Mari nodded in agreement. "They're all just a bit... snooty," she hummed with a bit of a chuckle. Though, it was a bit sad to think about... that their child would never get along with the likes of the children up here. They would be bullied mercilessly, and Mari knew that.... she couldn't do that to their child. She smiled when he mentioned the barn. "Preferably somewhere that's not in the middle of the slums. I mean... on the outsides would be nice. Where the kid can play outside without us worrying ourselves," she added thoughtfully. She then grinned at him at his little comment. "Well... you don't know your last name, do you? I suppose if you were to take on someone else's last name you'd take on their rank with it, no?" She asked curiously... she'd have to ask the doctor. It was the kind of thing he'd seem to know. She then gave a bit of a giggle at his next comment, and pressed a third kiss to his cheek before curling into him with a soft hum as she got comfortable.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in agreement. "Of course....I'd want the kid to be safe," he agreed. "But we don't need something super expensive," he mused. "Just something small and homely. If we have more and need to upgrade I can always build on the house we have or we could move into a bigger one." He shrugged slightly before chuckling and shrugging again. "True," he hummed. "I hadn't thought much into it," he admitted, rather amused by that. He wrapped his arms around the girl when she cuddled up a little bit more.

Mari nodded in agreement to the boy. It wasn't like she had much money to spend... it just had to be warm and dry, with enough room for the three of them. They didn't have much between them, so it wouldn't take much to move in. She then looked to Sage with a look of almost shock. "You want more?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle. Of course, another one wouldn't bother her, but they needed to actually have this child before even thinking of anything else. She smiled when he wrapped his arms around her, and she went to gently run her hand up and down his chest. "It might not work like that, though," she told him with a bit of a shrug.

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "I'm just thinking ahead," he hummed. "We don't necessarily know what might happen," he pointed out. "I might find another baby in the street and bring it home," he joked lightly, nudging Mari before cuddling up again. "I know," he hummed. "I'm rather surprised you got pregnant anyway," he admitted with a light chuckle. "I'm glad you did though....I can't wait for it to be born."

Mari chuckled lightly and rested a hand on her stomach with a bit of a smile. "I'm surprised too," she told him lightly before shaking her head a little bit. "But definitely glad... so everything needs to go alright," she sighed before shaking her head. She really didn't think she'd ever be able to have a child of her own... which was why she was a bit shocked that she was pregnant at all. "I think... if we were ever to want another one, we might struggle for our own," she sighed a slight frown crossing her face. "So we might actually need you to go and pick a baby up off the street," she told him with a kind of bittersweet chuckle.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "I think we definitely got lucky this time," he hummed. Neither one of them were the most healthy in terms of reproductive health (or any health for that matter) so really this was a surprise. "Id be glad to save another one," he chuckled lightly. "So I suppose that would be good for everyone," he hummed lightly. (Short, I have another game lol)

(No worries!) Mari chuckled lightly to the boy, though he was right... the chances of this happening again, for either of them, were low. Very, very low. It wasn't exactly impossible... but unlikely. Although that thought did sadden her, they'd manage, even if it was only with one child. That one child would be loved more than it would ever know, and she knew that much. She then gave the boy a bit of a sheepish grin. "If time does come where we want another one, I don't expect there'd be any harm in trying ourselves first..." she told him in a kind of teasing manner as she settled down under the blankets next to him.

Sage chuckled and gave the girl a grin at her comment. "Well, I don't think we have to wait that long to have fun," he hummed in a rather playful manner. He did know that however many kids they ended up having, they would be happy. Happy and loved. Loved in a way that he definitely wasn't. Though, he was nervous ....he had a father to show him what not to do, what not to be like....but he was at a bit of a loss of what to do. He was trying to figure it out, and he had the doctor, but he still wasn't sure about how it would all work. But, Mari would help, and so would her mom and the doctor, so he wasn't too overly worried.

Mari couldn't help her childish chuckle at his comment before rolling her eyes. "Oh, can't we now?" She asked with a cocked head. "I personally think we could wait that long," she teased light, her voice a little bit singsong as she joked to the boy. Obviously, she wouldn't make him do that... it would just be cruel, but she could tease all the same. She rather enjoyed teasing him, especially when they were just relaxing... it was nice. Cuddling with Sage was nice, cooking with him was nice, teasing, going for walks, just talking... it was all just nice. She felt safe and cozy with him, in a way that she hadn't been before... and she loved him for it all, she really did.

Sage snorted and gave the girl a pointed look. "I'd like to see you go without me for that long," he teased her. "Because it seems to me that you rather enjoy it," he sang right back at her. He normally wasn't this teasing back ...he sort of let her win oftentimes, but they were cuddled up, and he just felt mischievous now. It wasn't quite bed time yet, so really there was no reason not to have some fun. Especially while they were just laying here cuddling.
