Backstory: Conrad grew up on a stud farm focused solely on breeding future top jumpers. His family owned and ran it, something that he both enjoyed and despised. His childhood was unhappy - not because of any direct outward factors, but rather because of the way his and his father's personalities clashed. He maintained a good relationship with his mother and older brother James, but distanced himself from the two remaining siblings (Cameron and Sebastian)

At the age of eighteen and equipped with two untrained three year olds, he began showing his family's horses to gain experience on the show circuit, as well as to up the value of the horses. Soon (as in multiple years xD) He was riding on the international circuit, now a prominent figure in the Australian and international showjumping communities alike. For the first two years or so, James and him showed together, gaining a notorious reputation as the Fairfield brothers, for their daredevil speed and delicate jumps. They parted ways once their showing schedules shifted, but still met up every now and then at some of the larger shows.

Personality: Ver is an intelligent, slightly haughty mare. She learns very quickly, but turns beast if she gets bored. Otherwise she's a forgiving mount, although she needs a sympathetic rider. Quick to adjust to new surroundings and people, making her an ideal show horse. Very athletic, but tends to struggle with water jumps.

Do they play any sports/did they play any in school: He played rugby during his first year of high school, before dropping out to focus more on his showjumping. Riding was definitely his main sport throughout his childhood/teen years.

Name: Khatya Illianti

Age: 19

Height: 1.78 metres

General appearance: Khatya is a slight, tall young woman. Her hair is a very pale blonde which reaches to her waist. It has small wavy curls and darker grey-blonde roots. Despite her height, she isn't sturdily built and is rather fine-boned. Her eyes are grey-green with small flecks of gold around the pupil, although this isn't noticeable further away. She has a rather striking gaze and the way she carries herself can attract unwanted attention.

Face-wise, her bone structure follows the trend of small, delicate parts. Her nose is undeniably straight and long, with a light dusting of freckles across the bridge. Cheekbones are unnoticeably high, while her eyebrows are slightly darker than her hair and the same shade as her roots.

Recognizable Characteristics: (scars, birthmarks, eyes, etc..) Very pale green-grey eyes. Double piercings on both ears, otherwise she's fairly normal.

Personality: Khatya gives off the impression of regality, serenity and aloofness all at once. Despite being born into a humble home, the way she carries herself implies that she expects, one day, for someone to tap her shoulder and tell her that she's some long lost royalty. She's an arrogant perfectionist who won't take shit from anyone. Her proudness doesn't appear in an "look at me I'm so much cooler than y'all" way, but rather in a 'I can't even deign to look at the common people' sense. Very cold and isolated, but enjoys intelligent banter and someone 'on her level'. Highly analytical as well as fast-thinking.

Khatya is *very* passive aggressive, and tends to bottle everything up until she physically cannot. She expects people to pick up on what she's feeling without actually saying it, which often ends up with both parties being frustrated.

Virtues: Her high moral drive - everything is broken in her eyes, and needs fixing to some extent. This very thing can also be a vice, as it often pushes people away - no one likes to be over-analyzed and be told what their faults are and how they can fix them. Intelligence to an extent, and self-control. She picks up even very subtle emotions, meaning that she has the capability to be empathetic.

Vices: Where to begin lmao. As mentioned above, her analyzing nature which wants to quickly put people in boxes and be done with it, forgetting the sticky fact that humans are, in fact, human. Khatya's perfectionism also makes her prone to breakdowns or very low days, though I wouldn't quite call this a vice.

And another double-edged sword: Khatya's ability to pick up emotions can mean that she exaggerated a situation beyond what's needed. E.g. she realizes her friend is somewhat angry. Assuming they act like her - don't like spelling out their feelings - she assumes it's something huge, when in actual fact it could have been something as simple as sleeping badly.

Relationship/interest: Single. Khara's standards are so ridiculously high that it's unlikely she'll ever find someone, but there's no harm in trying. OPEN.

Kirsten Obusi

Appearance: Kirsty is fairly short and curvy, with dark tan skin and very curly black hair. Her deep chestnut eyes are deepset and almond-shaped, and are fairly nondescript. Although she is strong, it isn't obvious when you glance at her from a distance. Her hair, as described earlier, is extremely curly and hard to control, hence why she almost never wears it loose. Personality: Kirsty is a sassy queen (metaphorically speaking) who is terrible at taking no for an answer and doesn't know when to shut her mouth. Generally, she's a brave - to the point of harm and/or recklessness - adrenaline junkie. She comes across as arrogant and outspoken, but she's fairly insecure with her body. (Her skill, on the other hand...let's just say that her opinion of that may be a tad too high.) Unsure of the rest, may elaborate in roleplay.

