just covering her ears. She wouldn't quite be described as plump, rather her build is a little more covered. Her scathing eyes are heterochromatic, one green, one brown. Her long yet curvy build gives a very feminine look to her, although her short hair changes this image slightly.

Personality: Valent is a cool, professional young woman. She is very much her own person, often growing bored of others' idle chatter. She comes across as rude and inconsiderate, as she says exactly what she thinks without screening her harsh thoughts. She speaks little and quickly, getting out her opinion in two sentences or less. But her snappy demeanour proves helpful in a crisis, as she is level headed and calm. She may seem harsh and cold, but she's put up so many walls around her heart that she needs help to break the dow .

Appearance: Javelin is a tall bay stallion, with extremely dark points and three ragged socks. He has a rather stately Roman nose, hinting at Barb bloodlines. He was once a strong, fine horse, but now all that remains is his haughty face and depleted muscle.

Personality: Javelin is a fairly grumpy horse, who enjoys watching from a distance. Although he has a rude exterior, he actually loves horses, foals in particular. He is prone to ramble on about his foalhood, especially tall tales of defeating a giant hyena and such. A huge fibber.

Appearance: Cheikhou has a rather masculine build, with broad shoulders and muscular legs. Her face is rather feminine, though, sporting large smiling cheeks and a flat wide nose. Her eyes are a deep dark brown, getting lighter nearer the pupil. Her dark brown hair is a mess of curls, strands and a few braids here and there. She has a flair that could be called attractive, but not in the way society calls it. Cheikhou's dark skin is rough, with a cool undertone to it.

Personality: Cheikhou is a bit of a confusing person. She is wholehearted towards whatever needs to be done, whether she likes it or not, and is good at taking lead and doing whatever needs to be done. She's also a very bubbly and friendly person, as well as being someone you can depend on. She looves debating and, as previously said, gets into it seriously, but this can come across as abrasive or self-centred. She will get somewhat cold and focused, seeming very cold and rude. This changes almost immediately after it's finished, regardless of whether she won or not.

Riding level: Fairly advanced, not nearly perfect.

Backstory: Cheidhou was born in Ikela, Democratic Republic Of Congo, but moved around the country throughout her childhood. Her father worked as a government official, which meant that although his job was stable, the longest they ever stayed in one place was one year. They weren't rich or poor, simply the average Congolese working family. Constantly moving affected how she responds to friendships, and other parts of her personality.

Riding experience: Cheidhou has ridden wherever she could since age eleven, although she had to change instructors many times. Prior to that, she had been an avid gymnast, which eventually led her to vaulting. Fairly experienced, can't sit a wild ride too well. She loves smooth, equitation-related events, focusing on the bond between the horse and its rider.

Blair O'Connor

Appearance: bay with a dorsal stripe and 2 white socks, on her hind legs. Has a rather 'rough appearance', definitely not Araby.

Personality: can be a little blunt towards stallions; is just but can be a little harsh sometimes; is kindhearted and loving, but only when she sees fit

Personality: Kholo is a kind, bubbly woman. She loves people but does need to have rides alone every now and again. She may seem cheerful and fine on the outside, but inside she harbors deep guilt for her brother (see backstory). It may come out at times, but she has built so many walls and fake doors around it that it is very hard to get to.

Backstory: Kholo grew up in a poor home, with 2 other siblings. When she was 13, her younger brother T'sani got trampled by a horse while in her care. Although he survived, he lost both legs which left her devastated. Also, her father worked extremely hard to earn enough money for her to fulfil her dream (open a stud farm). He died at the age of 59, only 2 years ago through a stroke. Everything Kholo does is for him now.
