Gwendolyn Steele || Relationships | Izzy Greene | | Izzy is someone Gwen considers herself to be quite close with. To Gwen Izzy feels like a twin flame and she can talk with her for hours without ever feeling bored or like she is too much of a burden. Gwen appreciates her charisma and work ethic as well as her listening ear and wonderful stories. | | Grey Kerr | | Gwen appreciates how hardworking and dedicated Grey is to his craft but finds his attitude sometimes offputting. She enjoys pestering him and pushing him to the brink of full-blown meltdowns. Despite his stand-off personality, Gwen has yet to give up trying to be his friend. Gwen quite loves her mystical stories and bubbly attitude. She enjoys seeing Faye's paintings and can talk with her about art and stories the two have read. | | Saeya Hunter | | Saeya is someone Gwen likes discussing her studies with. She goes to her if she needs a suggestion on something to read or if she needs help with an assignment. Gwen respects how hardworking she is and tries to get her out of the barn as much as possible to be involved in University activities. | | Thrya Dröfnsson | | It took Gwen a while to break through the coldness of Thyra's shell and she sometimes still struggles to accept that she may never fully understand the teen. Much like Scarr, Gwen offers her help to the girl in any way she possibly can whether it be school or equitation. | | Kat Payne | | Kat is the gal Gwen looks to if she needs help with equine-related issues. She knows of her past in training and knows that Kat will tell her what she needs to hear. Gwen loves having Kat around and admires how she carries herself. | | Jack Williams | | Gwen thinks Jack is a mighty attractive individual but finds his personality even more so. His laid-back nature tends to mellow out her persona and she enjoys working with him when she can. She trusts Jack in the arena and often asks him to accompany her on chores if Izzy or Faye can not. | | Heather Storm | | Gwen understands that Heather is a loner and doesn't like to push the woman like she enjoys pushing Grey. Pestering Grey is entertaining and she learned quickly that it makes Heather uncomfortable. When they speak Gwen always allows Heather to initiate in order to make her more relaxed and comfortable. | | Maggie Stilwater | | Gwen adores Maggie and finds herself seeking the woman out whenever she can. She enjoys her warmth and motherly nature. Though Gwen is an optimist she appreciates Maggie's ability to give it to her straight while still being kind in her delivery. She often looks to Maggie for advice. | Please let me know if anything does not seem like your character and I will change it right away! In my mind, Gwen has no issue trying her best to be everyone's friend. She is such a loving character and will more than likely see it as her job to be a role model for younger students and offer her help if she can in school or in riding! |

Hey everyone! I am so excited to have this roleplay on the move! @Muse - that is so cool!!! Your sketching talent is awesome (I can only do stick figures X.X). Love your vision of Gwen I love and appreciate everyone's character relations! (although it makes me chuckle seeing Julianna referred to as Jules by everyone - my bad for not creating her Character Form yet x.x) Thank you everyone for being a part of this! Realized a bit too late that I should have posted an update here about starting the RP - to help ease us all in. I waffled a bit about the Opening Setting (time) as I wanted to give everyone a chance to introduce their character and work themselves in before having a "group activity" - the Competition Team Meeting. . . . The opening premise - The morning chores are already done, horses are turned out, with a few inside, and the general work finished by the staff - with Clients, Boarders, and Lesson takers coming in for the afternoon. The Competition Team will be having a Meeting about 5 pm. In the roleplay it is about 2 pm or so - The idea is to give everyone the chance to introduce their characters - if you are on the competition team, there is a meeting in 'a little bit'
Characters working with the Rehab horses can come in and interact with Established horses (some of you have expressed interest in working with horses about to graduate or already graduated the program.
Foaling Program - while there aren't foals on the ground, there are a couple of mares expecting soon. A big note - All characters have already been at Bayrdige Stables for at least a couple months minimum. Your character should know people or know of people. Your character already knows Maggie and Julianna. Your character's horse(s) are already established in the barn. You have freedom to pick pasture/paddock turnout (use the Layout image to help orient yourself if needed). You can use any and all of the facilities at the barn (round pen, eurocisor, lounge, dormitory area, feed room, tack room). There's tons of trails past the north fence (behind the cross country field), as well as a perimeter galloping/hacking track. You can have a bodyworker, farrier, even vet out if you wish. I apologize for not clarifying things up earlier (and changing them last minute). I let my muse run away with me for Maggie and Julianna's intro posts (and stayed up way too late) - it is very much my fault for not communicating better. Katherina Payne - 24 | Female | Head Groom | Foaling & Rehab | Maggie Stilwater | | Kat likes Maggie's work ethic and has sought her out a time or two when she's needed something fixed. She thinks that she could be close with Maggie, but feels like the woman gets annoyed with her sometimes. They share a love of margaritas and have had fun late nights at the barn. | | Isabelle Greene | | Kat thinks Izzy can sometimes overstress herself, and she tries to help out the girl whenever she asks. Even with Kat's exuberant personality, she is oftentimes outshined by Izzy's excitement, but she loves the girls' enthusiasm. | | Greyson Kerr | | Grey's a smart man and Kat admires his ability to solve problems on the fly. However, she does end up butting heads with him because of his lack of being a team player. She hopes that he grows to like working with others and could see herself becoming friends with him. | | Dr. McCoy | | Kat gets along well with the Dr. and enjoys discussing methods of treatment with the horses on the property. Sometimes Saeya's sarcasm goes right over Kat's head because she takes things at face value. She has a soft spot for her and is trying to get to know Thyra at her own pace. | | Jack Williams | | With Jack's persistence with riding and other quirks, Kat enjoys being around the man and discussing their favorite books together. With him not being a morning person, she likes to dial back her usual morning exuberance to not get on his bad side. She's got a small crush on him but would never admit it openly. | | Heather Storm | | Kat likes Heather's stubborn nature and has unashamedly spooked her a few times. She doesn't mean to do it, but she is often amused by the woman's clumsiness. She finds Thyra to be endearing and has snuck in a flirtatious line or two the brief times that they have talked, only for it to pass over the brunette's head. | | Gwendolyn Steele | | Gwen has a rare personality type that Kat is sometimes blindsided by. The woman's pure nature can be too much for Kat to handle, and she has to stop herself from smothering her because of her cuteness. She sees Gwen as a younger sister and would love to be closer to her. | |

I love the idea of making boards for characters, makes them seem more alive and tangible. Made one for Katherina too, with Notti of course. |

@Riven - You don't have to use the Table to write up your character relations. It was something I came up with on the spot, and everyone else has found to work for them. Love all the character boards! That's so creative! |