Appearance: Aaron is a slim, gawky-looking young man who looks about 16. His round cheeks add to his baby-face appearance, topped off by light blue eyes. He claims very proudly that he's 1/8 Native American, but this definitely doesn't show in his very pale complexion. Average height, dark brown hair closely cut with a typical short-back-and-sides. He's not athletic, but does sport slightly visible muscles from riding + has fairly broad shoulders.

Likes: grey horses, birds, camping, the smell of damp earth, forests & riding in them, mares, loose t-shirts, mild weather, long car drives, driving.

Backstory: Aaron grew up in an extremely stimulating environment - not only were both of his parents serious equestrians, his mother was also a professor of history at their nearby university. Lewis especially encouraged whatever interests he had from a young age, whether it meant picking up sand from the side of the road for 'his scientific research' to driving around for hours looking for a rare bird that was sighted in the area ("Just a few more minutes Dad? I swear it's here somewhere.")

Timestruck Meridian

Appearance: Kay is of average height, or maybe just below it. He has raven-black hair with wavy curls, which he absolutely adores and hates cutting (at the moment, it's just long enough to be tugged into a tiny bun, but he generally wears it loose, since it looks and feels better that way.) Very straight, sharply cut nose with a softer jawline and cheekbones, and dark blue-green eyes. His build isn't anything out of the ordinary, and at first glance his appearance is average. It's only once you look deeper that you notice the sharp intensity of his eyes, or the freckles on his cheeks that are scattered in varying darkness across his cheeks, with a small constellation-style star forming at the bottom of his left cheek. He has tanned skin and the afore-mentioned freckles, thanks to his time spent out in the sun. Kay isn't 'ripped' as such, but he's well-muscled , shoulders especially noticeable in that sense. His style in clothing is completely erratic and very predictable of an art student - it varies from day to day (he loves thrift shopping) but his most recognizable item is a plaid flannel jacket that's way too big for him (he has multiple but no one can tell the difference - don't tell him this, though; these are his children) But when forced by his siblings or friends to dress respectably, he'll inevitably wear a black or sometime white t-shirt with a logo or quote on it, always tucked in to his pants.

Personality: At first, Kay comes across as a down-to-earth, friendly young man. This isn't a lie or facade - rather, this only gets clearer the deeper you get - but underneath his smiling nature is much more than that. He's very intuitive and can pick up on what others are feeling, but often takes it into himself to solve their problems. Because of this, he tends to exaggerate their feelings in his head, inevitably limping the blame on himself (making him act mopey) or them (making him act moody and cold towards them). He often second-guesses friendships and relationships, and likes being reassured. Not clingy or dependent on others, but rather he needs to know where he stands in the other person's mind, so that he can adjust how close he thinks they are in his mind accordingly.

Backstory: Kay loved horses from a young age, first exposed to them on a family friend's farm when he was three. His older brother, Hunter, took up riding soon after this summer and after an incessant amount of begging, Kay was allowed to as well. And so begin the horse fever, as his mom called it.

He heard of White Oaks in his senior year of high school, and wanted to apply to join after school, but his parents didn't and still do not believe that horseridjng could pay his bills. They essentially said that if he could earn a degree, he'd be allowed to do whatever he wanted after that. After winning a scholarship at UNIVERSITY, he half-loaned/leased cheaply his horse to his brother while he studied art and graphic design - not exactly the path his parents had been intending, but once he'd won the bursary they weren't going to argue.

Kay somehow balanced riding/showing and his course (which he was taking in three years instead of the usual four). After graduating, he took a few months to focus on training his new prospect, Pax, a gelding he'd been given by an older couple who couldn't afford his upkeep. He built up his experience and acclaim on the hunter and eventing circuits alike, until he was satisfied enough to finally apply to WOEC.

Likes: quality time with people he loves: watching a movie, road trips, or just chilling in each other's space without feeling any pressure to make conversation; calling people by their full names (including surnames and any middle names); baking; just hugging/cuddling/doing any of the previously listed activities in someone's arms;

He has a close-cut beard that hugs his jawline, and is clipped very specifically to his wants. His skin is a touch darker than Kay's, but less freckle-covered and of a more bronze tint.
