Anya nodded quietly before tilting her head back a little so she was leaning in. It did make sense to her... his family were buried out there, Lizzie and his mother, and he wouldn't get to see them as much if he stayed in the castle. He couldn't go back to the lake, or the cave, or even the tavern, which he'd mentioned had become a bit of a home away from home for him. He wasn't asking her to leave her home... so it seemed selfish to ask him to do the same for her. "Just... know I love you," she whispered softly, "probably more than I should," she added with an small, rather faint chuckle.

Sage chuckled and nodded before pressing a light kiss to the girls head in response. "I know. I'll never forget that," he murmured. "You make that pretty hard to do," he chuckled in a joking type of way. He'd obviously never forget, or want to forget, her or her love, but he didn't think he could even if he wanted to. She'd been such a major part of his life, part of him really, for so long now it was like she was engraved onto his heart.

Anya nodded softly before giving a heavy type of breath. "You shouldn't be wanting forget my love for you anyway," she hummed lightly before giving a gentle chuckle. "Well, you have my permission to forget while you're in the tavern, I suppose," she hummed lightly before picking up Att and gently placing him back in his crib... he was flat out anyway, before flopping back down on the bed, though she was facing him this time, a small smile painted across her lips as she curled back into him. "You know, it's gotten to the point that everything I do is for you... it's strange. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it is odd. I think even when I was sneaking out at night, it stopped being for myself and rather because I wanted to see you." She hummed lightly, a slightly reminiscent smile across her face.

Sage chuckled at her first comment and then groaned at her second. "Dont remind me," he chuckled. He curled up into the girl when she came back, burying his face into her chest and then peeking up at her mischievously when she spoke up again. "Well, why wouldn't you want to see me," he purred, really just joking around. "Doesn't every girl want some crazy tavern boy who does really dumb things and then laughs about the fact that he could have died," he joked, making it sound like a wonderful guy to have when really he was sure the girl was a bit tired of him laughing at the fact that he was bleeding out or something. It made for a good joke though, and a good response...really the only response he could think of, since his cheeks were bright red, though he wasn't sure why the girl's comment had made him like that. It wasn't his usual flustered blush, more of just...a happy one. Proud, almost. Whatever, either way he was going to joke around.

Anya hummed gently when the boy buried his face into her chest, and gently ran a hand up the back of his neck in a comforting kind of way. When he made his little joke, her expression instantly became a little brighter. "Yeah, that's exactly what every well raised girl would want. And unstable, crazy tavern boy, who does dumb things all the time... like pick up random babies off of the streets," she murmured lightly before pecking a light kiss to his nose. "I'd bet you have to fight all the girls off with sticks. I still don't believe there was no one before me," she hummed in amusement. She did notice his little blush, and and to admit she was a bit amused by it. She furrowed her eyes like a confused puppy before giving a slight smile. "Why are you blushing?" She asked lightly, a confused chuckle escaping her.

Sage chuckled at Anya's continuation of the joke, a grin forming on his face. "At least it's a cute baby," he giggled. He shrugged and grinned up at the girl. "Oh, there's been plenty who have tried," he assured the girl. "I just never cared," he chuckled. "And it is kinda funny to see their faces when they come up all seductively and just walk away," he cackled. Then he wrinkled his nose. "Though, all they really have to do is go to the tavern, but most of them have no idea that that's even a thing." He let out a tiny squeak when Anya mentioned his blush and he hid his face in her chest again as it only got deeper. "I don't know," he squeaked. "You complimented me and my face decided to become a desert!" Then he peeked up at the girl with a playful pout on his face. "And you pointing it out doesn't help," he whined, no doubt looking like some kind of adorable five-year-old. Well, if it weren't for the scars, anyway. Though Anya didn't seem to care about those.

Anya chuckled lightly at his comment about the baby. "He is cute," she agreed lightly, "luckily for him," she added, rather amused by the whole thing. She cocked her head slightly at him mentioning all the girls. "All seductively," she repeated with a bit of a giggle, "god, I wonder what that looks like. I can imagine how they'd look when you turned them away, too," she asked with a bit of a grin. "So, you, sir, had the pick of half the girls in the slums and you didn't like one of them? Talk about hard to please," she teased lightly. When he hid back in her chest, Anya could just giggle. It was cute, really, but she decided not to say that encase he just for flustered about it. "Sorry," she squeaked, but it just sounded like she was trying to stop her laugh when he looked up at her all cute again... much the way a young child would. "I was confused, is all. It's sweet, when you're all like this," she told him lightly.

Sage chuckled along with Anya for her first few comments, rolling his eyes when she called him hard to please. "I'm not gonna give them when they want if they just want my body and not me! That has nothing to do with how hard I am to please," he complained lightly, sort of lengthening the argument. When he heard her little squeak of an apology, and her holding back her laughter, that just made him scowl (playfully) harder. And, of course, when she called him sweet, his blush deepened yet again. "Anya," he whined. "I'm not supposed to be sweet! I'm supposed to be the big bad tavern boy who saves the princess, remember," he whined, though still in a playful manner. But really, her calling him sweet was nice...he'd just never admit that. He did wonder if she thought he was cute, but he certainly was never going to ask the girl that.

Anya smiled lightly before shaking her head as he started to move their playful little argument around. It was true, though. "You need to give people more of a chance! I highly doubt that the whole population of girls wanted to sleep with you," she hummed lightly, though, she did know the opposite of what she'd just said was closer to the truth. "Maybe you're just the most eligible bachelor you there, and they want a bit of all..." she gestured to him with a teasing laugh, "all this," she hummed with a chuckle. When he started to go on with his little scowl, though it only really made him look cuter. It was a bit odd to think that someone who could be so frankly scary could be so sweet and cuddly in the right situation. "Sage," she cooed lightly, a bit of a copy of what he'd just said. She gave him a bit of a smirk before gently pushing his shoulder back and shifting so that she was straddling him. "You can't be a big bad tavern boy and the boy I'm sat on," she teased before leaning in to press a playful peck to his nose. "I'd say you're the rather adorable tavern boy who gets people into trouble," she corrected with chuckle.

Sage snorted when Anya responded, knowing full well that most of the girls in the slums would sleep with anyone at any point in time. He rolled his eyes when she gestured at him, chuckling slightly. "Yeah, because people look at me and think I would make the perfect boyfriend," he snickered, really meaning the complete opposite. He definitely did not look like a caring partner. Though, when the girl turned him over to straddle him and started to tease, his blush definitely got deeper. "Well trouble in fun," he laughed, shaking his head slightly. "Gotta live a little bit," he giggled childishly. Then he looked up at the girl and winked. "But the fact that I've done this stuff makes me a bad boy, no? Stealing the princess and making her fall desperately in love with me," he purred. He was joking around, yes, but if the girl took it farther he'd welcome it gladly.
