Mari chuckled softly and held onto the boy a little bit tighter. "I'm the baby," she repeated with a small sigh. He'd have to get going, he needed to look after all of the horses, but surely he'd stay for a little bit? She certainly wasn't used to being the last one in bed. "You're warm, so you're not allowed to leave," she mused softly before burying her nose into the side of his neck, where his skin was soft. "You smell good too," she then added with a small laugh, using his neck to hide from whatever light was coming through the windows.

Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comments and rolled his eyes, but stayed curled up with her happily. "I smell nice," he snorted with a giggle. "You must still be tired if you're making that into a compliment," he teased lightly, giving her a gentle squeeze. He sort of rested his chin lightly on her head, letting her bury her face into his neck. They stayed like that for a bit longer, maybe half an hour, before a sighed and patted the girl's back. "If you wanna go baby shopping today, you gotta let me go for now," he mused in a rather amused manner. He liked cuddling, he really did, but he had things to do, and then they had more things to do together later.

Mari groaned at his little tease but shook her head. "I always compliment you," she whispered to the boy before chuckling a little bit. She soon drifted off to sleep again, and only woke up when she heard the boys voice again and felt his pat. "Alright," she murmured softly before moving to press a light kiss to the boys cheek. "Have fun," she whispered as she untangled herself with him and curled back up under the blankets again as she tried to get herself back off to sleep. It stuck her as to how long it'd been since she'd had a bed to herself... and she couldn't life, she preferred it when she could cuddle up with the boy.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed in agreement with the girl. He pecked her on the temple lightly once he got up and tucked the covers back in over her so the warmth would stay even if he was gone. He wandered down to the barn, Amber bouncing along beside him as they went. He went pretty quickly, though the girl was still asleep so he took enough time to greet mystery and chaos, and make sure they were all happy and content. It took maybe an hour and a half or so...and then he and Amber went back to the room. He came in quietly, in case Mari was still asleep, and peeked around to see where she was at.

Mari slept for a long while... she got up to make sure Amber had food and water when she came back... then she just went right back to sleep. Mainly because she just wanted a nice sleep for once... she did get some breakfast, though. She opened her eyes a tiny bit when the boy came in and gave a sleepy smile. "How were the horses?" She asked quietly as she gave a small stretch and a bit of a yawn... she'd really grown to white like the horses, despite initially not really liking them.. more so being scared of them.

Sage smiled softly when the girl turned over and crawled back into the bed to flip down next to her happily. "They're fine," he hummed. "I can't believe how much mystery has grown," he hummed. He'd brought some fruit and stuff over from the kitchen, since he figured they should eat before leaving, so he held up an apple. "hungry," he giggled lightly, knowing she probably was. "Let's eat something before we head out and then we can leave when you're ready," he hummed lightly.

Mari rolled over and rested her head on his side when he flopped down next to her with a happy kind of noise. "They get big fast," she hummed, looking up at the boy. "Amber is big too," she hummed lightly before leaning up to peck him on the lips. She nodded when he said they should eat. "You're feeling well enough too?" She asked with a bit of a smile. She knew he hadn't been very hungry over the last few days, so it was nice to see him getting his own food. "I've already eaten," she then added quietly.

Sage hummed happily and nodded. "They do. Makes me wonder where the time will go once ours is born," he mused, the usual grin forming on his face in response to the girls kiss. He shrugged and took a bite of the apple once Mari had said she'd already eaten. "Not really," he admitted. "But that's just because I'm used to not eating the last few days." He shrugged slightly chuckled. "I figured passing out in the middle of town because I haven't eaten for three days wouldn't make for a great time in town," he hummed in a rather amused manner. Amber by then had jumped up onto the bed and sat down on his chest, meowing loudly. He huffed out a breath and handed a price of apple to the cat, who curled up to munch on it happily.

Mari smiled lightly at the boy when he mentioned their child... it would go fast. She knew that, and it was almost scary. "I can't lie, it's scary to think about," she mused lightly, then cocked her head at the boy. "Does your stomach still hurt? Or are you just feeling a bit off?" She asked with furrowed brows, obviously a little bit concerned... but as he said, it was probably just because he hadn't eaten much over the last few days. "No, please don't go passing out in the middle of town," she told him with a bit of a chuckle as her hand started gently running around his abdomen as she tried to entertain herself. "Everything we look at today has to be neutral... I don't want the poor babu growing up with anything too bright, especially if it's the wrong colour," she mused lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded and then waved off the girl's concern. "I'm fine," he promised. "Just not used to eating much," he chirped. Then he chuckled and nodded. "I don't think it would make for a very pleasant afternoon," he hummed. "And I don't think I want to ever be tube fed again," he chuckled lightly. He nodded in agreement to the girl's other comment. "We can look at basic things, and if we see something bright we like we know to look for something a bit more neutral of the same thing," he pointed out happily. He tossed the core in the trash can and sat up again. "You about ready to go, then?"
