Joe the horse doesn't match the baclground There are plenty of tutorials on deviant art to help you but from what I'm able to do-
Duplicate the background layer, put it on a clipping mask to the horse layer and blur so its just blobs of colour, then switch this layer to one of the following Soft.light Overlay Colour
Then mess with the opacity. If it still looks a little out of place dupliactae the horse layer so you have backup then bead with brightness and contrast and/or colour change

That is gorgeous!! I love the mane and the background choice is beautiful. The only thing I can see is the hooves are obviously blurred. Try making it seem like they're under the water by playing with the different colors and brushes. Edited at October 13, 2019 11:48 AM by White Forest Farms

Hey!
To start off, the hooves are very blurry. Try finding some water splash stock and putting over the hooves (adjust the opacity of the splash layer if it looks funny).
Next... The horse doesn't really match the background. They are two different lightings- Warm and cool[er] (The horse is warm and the background is too cool for it to look realistic with the horse.) If you dont want to replace the background, I would play around with hues and balance on the horse and bg. You could also blur the bg a little if you want to draw more attention to the horse.
The mane and tail look fine, but I would add some shadows and a [few] harsh highlights (with the layer set to overlay). Apply the highlights all over the body\wherever you want the viewer to focus.
One last thing... The credits are a bit hard to read due to the trees in the background. Maybe try moving the credits to the bottom or another place where they are more visible :P
Hope this makes sense and helps :D Edited at October 13, 2019 11:51 AM by Trillium Acres

This peice is great
Some pointers
-the tail wouldn't be so thick and straight, try adding some curve near the bottom in the opposite direction
-as stated ahive the hooves are blurred, when it comes to situations like these the hooves would be covered by water but not completely ~to do this dupliactate the horse layer, erase some of the hooves on one layer and lower the opacity of the other layer
-try blurring some of the bg to add more focus to the subject [the horse]
-the horse would have more green and cyan hues, try messing around with the colour change option
For the tailill do a quick red pen for the image now Lambo Farms said:

I would say to blend the feet in the ground and the end of the tail spreads kinda of funny.
