My sister made a friend a while ago and the girl was supposed to be really big on horses and know a lot about them and what not. My sister asked her what here favorite horse breed were today and her words were: mustang, bay, and stallion. I was like yeah, bitch is fake XD

- Im always asked if my horses are race horses - I was riding in one of my pastures and someone screamed ride'em cow girl out of their car window. I was literally just riding bareback lol - My first year at fair, a couple people asked if my pony was pregnant or if she was a foal - Same year at fair, my pony was trying to rear up with me and bolting. Somebody walked their horse up behind mine and stood their. Of course, my pony backed into their horse, and the people were yelling at me, saying get a control of your horse. They literally had just gotten into horses and were just "borrowing" from a barn. I was only eight and my pony was trying to kill me. 😒 My pony was big to me at the time, because she was 13.2 I still own her, and she's still idiotic even as a 26 year old

I teach lessons, and the kids are great, but every once in a while I'll get a parent that just pretends to know everything because they watch Yellowstone. Recent favorites include- "that's a nice little hackney pony", talking about our fat little pinto QH, showing off his knowledge about roans (our graying baby), trying to offer me advice about a problem horse (insert Ron Swanson "I know more than you" GIF) and making a comment about our cute little 2 acre ranch (we are.... over 15 acres). Just trying to talk the talk while embarassing himself lmao.

I was called an animal abuser by a 10 year old because I was using holding a crop on my 5 year old green gelding.

- I've been cutting pieces from horses manes to make bracelet. Winnie's mane would be perfect for me to use! (One of Winnie's past owners hinting that she wanted to cut her mane) lmao no. But I'd've just waited till her bridle path grew out and save the hair I cut, just giver her the bridle path hair and your horse doesn't have to look weird ;D

Kaelua Stables said: 1. People who say palominos are a breed 2. "Why would you want to break a horse?" 3. When they call horses brown or yellow I believe the reason for this is that the Palomino Horse Society(o whatever) has been trying to make palominos a "breed", but it's like, eff off, they're a chestnut with a single cream allele xD

I keep her bridle path maintained for shows, her halter, and her bridle so that would be a big inconvenience. I also would never give pieces of her mane to her old owner who was very abusive at her home barn and in the show ring. I also fully paid for her.
