Mari nodded in agreement to the boy. They did have a while until they needed to start worrying about runaway babies. She rested a hand just on top of his when he wrapped an arm around her side, a light chuckle escaping her when he mentioned the doctor. "Oh, I bet he's excited. This'll be his grandchild," she mused lightly to the boy. "I bet he's thrilled for you as well. You know, I think despite how grumpy he can be, he actually quite likes watching the kids running around and screaming. Reminds him of when he was young, old man," she hummed lightly as she moved to press a light kiss to the boys jaw. "Are you nearly done here? I don't have much to do now," she mused lightly.

Sage hummed and nodded when she mentioned the doctor being excited. "I think he regrets never having kids a little bit sometimes," he admitted. "But he can still be a doctor this way, and he gets kids and grandkids too." He chuckled lightly and nodded in agreement. "He acts like a cranky old man, but he's quite fond of the little ones. You should see how he spoils Att," he snorted in a rather amused manner. "Oh please, he can still chase me down and shove medicine or food down my throat, he's just as limber as he was before," he snorted before nodding and giving the girl a grin. "Yeah, I was just messing around with Mystery a bit. Work's done, and I already visited Chaos for a bit," he hummed. "I'll put her away and we can go do something," he hummed standing up and reaching for the girls hand to tug her along with him.

Mari smiled softly when she thought of the doctor. She really did like the man... he was good, despite seeming so grumpy from time to time. "He'll be a good grandad... just like you'll be a good dad," she hummed softly to the boy. She knew he was a bit nervous about being a father, but he'd be amazing, and Mari knew that much. She smiled when he gave her his hands and pulled herself up before following him along. She was certainly getting better with the horses... they didn't frighten her so much now. Or maybe it was just because she wasn't scared of Sage, and she loved him... and she wanted to love what he loved. "I was thinking we get the babies corner of the room set up... so it's not a rush when it actually comes along," she hummed lightly.

Sage chuckled and nodded happily. "He'll be very happy when the baby finally arrives," he chirped, letting go of Mari's hand to get Mystery settled back in her stall before taking the girls hand again and starting back to the castle. "We can do that now," he hummed lightly. "We have a few hours before dinner." He shrugged lightly. "Getting it done sooner rather than later would be a good idea." The crib was sitting there, but they had to set up blankets and maybe get a basket of toys and care items set up.

Mari nodded lightly to the boy before shrugging slightly. "I hope so," she hummed gently. "He might have baby sitting duties when the baby gets a bit older," she told him lightly. She smiled when he agreed to her idea, and they made their way back up to the room. She stared at the pile of things before shaking her head, "I'm not sure where to start," she told him with a bit of a laugh. "Are you okay to put the blankets out and I can start sorting all the toys up," she stated before grabbing a small chest from under the bed and dragging it out before sorting all the toys into the box.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "I'm sure he'll be more than happy to babysit for a while," he hummed. He nodded in response to Mari's suggestion and carried the blankets they'd gotten over to the crib and setting them up to make quite the cozy little neat in there for the baby. "You're better at organizing than me, so by all means do that," he chuckled lightly. (Short lol)

(Sorry, idk what happened there) Mari rolled her eyes at the boy before chuckling lightly. He was right, and she was a just a little bit better than him at organising. A lot better. She sorted everything out, then went to grab some spare blankets from the side and put them away in the box. She grabbed a mobile they'd bought, with some small animals hanging from it, and it was really quite adorable. "Can you hang this from the ceiling?" She asked with a grin. She then wandered over to the crib and looked into it with a smile. "I wouldn't mind sleeping in there," she mused lightly.

(lol it's all good) sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to the girl and sort of traded the blankets for the decoration she handed him. He climbed into a chair to hang it up. He could reach the ceiling relitively easily, though he had to stretch his arms and torso a bit. Nothing too difficult, and he chuckled at Mari's other comment. "Neither would I," he hummed. "It looks pretty cozy," he admitted. He finished hanging the mobile and climbed down from the chair, sliding it over where it came from and pulling his shirt down. It had come up a bit when he hung the mobile up.

Mari grinned to the boy at his comment and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I think so," she hummed lightly to the boy. She watched him put the mobile up and gave an excited bounce to the boy. "I love it," she chirped as she watched him climb down. "Were we not planning on stitching some of Lunthers shirts to fit you?" She asked with a cocked head. She wasn't sure why it had just come back to her... but oh well. She had nothing better to do for the next few days, so if he wanted that done she could maybe have a go at it.
