Ambrose pauses "hmm...what about a horror? I like scary movies" he suggested "not because you're a ghost or anything!" he added quickly "would you be okay with that?" Ambrose had zero experience with dates so he had no idea how to go about setting one up but he was trying his best

He chuckles a little, "No a horror film is fine with me. There's no need to be nervous you know. Just relax and enjoy the date." He himself was already relaxing and a little excited. It had been years since his last date, the last one being the day before he died. And lets just say that didn't go well once the actual girlfriend of the man he was out with showed up.

Ambrose's lips quirked up in a smile "you have a pretty cute laugh" he said and nodded "Horror it is" he turned on the TV and flicked through the movies until he found a good one, clicking select he leaned back and sighed "so do we hold hands or...?" this was a date not a hangout so he assumed something romantic should happen

He smiled some hearing that his laugh was cute. "Well if you want we can hold hands," he says after the question, "but I think some people prefer this." He then wraps an arm around Ambrose and pulls him in a little closer. Phantom had seen couples at the theatre and plays do this and it seemed romantic. He had tried it once before and the other person got uncomfortable. Hopefully Ambrose liked it.

Ambrose blushed slightly and leaned on Phantom's side "this works" he smiled bringing his legs onto the couch so he was curled up against Phantom with his head resting on the others shoulder, it was surprisingly comfortable and this meant if he got scared by the movie he could look away and have Phantom comfort him, he liked the idea of that so he didn't move from his spot

He nods and keeps his arm around him. He moves it some tho when Ambrose changed where and how he was sitting and smiled some more feeling his head on his shoulder. His attention turned towards the TV as the movie started. It didn't seem too bad at first, but after a while the horror parts came in. He barely jumped knowing that it was all fake although he did flinch slightly at the loud noises, but it was not enough to tell that he did.

Ambrose was fine with blood and that, gore didn't bother him..much..but the jump scares got him and made him jump, especially when the music had that eery build-up just before, when the people screamed he turned his head away into Phantom's shoulder, the whole hacking people apart was a bit too much to look at without squirming
He looks down at him and sees his head in his shoulder. "You know we can always watch a different movie," he suggests, "if you're too spooked to watch this one." He didn't want Ambrose to not enjoy the movie, but didn't want to upset him either.

"It's fine, I just get squeamish sometimes" He said looking up at Phantom "Like I said I still like scary movies" Ambrose assured turning back to the screen when the screaming went down "the pizza will be here soon anyway so when it gets bad I can focus on my food"
He nods some and looks back at the movie. A little later there's a knock on the door. Phantom turned to look that way and wondered if it was their food. He wondered if maybe he should go invisible so he wasn't see. I mean what if it was someone from his past life and they saw him? What would happen then?
